Shocking customer service from Booking.com

So recently I had planned a trip to Turkey. I've used booking.com previously in the past and not really had any problems but what I have noticed is, when you need to get hold of anyone in customer services it is extremely poor and the responses take quite some time. This is the first time I had visited Turkey so I had pre-booked my transfers as a return journey seemed to go all well until I actually arrived at my destination and the pickup point. They confirmed I had a booking and then literally within five minutes later I had a message saying your ride has been cancelled because of time. The tour team were of no help whatsoever they just told me to get hold of Booking.com which I managed to get hold of that evening. I sent a message to customer service and support because I had booked a return journey and I didn't know if my second part of my journey was to be honoured either ? It literally a few days for anyone to respond to me I had to eventually cancel my booking completely because I didn't know if my return journey was still valid but their customer service and support is absolutely useless there's no time constraints there's no urgency there's nothing really so it's opened my eyes and I really wouldn't bother going down that route again, trying to get hold of someone to ask them a question . It was a shame because I had a three night trip book for my anniversary and the stress that they caused me in the beginning was so much it really put a dampener on my trip Booking.com however were quite useless in there response and still took a while and in fact I'm still waiting for a good resolution and a response. Just keep that in mind if you ever need to get anything done with booking.com or ask a question, the response you're gonna get is going to take quite some time and it will most probably be highly inadequate so just beware !

Spot on service guys

Had a great experience. Made an enquiry and they booked an engineer to inspect the property very quickly. From start to finish was about 8 days ! professional team did a great install and very happy overall. Thanks

What a conversation. Value downloaded !

What a conversation we've had so far. 100% genuine individual that pushes you to become a better version of yourself. No ifs or buts
Had a few conversations and rare to find people of this calibre who really want nothing in return .
No matter where my journey goes in the future , inherant value has already be received.

What a comfortable experience so far !

Met the guys at the Business show and really loved the level of knowledge, expertise and humility they had towards each and every individual they interacted with. I have spoken to Sukhi on a 1 to one basis and he is the real deal with a bucket load of credentials to back him up. Looking forward to many more interaction moving forward. Onward & Upwards !

DFS shocking customer service, Lies and poor quality

So after having great service from the sales guy in Ruislip DFS, It went downhill immediately after we eventually got our sofa delivered very late.

Upon delivery we noticed that the leather did not sit flat on the sofa or stool and called out an engineer pretty much immediately to assess the issue. The first engineer that came out saw the issue right away and concluded that there was no where for the leather to actually go, even if it were to be smoothed across and said that he would report this back , after which we heard nothing from anyone for weeks. We contacted customer service on several occasions from where I was advised that a manager would get back to me, and still nothing over a period of many weeks. Failing this and now very frustrated, we went into the branch to discuss and got another engineer booked out , who came out and assessed the sofa and stool.
Now the issue we have here, This engineer also agreed that he saw what we meant about the problem with the leather not sitting right YET he advised us that this is within tolerance and his report would say that too ? Tolerance of what ? tolerance from where ?
When making this purchase, we were not advised that leather would need to be smoothed out to maintain it and would have a level of tolerance within the leather itself , yet on our hunt for a sofa, we looked at fabric ones and were told that they would require a level of maintenance ,which is why we opted for leather instead, ie no visible maintenance required . We have had leather sofas for over 20 years without any of these issues that have been mentioned.

A 3rd engineer came for another issue and also agreed with what we said and was utterly shocked to learn that the sofa was only a few months old, he thought was over a year at least !
We now have a sofa that looks considerably older than a few months due to these issues . It looks a fitted sheet .
You have engineers that verbally have agreed with us on both occasions, yet said this is meant to happen , or filled a report stating something different.

If this was the case from the beginning, we would have not made this purchase and looked elsewhere.

You have no articles displayed , nor were we directed to any that would lay out the processes, expectations or maintenance that would be required prior to making a purchase , which goes against the principles of TCF, treating customers fairly, as we have clearly not been during this process. This item would also fall within not being fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality . Had we been made aware of this, we would have not bought this item.
We have now filled a complaint with the Ombudsman as we seem to get nowhere with DFS and will take this as far as possible

Where should I start, It's long but worth if you have a business website.

I have been a customer of Godaddy since 2013 without too many issues. Might be because I've not really utilized my products as much as I could have.
Now I have had my company website running via a Wordpress package for the past couple of years. Within the last few months, I've been noticing more errors, time offline etc. Its been causing all kinds of issues to me having this downtime.
You can only truly judge a company on how good they are, and how they deal and resolve problems when they arise, what mechanisms they have in place to support their customers as any good organisation should have. I spoke to the customer svc team on many occasions and they've always been good generally BUT the last few times , being offline has been causing me major problems.
I was getting put offline more and was told that there was an Issue from Godaddy with hosting space etc and They're working on it . no firm dates, times for a solution.
Please note that my site is an e-comm subscription based website and my ONLY source of business now. I was told that I can upgrade my plan but would need to pay for migration even though they know it's an issue on their side which can take upto 10 days ! and that's it.
I put in a complaint email and on the 9th Sept and spoke to someone at the end of the month. During this period again , my site had come offline.
During this period too, I had developers working on the site who were having major problems updating custom code work, and uploads that should have taken 30 mins or so, spanned over days with more cost and no website either, they were also onto Godaddy tech support and got fed up. My site disappeared yet again and this time so did the backup restore points ? functions that I had just been using and have used on a regaular basis, meaning that all the work that I had paid for, custom code and customer accounts had also gone ! My site reverted back to a version from August ?! when I had used this feature a few days prior and it worked and I had no issues. There has been error after error and I have lost out on so much time and business etc. My business was falling off a cliff YET Godaddy did not have the empathy or customer support to respond with a reasonable and timely solution for all my lost time and revenue . There are still errors occurring with them but I've completely lost the will to carry on chasing them, Hence this write up and further action that I'll be taking. If you have a business that relies 247 on being online, an ecom site etc
AVOID GODADDY LIKE THE PLAGUE . Small businesses have it hard enough without organisations like Godaddy making it 10 times harder.
Please look elsewhere for your web support etc.
I will do my upmost to raise awareness so other businesses do not face such a diabolical situation.
