Excellent company

Excellent company. Great communication. Allocated instructor had great communication skills. Pass first time with only 3 minors after a 20 hour course.
Highly reccomend

I saw Adam Stott on tiktok and decided…

I saw Adam Stott on tiktok and decided to join a free seminar to help my small business with social media marketing.

The seminar was a selling tactic to make you enrol in their program and stupid me fell for it. After being told there’s a 100% money back guarantee I thought this has got to be good.

I paid the first instalment and after spending the rest of my Saturday listening to the seminar I realised the whole this was just some sort of glorified pyramid scheme.

I contacted big business events by email the day after and advised I would like to cancel my payment plan as I have changed my mind (under the consumer credit act for payment plans I have every right to cancel within 14 days). I did not receive any response, I then emailed around 5 or 6 times over several days, again NO response whatsoever!

I ended up having to jump through hoops and do a charge back with my bank.

Absolute horrible experience and if this review can help someone else I hope it does.

They sell you this dream but trust me, you can get that dream yourself without these cowboys!

Never Again

We have used Villa Plus many times and have most likely previously rated them 5* so did not hesitate to use them again.
What a mistake, I wish I read their most recent reviews before I did.

Firstly I did notice their site no longer offers flights or ‘package’ holidays but it wasn’t an issue as I could book these separately, now I know the reason and that is you have NOTHING to fall back on in the event that government / travel rules change and for my family this has cost us £3.2k of hard earned money.

Our family holiday included two teens who are not eligible for the vaccine in the UK however Spanish government decided to stop accepting a negative PCR and wants all 12-15 year olds fully jabbed before entry.

After speaking with Jet2 and Villa plus the difference in response was mind blowing. Jet2 could do nothing more to help offering free amendment or full refund, Villa Plus on the other hand just responded in a blasé textbook way I have been seeing in other peoples review responses.

‘We have a commitment to our Villa owners’.. what about the commitment your customers??
We didn’t even want a refund and I am pretty sure 3 weeks before we were due travel Villa plus would have highly likely been able to resell our Villa on New Years Eve or even try but no, nothing.

‘We sympathise’.. No you don’t, there was no attempt at all to offer any resolution.

BEWARE if you decide to use this company and be prepared to lose your money as their terms and conditions are worded very sneaky indeed!

Terrible way to do business and I know myself along with many others will never use again! Absolutely no loyalty at all to it’s regular customers.

We are very sorry to note you have been affected by the changes to the Spanish entry requirements, we fully understand your frustration.

Coronavirus remains to be an unpredictable and complex situation across the globe, therefore we have extensive Booking Conditions and a Coronavirus FAQ which are available on our website which detail the vast examples in which we can and will help our customers.

Explained states If Villa Plus can still provide the villa in your booked destination, then we would not issue any refund as your legal contract with us can be fulfilled. As an accommodation only booking, if there are any restrictions on your travel to/from the villa or if there are quarantine requirements upon your return to the UK, your right to a full refund is only available when Villa Plus is not able to provide your villa accommodation as booked.

We really do empathise greatly for those customers who are currently unable to travel due to the recent entry restrictions, however please note this is something introduced by the Spanish government and completely out of Villa Plus’s control.

We want to stress the importance of how much we care about our customers and how we would love to be more flexible - but we are business, we do have commitments to our suppliers (being our Villa Owners) and they will be paid in full where a villa can be provided as booked. We’re very sorry but as you were due to depart so soon, an amendment was in line with our cancellation terms and we are unable to waive these charges.

In any scenario our experienced Travel Team will offer honest, clear and correct advice. We would like to add that Villa Plus stopped selling flight inclusive package holidays in October 2020 as a result of some low cost airlines blocking third parties, including Villa Plus, from offering their flights to its customers. This is not the reason why you are not eligible for a refund.

We are sorry that you have been affected and remain available to discuss your booking further, should you wish to do so.
