They cancelled my booking the day…

They cancelled my booking the day before because my card provider declined payment for some reason. Sent me a mail that I did not see. Would have expected someone to call me in this case. Now left with trying to find somewhere else the day I am travelling. Customer service would not help. Use Expedia instead!

Lack of service after gas leak

Lack of service from Calor when your gas bottle leaks!! I’ve had mine sitting in my garden for close to 2 months after an emergency gas leak engineer found the valve was leaking (it was only purchased a week or so before), put a yellow warning sticker on it and told me not to use it and would be replaced in the next week by the local depot. Called them to report that not picked up and they told me the case had been closed for some reason, then said they would call me back and not heard anything. Very poor service for what is most ultimately a safety issue!!! Forget the fact I’ve not been able to use my BBQ!!

Update: Well my review seemed to have prompted some action, they came to pick up and replace my cylinder today after it sitting on my lawn for nearly 2 months!! No summer bbqs had my me and no offer of any compensation for the utter inconvenience and lack of customer support on their part. Poor show! Would use another gas cylinder provider if I was you, I certainly will be in future.

Resin drive with unsightly join has been resolved

Further Review Update: I have had a world of pain with this company. The drive has had problem after problem. My experience, similar to others in here in here that have hit a problem is they do not care about customers. If you have a problem do not expect to get a call back anytime soon. I ended up having to get dislike a post om tgeir facebook page and then got hokd of the MD. I had the drive finally relayed over the old one and now have the most ugly rust marks all over the drive. I have been told that this is unlucky! It doesn't happen very often apparently. But it's my problem!! They did after a painful back and forth and deflection of responsibility agree to come back and sand blast them. This made it look nice again for all of 5 minutes only the rust marks came back bigger and blacker. There are literally over 100 on my drive, black, the size of tennis balls. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! I phoned 2 other reputable resin drive companies and they told me they have only experienced this a few times but would endeavour to rectify the problem if that meant ripping the driveway up again.....say no more. I'm tired and exhausted of dealing with resin drives and now looking at trading standards and small claims court. If I could post pictures of my drive on here then I would, to help other customers make an informed decision. It's how a company deals with issues that counts. It will cost me more than £8000 to have the drive done and now looking to have the drive ripped up and relayed by someone else. Also they are not local to myself so I would make sure you use a company with a local office
Review update: resin drives have now resolved the issue I had with my drive. The MD came to visit and agreed to relay my drive. Unsightly join line has now gone and my drive looks beautiful. Thank you! I will try to put a like on their Facebook page if you want to find the images of my driveway to see fit yourself!

I was convinced by resindrives sales guy that I should go with their quote over another companies because they have the most experience laying resin drives and offer an insurance backed guarantee and would get the 'A-Team' on the job as my drive would be used to promote them in the local area. I was persuaded even though resin drives were charging £500 more. I was told this was because the UV resin was required and was more expensive.

However, in my opinion the job was rushed. They ran out of materials on the day of laying and as a result had to lay over 2 days leaving an extremely unsightly join that seems to be getting more visible with time. There are trowel marks left on the surface. UV resin was not used - the surface has a very light strip along the front of the garage where I assume it is not getting so much light and light patchy areas are developing. My subsequent concerns are not being addressed by Resindrives. They tried to fob me off by telling me the UV resin is no more expensive (in which case the sales guy lied to me). Resindrives have not shown anyone in my area the drive...I guess because of the issues I mention. All in all not happy with them and would certainly not recommend. Rushed job and an unsightly join that I did not pay for and completely spoils it for me!!!! Thanks not very much Resindrives for spoiling my dream drive that I will have to look at for the next 10 years or more. Poor show.
UPDATE ON REPLY: I had without doubt ordered UV resin on the original order. I requested a different stone subsequently. If this resulted in UV resin being removed then this certainly wasn't made clear to me. The stone was in the same price category that you presented me. I have sent an email to resin drives a week or so ago and as yet I have heard nothing. I have also sent an email this morning with an image of the visible join line. I am leaving this review purely from my frustration of being given an unsightly join in my resin drive that is becoming more visible. I didn't ask for it. It makes my drive instantly feel industrial. I am reminded of it every morning I step on my drive. It's such a shame that I feel like this after spending so much money you couldn't have prevented this by ensuring sufficient materials were delivered.

BE VERY AWARE: it looks like there may be many satisfied customers but if you are one that isn't, even for good reason then although resindives say in their sales pitch that they take customer issues very seriously, they DO NOT TAKE CUSTOMER ISSUES SERIOUSLY. I have read another 1 star review which stated that resin drives said they would send someone out but didn't. This is what I have experienced also. Don't pay top dollar for a company that does not deliver the standards they promise or you may be utterly dusappointed like me! If you want an unnecessary join and you dont mind lots of ridges in the laying then go for it!

Another update:
Finally they sent someone over to take a look at my unsightly join in my drive. They told me I should have been more clear that this was bothering me when I first had the drive laid and they would have considered replacing it. In all honesty I couldn't have been more clear and the crack wasn't do visible at that time. Instead they asked if I would make a contribution to relaying the drive. I told them that they were the ones that shouldn't have laid my drive over 2 days. The sales guy promised me it would be laid perfectly. I subsequently spoke to the partner who promised he would review and call me back the next day. It has now gone quiet again. The mark of a good company is surely how they choose to deal with customers that are not happy with the quality of the work that they paid good money for!

On this occasion we do feel that the time scales to lay your driveway were not rushed and well within our normal working practises.

we would also respectfully request that you check back on the contract signed by yourself for the type of resin used, as we are showing your choice being our standard and not UVR Resin to be used.

We are still very sensitive to the fact you feel we have fallen short on this occasion and we would still like to speak with you regarding the other points you have brought up in your review and ask you call our Customer Care Manager Edward to resolve these issues.
