I have $10,000 x2 funded accounts with Equity Edge. On one I had a total profit of $899 and when I requested withdrawal 3 weeks ago, they requested for a risk interview. Same interview I did with them also when I requested for a withdrawal 2 months ago. I had no choice and I scheduled the interview hoping they just wanted to use it to delay the payout but will eventually pay like they did 2 months ago. On the day of the interview, the interviewer insisted I tell him all the assets I traded on the account without looking at the account. I listed the ones I could remember as it has been over 1 week since I looked at the account at the time, because after withdrawal is requested the account goes inactive until the payout is processed so I had no need looking at the account and I have other accounts I trade so I definitely can't be 100% certain on what particular instrument I traded last like he was insisting. I just called the few I remembered and the next thing he asked me to sign into my discord app on my laptop and I told him the app has been on my phone so I can't remember the password since it has remained signed in on my for over a year. I tried to do what he said by trying to sign in my discord on my laptop where the interview was being done, and because I missed the password he immediately ended the interview and said I wasn't the one trading my forex account. Like, I don't even understand how my discord account has any connection or concern with my Equity Edge trading account. Just doesn't make any sense so obviously they were looking for a reason not to pay my money. As you can see from the screenshots on one account they already withdrew the profits of $899 but refused to credit me. On the other account I still have my profit of $1,219 which I was supposed to withdraw last week but they have blocked my access to the dashboard and to the accounts. They reached out to me on whatsapp call few days ago and telling me they want to refund the $25 I used in purchasing the account. How does that even make any sense? I have all the proofs attached.

Imagine Equity Edge reaching out to me that they want to refund me the $25 I spent in purchasing the account. Can you imagine the nonsense? An account I spent weeks trading on to pass challenge phases and I have made $2,119 on funded phase. Are these guys serious? How dubious and fraudulent can a prop firm be?

It's been over a week now and Equity Edge still hasn't replied my email. They haven't said anything about the profits in my accounts before they blocked me. I have a total of about $2,119 in 2 different accounts and they blocked me after their so-called risk interview all because I don't remember my discord password. How does my personal discord account relate to Equity Edge account? Do they even have the right to ask me to login to discord account for them? I'm finalizing things with my attorney. I'm definitely taking this to the appropriate authorities in the UK. Companies like this shouldn't be allowed to continue to scam people.

Equity Edge has finally proven to be a scam. I requested a payout last week and they demanded that I have to do a compulsory risk interview. Same risk interview I did with them 2 months ago before they agreed to pay me. Little did I know this time around they are just looking for a way to push me out. The interviewer asked me to login my discord account on my laptop where I do my trade and I told him I don't remember my discord password but I have it already logged in my phone and it has been like that for a long time. Instantly he ended the interview and next minute Equity Edge sent a message saying I didn't pass the risk interview and for that they are cancelling my profile. Right now I cannot access all my accounts with profits in them. I have written to them about the profits in my account and they have refused to reply. KEEP OFF GUYS.

It's really disappointing that Equity Edge now seem to be enjoying me calling them out before they do the right thing. At this point I don't know if the company is really ingenuine or if the people working in the risk department handling account review just don't know their jobs.

Equity Edge has what they call ALL DAY NEWS RULE. According to the information in their FAQ on their website, the rule states and I quote, "If your trade is executed during an all-day high impact news event, any profits generated from such trades should not exceed 25% of your profit target as it would then be considered a breach of the Equity Edge Analytics challenge."

Now, I have a $10k account and my profit target is $800. On April 30th which had an ALL-DAY high impact news, I took 3 orders, I won the 1st trade and made $168, lost the 2nd trade with -$205 and won the 3rd and last trade with $145. Now with all of these 3 trades my total profit for that day was $108 which is less than 25% of $800 based on the rule. I went ahead to make more profits the following day and passed phase 1. Also passed phase 2. While waiting to get my LIVE account, I received an email from EE saying I breached the ALL-DAY news rule. I was surprised to hear that so I reached out to their support team and they said, when they calculate profits for the news rule they don't include the losing trades. So according to them, they only want to calculate the winning trades of April 30th which are $168 and $145 to get a total of $313 which will be higher than 25% of the $800 so they can breach the account using that rule.

My question now is, who calculates the profit of the day without including losing positions? Even if that is what they insist on making as their rule, it won't be an issue but at least it has to be clearly state on their FAQ. It is totally unacceptable that you have a different or incomplete information on your site and you are breaching my account based on that, by adding up a clause that you don't include losing position when calculating for that rule. This really doesn't make any sense to me. And I'm really beginning to get weary of this company. Up till now they have refused to issue me the LIVE account and still insisting my account remains breached. I hope someone from their team sees and take this to their head or anyone in their team who understands their rules better and know how to apply it because I strongly feel this is an error from the risk/review department. I already took screenshot of the rule in their website just in case they later go to edit it and add "excluding losing trades" to the rules. I mean, I have no problem if they choose to later add that for clarification but for now it is totally wrong for them to use that to breach anyone's account.

LATEST UPDATE!

Well, after exactly 3 weeks the issue is finally sorted. I guess they checked thoroughly and nothing wrong was seen so they had no choice than release my 4th withdrawal. Thank you EE but please let's not do this again. Your agreement says within 3 to 5 working days payout will be processed. Keep to your words always so traders can continue to trust you. Once again, thank you.




UPDATE!
By tomorrow it will be exactly 3 weeks since after I made a request for my 4th payout which is supposed to be my biggest payout with EE and EE has not been able to pay me. They keep saying I should be patient that they are doing final checks. I don't know of any other prop firm that takes 3 weeks to process a withdrawal, this is highly disappointing. To think I was beginning to really trust them.



After a successful 3rd withdrawal on my $10k account I decided to upgrade to $50k and today I received my $50k funded account after successfully passing phase 1 and 2 last week. Ashraf thank you so much for fast tracking the release of the contract.

My funded account has just been released. All thanks to Ashraf Hardy who through his help the risk team has to review my case and made the necessary correction. They actually breached my account wrongly on the ground of trading against the gamble rule but open a second review obviously showing all my trades had SL in place they changed the decision and issued me my account. So guys this is me saying the risk team are actually humans like us and are bound to make errors but what is more important is that if you are able to prove your case they will always make a u-turn and do the right thing.
