What a lovely company to purchase from
What a lovely company to purchase from, which is not my usual experience. Any queries I had with regard to my order were swifly dealt with in the most friendly and helpful manner by Freya a credit to her employers. Nothing was too much trouble and her responses were very quick, my delivery arrived the next day, I will not hesitate to buy from this company again.

Slow service, poor communication, and excuses instead of solutions
I ordered a single belt — nothing complicated — yet the waiting times seem to depend entirely on when they can be bothered to post it. If an item isn’t in stock, the website doesn’t make that clear, so you only find out when the order sits untouched for days.
After chasing, I received one unhelpful response about them being a “small family‑run business”, which is irrelevant to the customer and came across more like a guilt trip than an explanation. Since then, silence. No updates, no shipping, nothing.
Their stated delivery window was 4–7 working days. After 7 days, the item still hadn’t even been posted. That’s not Royal Mail’s timeline — that’s the company simply not fulfilling orders.
There are far better menswear retailers out there. I’d strongly recommend Loofes of Bury, James of Montpellier, and Jonathan Hawkes in Exeter. All offer far better customer service and can get an order out within 24 hours. And if they can’t, they at least communicate like professionals.
Unfortunately, A Farley Country Attire didn’t manage that. Slow processing, vague excuses, and no follow‑through. I won’t be ordering again.
Still waiting for a reply at the time of this review and I expect I’ll get a response once they read trust pilot. If they read this.., please refund me.

Five stars for the lovely Livvy, customer service at A Farley. Having been sent from pillar to post - webchat to phone back to webchat, I resorted rather pessimistically to emailing customer service regarding an order I placed 5 days ago. Livvy responded promptly to the points in my email with curtesy, clarity and assurance. Thank you, Livvy.
To A Farley…your webchat advises to contact you by phone. I did so after the lines opened only for an automated phone message directing me back to webchat. I’d like to think rather than this being a really useless ineffective way to communicate with you it was simply a lack of resource where no one was available. If it was the former then maybe it’s a process that’s needs reviewing?

I got a very good price for the item that I wanted compared with competitors. Having ordered the item I needed help from customer support. They were able to prioritise my query and make sure that I was able to make the best decision. Excellent customer support started with their Live Chat model. I wanted to speak to someone and Live Chat was able to raise a ticket with an advisor. They contacted me first thing this morning and provided me with the necessary support.
