Not Worth It

The show was somewhat entertaining, however confusing. But the "Amazing Meal" promised (chicken dinner) was truthfullu inedible. I don't know who was responsible, The show staff or the hotel. Breaded chicken cutlet with raw breading, covered with white goo that looked like school glue, gummy risotto (or whatever it was, I couldnt tell) and unseasoned, boiled vegetables. Chocolate cake was a square Hostess cake. I inquired if I could exchange my dinner (the salmon looked unseasoned, but edible), they said I'd have to pay for the plate. I already paid $65 to go to the event. Rude and inhospitable!

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY. If you read the posts about it on Reddit, wow. So many people are unhappy with the product, but even more are complaining about their "shady business practices!" Oh, I definitely agree. Their payment page will charge your card TWICE (actually it charged two of my cards twice for one order).
And if you want to cancel your order (before it's shipped, before the payment finishes processing), they will tell you they CANT CANCEL it because, "our system is automated, I'll have to raise the issue, but I can't make any promises." Their chat agent's EXACT WORDS. Thats BS!! I'm disputing it with my bank. One person said they contacted her two separate times demanding more money (because she used a promo code on a sale priced item, which is fair if their payments page accepts it).
Furthermore, so many people are saying that they delete all negative comments from their Facebook page and ads and then block anyone posting them. That's why you see all glowing reviews and comments.
You've been warned!!!

Im sorry you feel you have had a bad experience but we do not control the back end of our processing of credit cards; no company does. All websites have a standard operating system that is not owned or operated by the company. Hence, Sistaco has no ability to charge your credit card twice as we do not control how the processing of credit cards functions. Also that operating system cannot physically charge two cards without you entering two lots of details so not sure how that could occur. There is no way to cancel an order before it is finished processing because, as you state, it is not processed yet, so just log out. Gift cards cannot be used at the same time as a sale; as if we are 30% off sitewide and a customer uses that to purchase a gift card at 30% off and then uses the Gift card to buy in the 30% off sale, that would then be 60% off. We have certainly never contacted anyone demanding more money.

Our Facebook Group has over 140K customers that happily post exciting photos of their nails daily; we have an excellent product and work very hard in this small business. THEY DO NOT REPLY TO CUSTOMER SERVICE MESSAGES. THEY DO NOT PAY RETURN SHIPPING

It took 3 weeks to receive my order. One necklace was the wrong thickness, and looks very cheap and junky, although the rest of the pieces looked fine. Two necklaces came with metal end tags on the extender, which is good, but one was marked K18 and the other said STEEL even though they were both supposed to be 18k plated. One necklace did not have a tag, so the extender chain snagged and broke. They do NOT pay for return shipping on exchanges, even if the mistake is theirs.
I submitted my email and phone number for a promo code which they never sent, yet I get spammed with daily automated sales emails. But when it comes to responding to customer service emails...THEY NEVER RESPOND. I have submitted messages via their website "contact us" page several times. No response. I emailed to their published email address which bounced back as "no such address." I have another order in my cart, but I hesitate to submit payment.

No Lessons, Only Error Messages

You can only access lessons on a phone app. Nothing on computer. Lessons are AI and it never worked. I paid for Premium and I have no access to any lessons at all. AI only gives me error messages. Not worth the trouble.

AAA Canceled Me For Using Benefits

I have been paying for AAA road service for 50 years. I just got a letter of non-renewal. They are canceling me for using the full amount of benefits I'm entitled to under my Premiere membership and for which I paid.

Some Cons, but some Pros

I am not giving Sun basket five stars because of their problems with their system or software in skipping shipments and preventing unwanted charges. Even though I skipped shipments I still got the box and got charged. I called their customer service and THEY skipped up to 6 weeks for me, but I still got the box and still got charged. However, they were nice enough to give me refunds on all unwanted shipments. Therefore I'm not giving them one star either.

It is easy to reach there customer service. I just Google "Call Sun basket customer service" and the number comes right up. I do have problems that their phone app does not work successfully for skipping shipments. I use an Android phone and Chrome, but it still doesn't permanently skip a shipment.

As far as the food goes, there is some good and some bad. Usually, the fresh parsley or cilantro is wilted and dead by the time I get it, however the other vegetables are fresh. The chicken and fish are good, but stay away from the ground turkey, it looks like pink sludge. It made me vomit on sight the first time I got it. Some of the recipes are extremely tasty and wonderful, but every now and then we hit one where we just have to scrape it off the plate into the trash without eating it. So there are some hits and some misses. Their website does allow you to rate the meals. And so I usually rate them and also describe what I did to improve the meal. They obviously don't know how to make meatballs properly. So, being Italian, I use my own recipe for meatballs. Some of the spice blends are actually too bland, and I have to add my own herbs and spices to ramp it up sufficiently. They tell you to use an awful lot of salt and pepper. I avoid using salt for dietary reasons. Also, I am getting tired of having every recipe pan-fried in oil. I wonder why they can't come up with anything broiled, baked, stewed, or steamed? On the plus side, they are the only meal box service I found that offers organic fruits and vegetables and organic meats and fish. They are the only company that makes vegetarian meals which contain sufficient amounts of protein. I have researched this in-depth, looking at other companies' recipes and found their vegan and vegetarian meals lacking in protein, sometimes completely. So, this is why I give Sun Basket 3 stars. There are some cons but some pros.
