I attempted to validate my freelance account while physically present in a fully supported region. Surprisingly, the platform rejected my verification process purely based on my passport origin, completely disregarding my actual geographical location.
This approach represents a blatant form of discriminatory practice, where an individual's eligibility is determined by birthplace rather than current residence. Such a policy strikes me as fundamentally unjust and undermines the core principles of equal opportunity. I sincerely hope the platform will reconsider its restrictive approach and instead evaluate users based on their genuine geographic presence and account activity, rather than arbitrary national classifications.
