Between the new roleplay mode railroading experiences, stripping site features, and forcing predatory anti-consumer practices, and the heavy censorship. There are just far better options out there for less money than what they want for a premium plus membership to unlock everything. If I could refund the next 11 months of the year I signed up for right before they wrecked the site.. I would. Prep for the canned response below. Don't worry, its probably a lie, they have been blatantly ignoring the overwhelming negative feedback over this mode.

Overall the LLM model is good and improving. Candy seems to be trying to incorporate more modularity and control over the chat AI's. I mostly use the chat feature and occasionally the Image generator. Images seems okay, but really could use a negative section to tell the generator what you don't want in the picture or to tell it that it is doing something wrong as right now even changing parameters in the input section can lead to it putting out roughly the same image over and over again with no way to change things like perspective or how zoomed in the image is. They are adding memory to characters at the moment and manual memories, and the new v2.5 LLM seems promising. I would give it a higher rating of the censorship wasn't so suffocating or random in its enforcement and the image generator had a bit more customization to it.. But overall it is getting better and improving regularly. They seem to be trying to listen to their customers for the most part. That in and of itself is encouraging. It is worth a try, No AI companion site is perfect, all of them have weaknesses. Candy is no different, but at least they are actively trying to be better.
