Worst company ever!!!
Had Mcafee on an HP that was installed at purchase w/3 yrs of service. My HP Computer died 2 yrs later. I then purchased a Dell, again Mcafee came Installed w/ 3yrs of service.
Last week I was charged $150 for 1 yr of service on the HP computer I no longer had. Called customer service, was told that I had 2 accounts w/ the same email address and what I was charged was for the orginal HP I no longer had. The guy told me that the $150 I was charged for was a better product than what I had on my Dell, and I needed to keep it and try to get a refund from Dell. Why would Dell give me a refund for your service? After going back and forth with the guy for 15-20 min. I finally just hung up bc I wasn't getting anywhere with him.
I called back later after I calmed down, spoke with another guy, he was much nicer to begin with. He said that he needed to log I to my computer to remove the program before he could give me a refund. Stupidly I allowed it, next thing I know he is running scans telling me I needed to do xyz. I told him he was doing thing I did not authorize him to do and he needed to disconnect from my system, he finally did.
Worst customer service ever!!!
