The Old Plough, Seaford

Just visited the Old Plough public house, Seaford for sunday dinner on the way home from Brighton, post Christmas shopping. Ordered two different roast dinners, that arrive within 10 minutes of ordering. On arrival they looked very nice, until noticing vegetables were raw and the rest of the dinner was cold. Staff on site were not interested as the oldest was probably in their early 20's. With that in mind I am warning other customers to avoid food late afternoon/early evening as in my opinion it is going to be reheated in a microwave oven, assuming g the staff understand how the microwave works and about food hygiene.

EV charger instalation.

The electrician turned up at the precise time stated in the appointment to install my ev charger point. He was helpful and explained every thin in detail throughout the instalation and when completed.

Neff Slide & Hide Oven

I bought a NEFF hide and slide steam oven four years ago thinking this was the make to buy for quality and durability. However since, the guarentee has run out we have had the door fall off three times because the plastic track that holds the door in place break (it has become obvious to me that this is a design fault) the heat seal has had to be replaced due to wear from the hide and slide door (There are only two of us who only use the oven occaisonally) and a glass panel has come unstuck fron a bracket in the door which we had to have an engineer come an restick. I had a Belling oven before that cost less than half the price and was in full working order when we replaced it with this rubbish, because of the design fault we were with out an oven over Christmas. If you want my advice buy a much cheaper oven that is simpler in design and cheaper to fix or replace.

plusnet review part two

Since my initial review, I have received an apology from plusnet, asking me to contact them via Facebook or twitter, unfortunately I do not use any social media platforms, so thats no help. Two complaints made now since last Monday as WiFi still dropping regularly whereas talk talk WiFi was fine, I must admit the open reach engineer called and repaired a fault in the green box down the road "that was caused when switchover took place" , however WiFi still A major problem. Since joining I have read the plusnet forums and note that there are lots of people moaning about the plusnet router and the WiFi dropping.Joined plusnet on Monday after four years satisfactory service from talk talk. Since Monday we only get WiFi for a couple of minutes after restarting the router and then we have to restart it again several minutes later. I phoned to complain on Thursday and spoke to a rep who told me there was a fault on the line and arranged for openreach to call Saturday. I asked why there was a fault now, even though it was fine until plusnet took over, but the rep couldn't answer as she was reading from a script. I, like others, have to work from home but struggled this week as the Internet keeps dropping and the WiFi doesn't work. So if you have any sense go to another provider, I wished I had stayed with talktalk now. Worth it at twice the price!

Better late than never.

After a traumatic experience of my aquarium filter going missing at the Royal mail sorting office and difficulty contacting customer services to find out where it was. Allpondsolutions came good and my new filter turned up as promised, three days later. Thank you allponsolutions.

Be careful parting with your money

Be careful parting with your money. Booked a holiday last July. Great experience booking online, until you find the return flight does't exist, then if you can get through to customer service they wash their hands of you and tell you to negotiate with the airline who wont talk to you and send you back to loveholidays who booked the flight. After weeks of trying to ge through. I was promised a refund on their chat line by a customer support person, In the end I had to book my own return flight for my wife and I. January 2021 and still no refund for flight, so make sure the flights exist before parting with your money. It is now 23-02-2021 and even though loveholidays replied to this review promising a refund of the flight, we have not heard another word since. So once again dont get carried away booking a holiday with them just because there is light at the end of the tunnel. Keep hold of your money or use a more reputable company
