Good products, messy returns and absent customer service
The products were good and arrived within the timeframe they were promised.
I was looking for jacket and accessories for a wedding. Unfortunately, none of the items were suitable for my needs so they have had to be returned. Each in a separate parcel, to a separate supplier, which was a faff. Most of them, I worked through the process from the paperwork provided, but one item came with zero paperwork. I went online and tried to follow the process, but was struggling. I couldn't find a way of contacting customer services, so I chose to make contact through Facebook and sent my message....it soon became apparent I was chatting to a bot, but once the bot gave up, it assured me I was being transferred to the next available agent...and to be patient....so I was...fast forward over 24 hours and eventually my query was picked up by Kai...this is the biggest positive in my story as I was coached through my problems until I had a solution, so I can't fault the service I was given once I received it, but I'm not sure that I can overlook the 24hour+ wait
All in all, I would not shop from Debenhams online again...I'll stick to Next who have this sorted
