Google chat wastes a lot of your time to record your issue... and then then they say:

"Our support team will be able to assist you further with this issue. However, Google has made significant changes to our help center making live transfers unavailable. You may request a call from them by going to this link...
Please wait for them to reach out to you via email or phones"...
and here is the frustrating part:

"... Since I've already provided you the resource to connect with our Support team, I will be kindly closing this chat thread now to assist other customers. I hope you have a great day! Thank you for contacting Google Ads!"

How poor is that for a service. Google take advantage of their monopoly. So sad.

Yotal Scam, do not set up Google ads. Tbey charge you and show you on yiur google ads account clixks but in reality no clicks. They are a scam and you have no where to sue them. Google is not a responsible company.

He invertido dinero y me han rechazado por supuesto malware y elusion la verdad es un asco, mi sitio no tiene nada en sus webs de chequeo sale que mi web esta limpia y en el mensaje de que se han suspendido mis anuncios no dice en donde está el supuesto error!!! no dicen anda!!!

Absolutely terrible.. just take your money and put it in the bin because you'll get more than Google ads will do.

Annoying, frustrating, dysfunctional

Very bad for everything. I have such a bad experience with google ads that I felt it was my duty to warn aal of you guys. DON'T USE GOOGLE ADS!!!

Every time I try to connect with the Google Hosted Support team by phone, the call does not reach them. Instead, it always gets transferred to another team, who verifies Google ads account and email ID, but then informs me that he is not part of the Google Hosted Support team.

Today, since 11:00 AM, I have been continuously trying to get in touch with the Google Hosted Support team. Unfortunately, no one is responding, and I have currently been on hold for more than an hour.

Facing issue with Google Ads account since Aug 2025

Google Ads ist in den letzten Jahren von immer mehr technischen Verschlimmbesserungen heimgesucht worden, deren einziges Ziel zu sein scheint, Googles Taschen weiter zu füllen. Deutlich gesunkene Effizienz bei deutlich gestiegenen Kosten. Für uns hat es leider ausgedient.

Crear una campaña en Google Ads es una experiencia frustrante y agotadora.

1. Documentación errónea y obsoleta, por lo que tienes que buscarte la vida para configurar tu campaña.

2. Interfaz tremendamente compleja, en la que a veces te suelta un error y no se te indica qué está causando el error.

3. Soporte inexistente (al menos para anunciantes pequeños que simplemente queremos anunciar negocios locales). Llamas, indicas tu id de usuario y te dicen que no ofrecen soporte telefónico a ese id. Escribes un mensaje, y bueno, llevo un mes esperando respuesta.

4. Con lo fácil que era hace 20 años configurar una campaña, metías las palabras clave, ponías CPC y en un día ya tenías la campaña funcionando, ahora lo haces, la campaña no muestra ningún anuncio y no hay soporte técnico para poder revisarlo.

En fin, un desastre, última vez que recomiendo a mis clientes usar Google Ads, nos vamos a Facebook e Instagram. Es increíble como una empresa como Google es tan incompetente para algunas cosas.

TUVE UN PROBLEMA CON LA APLICACIÓN DE UN CÓDIGO PROMOCIONAL POR ALGO QUE NO FUE FALLO MÍO Y NO SE HACEN RESPONSABLES. LA ÚNICA OPCIÓN QUE ME DAN ES CREAR OTRA CUENTA Y VOLVER A GASTAR EL DOBLE DE DINERO (OTROS 400 EUROS) PARA QUE SE APLIQUE DICHO CÓDIGO. SALE CRA LA BROMA.

Hält nicht was es es verspricht und macht mehr Arbeit als nötig.!!

Nachdem ich die letzten 2 Wochen immerwieder meine Identität bestätigen musste, obwohl dies bereits im registrierungprozess und durch die Geschäftdaten erfasst wurde, durfte ich immer wieder die selben Fragen beantworten. Existierende Informationen werden abgelehnt, da angeblich nicht existent, das die verwendung des Tagesbudget ist nicht transparent, ich hab das gefühl, ich zahle nur irgendwelche Summen, die zusammengeschustert wurden. Der Firmenname, der auch registriert ist, wird nicht angenommen, weil irrilevant, der darf aber nicht fehlen??? nun wurde mein Konto gesperrt. Warum genau und wo das Problem liegt, damit ich es lösen kann, nicht ersichtlich. Man darf sich erstmal durch den 'soforthilfe' - Reiter kämpfen, der aber auch nur allgemeine Infos ausspuckt und null Hilfreich ist. Statt eine konkreten Lösungsweg zu geben und zu erläutern, was genau nicht nicht, wird man auf einen 'Widerspruch' hingewiesen, der möglicherweise gar nicht bearbeitet wird, den man dann auch noch mit den nfos füllen darf, die ja schon vorliegen.
Fazit: 'Wenn man bedenkt, dass es sich um Google handelt, mehr als enttäuschend.
Es könnte viel einfacher strukturiert sein. Wenn es nicht die einzige Möglichkeit Werbung über Google und darüber hinaus zu schalten und Google nicht die meist genutzte Suchmaschine, wäre das ein Programm für die Tonne. Google Ads benötigt eine komplette Überarbeitung.

J'ai été victime d'une arnaque, on m'a débité 550€ . Preuve à 'l'appui avec les débits sur ma banque, et preuve que ce n'est pas moi car je n'ai meme pas de compte google adds. Google m'a gentiment envoyé promener . Je ne conseille donc pas du tout par principe !!

Google ads have been charging my card and I don’t even have an account. I have a subscription to google home, because I use their cameras. Now google ads have charged my card around 300€ and tried charging me another 300€ which resulted in my card getting blocked. I have never made ads on google, and they are illegally charging my cards. I am now thinking to have no subscription which includes google. DONT GIVE GOOGLE YOUR CARD INFORMATION

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. I raised a dispute about charges, but instead of helping, they simply insisted the charges were valid without addressing my concerns. The support was dismissive and unhelpful, and I was left feeling ignored.

I asked to escalate the matter to a manager, but the process has been frustrating and slow. This company does not seem to value customer satisfaction or take complaints seriously.

Would not recommend based on my experience.

Obwohl keine signifikante Änderung erfolgt ist, setzte Google Ads mein Konto auf "Durch Gebotsstrategie eingeschränkt". Von normalerweise Klickpreise von 2,50 im Durchschnitt wurden es plötzlich das Doppelte an Klickpreisen. Wenn das Budget an einem Tag nicht aufgebraucht wird, bucht Google Ads dies einfach auf einen neuen Tag um. Heute 15 von 50 EUR verbraucht und morgen 90 EUR, obwohl ein Tagesbudget von 50,00 EUR eingegeben wurde.

Ebenfalls loggte ich mich mit meinem ACC bei Ads ein und auf einmal steht dort alles auf Englisch. An sich kein Problem. Das Problem hierbei ist, dass es sich nicht mehr auf Deutsch umstellen lässt. Absolute Katastrophe !!!!!

They use robots... People from support cant do nothing. All questions without answers. I will try refund money what stuck on their accounts and ban them.

No human support — only automated responses

Refund request ignored for weeks

When my ads underperformed, I reached out to support multiple times, providing campaign IDs, screenshots, and proof of performance issues.
Each time, I received only template replies and was redirected to help pages — no actual resolution.

For a company of Google’s scale, it’s shocking to see this lack of accountability when small business owners and individuals are trusting them with their last financial resources.

I am requesting:

A full refund of $355 USD

Transparent explanation of why the campaigns failed despite following best practices

Real human support for advertisers facing financial losses

If you’re planning to invest in Google Ads, please double-check your budget and be prepared for very limited support when things go wrong.
This experience has left me financially and emotionally drained, and I hope my review warns others before they lose their hard-earned money.

Not sure where to get started

I had a shopify store a year ago which suffered the unending “misrepresentation policy, failed appeal, cool-down period, closed support ticket” loop for Christmas clothing, and couldn’t resolve it before the festive season ended, leaving me unable to run ads or sell anything

I contacted constantly asking for details on what element(s) we’re causing the policy issue, and no one had the brains to respond or give me any information to help me resolve the issue, but they failed to give any information and suspended my account

This month I decided to revisit to resolve and got the exact same treatment of failed appeals and suspended account and lack of help

I resolved the issue myself by deleting my account, creating a new one and starting fresh and this time everything is approved - highlighting Google’s incompetency and lack of consistency and flawed policies

Go to Microsoft and run your ads there - lots of people use bing and customer service is better
