Bend over

Bend over, drop your trousers, prepared to get shafted. Prices are going up, and there's no avoiding it. I'm on the cheapest tariff, Uswitch said stay put, so I'm staying put, and my annual bill is over double what it was. Eon doesn't give as much usage info as nPower used to. No app, nothing, but had no choice. Eon is ok. It's the cheapest, but it ain't cheap! Good luck out there.

At the moment wholesale prices are at an all time high and the current global climate has caused a lot of uncertainty around energy costs which has led to wholesale prices increasing so glad to hear you've been able to stay with us on the best tariff available.

Certainly appreciate where you are coming from regarding usage information, it is something we are working to improve and deliver a better view of to our customers in the near future, so watch this space :)

Sales games, and not great work, but ok.

Safestyle contact you after your windows have been fitted, and ask you if you’re happy, if yes, THEN they ask you to leave a positive review, and offer an incentive. I found their sales technique a bit patronising. The incentive of being used as a ‘case study’, or the call to the area manager to see if it’s possible. The second time I got them in, I just told them what I was going to pay, take it or leave it. They still prob made money out of it.

Removing and replacing old wooden sash windows, they just fill the gaps with foam, then cover the gaps (and any damage to plaster) with strips of pvc. Really basic work for the money. The sound proofing is not really good at all, we hear people talking as they walk past.
We went with them, as they are a large company and would, in theory, stand by their 10 year guarantee.
Too expensive for what it is though.
