Absolutely abysmall company. Won't allow me to withdraw the money from my own ISA. Doesn't bother themselves respinding to emails, phone calls etc. Stay well away.

Chaotically run company that need to focus on basics.
Now looking to acquire II (Interactive Investors) who are equally as bad and nick named “Incredibly Incompetent” Sounds like a match made in hell and focus could be on warranty claims and certainly not on customer service. Rebrand all you like but a clear customer focus is what is required.

The CEO of ABRDN need to explain why he…
The CEO of ABRDN need to explain why he gives so little value to the shareholders by engaging Equiniti Shareview who are an incompetent company. Maybe he can give some of his fat salary to developing a good shareholder service. Maybe he would like to explain how he feels when we have to hold on to the phone for hours. This has been going on going on for a long time, pre-covid, so don't use this an an excuse.

Awful share registration just lost another small share holder I think that's there plan.Just told to wait to end of conversation

Disappointing
After standard-life has apparently sold, I am a new shareholder and customer at abrdn. I am very dissatisfied. Long processing times, very long queues for callers from Germany. Made very complicated, if you want to get your money.

Truly awful company
Truly awful company. Service is at snails pace at best. They have dragged their heels when dealing with my Aunts will/estate, hiding behind COVID for their inefficiencies.

Lacking ESG (Environmental Governance)
Have 3 different accounts here for my nieces and nephews. Wrote to Aberdeen Standard Investments to cancel all the very bulky company reports I was receiving for their investment trusts held. Received a reply from them stating this currently can not be done and all hard copies of reports must be sent to me. That is X3 the amount required to the same address which go into the bin.
In this day and age of global warming and targeted carbon expenditure I am shocked at Aberdeen Standard Investments lack of accountability by sending hard copy Investment Trust Company reports.
They are lacking Environmental Governance (part of ESG).
This is terrible in the 20th century and investors who are aware of environmental impacts and global warming should think carefully before joining Aberdeen Standard Investments.
