Als persoon in een rolstoel rol je vaak tegen problemen aan, dan is het best prettig als een site is die je hierbij kan helpen.
Ook is het zo’n probleem met de gehandicapte parkeer kaart in Nederland, in Amsterdam is dit na registratie perfect geregeld, waarom kan dit niet in heel Nederland zo geregeld worden?

I first met Josephine in 2020 when I was doing research on Smart Cities and Disability. Not only was she extremely warm and knowledgeable, but I was absolutely blown away by the work she was (and still is!) doing. I have had the pleasure of watching Able Amsterdam grow and I continue to follow Josephine's work. Although I do not have a disability, I used the website to plan my last trip to Amsterdam and found excellent places. The platform is truly an amazing resource, it is usable for all, and it is something other cities can learn from! I am returning to Amsterdam soon and I will be using AbleAmsterdam again to plan my trip. I cannot recommend it enough!

It was an honour to be interviewed by Josephine. As an amputee/ i'm part-time in a wheelchair, I can say Josephine is very knowledgeable, very connected and definitely fighter with a inexhaustible amount of energy and perseverance. As we say in Amsterdam; "Ga sow dóór, Mop!!!"
