Metronet Customer Service: A Masterclass in Wasting Customers’ Time

Four days without internet and I’m still no closer to an answer from Metronet. I’ve been trying to set up my static IP and every time I speak with someone, they have me repeat the exact same steps I’ve already done with no change in results. I’ve now spent over eight hours on hold just waiting to speak with a representative or get transferred to “the appropriate team.”

The static IP team promises to call back in “15 minutes” but then six hours later I’m still waiting. I’ve spoken with more than seven different reps and still have no idea what’s going on or why my internet is down. Nobody follows up, emails go unanswered, and there’s no way to get back in touch with the person you were originally working with.

Metronet’s internet might be fine when it’s working, but their customer service is a complete nightmare. If you ever have a problem, expect to waste hours of your time and still be left in the dark.
