Deceptive marketing.

They sell a 1000GB sim and an UNLIMITED sim. which are identical, the UNLIMITED sim has a 1000gb fair use policy cap, the data is cut at 1000gb and not merely restricted as one would assume. Why market identical sims under two different names.

No easy way to cancel renew or payment details

Its unacceptable to have no way to delete payment details or cancel renew on the website. Its predatory and wrong. Dont try justify it under the guise of "we want you to always be always protected" That is for me to decide, not the AA.

The only way is via a convoluted form, which has no feedback when its successful. Or to ring.

Mixed support

Update: Since leaving the negative review support has been some of the best I've ever received from any company. They offered a refund and pair of filters. Its a shame it was not existent for 5 days prior. I need to add i didn't use phone support but email because I'm hard of hearing.

Original review: 5 days no reply to support emails. First i asked to cancel as their description of the item was misleading. No response. I then sent another email asking to return, no response. I gave up, i just opened the parcel only to find the gas mask cartridge inside had been has already been previously opened? Im not accepting a previously opened gas mask filter.

Warm humid odorous environment in the…

Warm humid odorous environment in the early mornings 2-4am. Im guessing they have started switching the HVAC off at night to save money. I find the environment intolerable and have now had to quit. Will this gym ever be cool and fresh in the early mornings like it used to be?

We would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused. We would like to assure you that we are reviewing feedback and will ensure this is addressed in club. Temperatures/air con in our gyms are automatically regulated by Smart machines, but if there is a persistent issue staff may be able to override it and can certainly report it to be checked by engineers.

In breach of consumer rights act. Angry ill informed manager.

I bought two identical items from the Redditch store On Saturday 7th January at 13:29, I discovered were cracked when i got home. I returned to the store to discovered 90% on the store shelf were also cracked. I proceeded to customer service with two intact ones and asked for exchange. The manager refused because i had lost my receipt. I told him according to the consumer rights act a bank statement was sufficient. I showed him the statement. The manager still refused the exchange saying in need a receipt. I told him he was incorrect and we started arguing and shouting at each other. The facts are: Im on CCTV buying the things on the date and time of the my transaction on the bank statement. The till receipt will match my statement. I cannot believe a manager of a store doesn't know the consumers rights? I was also shocked he would kick up suck a fuss and get so angry over two broken £3 items. There is a shelf full of the same broken items for god sake, it doesn't take Einstein to release yes im probably telling the truth, even without my evidence

Can a more informed member of staff please help me exchange these or refund. Thank you. I emailed the details to Hello at therange couk

UPDATE 1: Judy are you being serious??? Did you even bother to read my review? You apologise about the poor customer support, then ignore my review and offer more poor customer support. Unbelievable.

As these items were purchased in store we can only advise to return the items to one of our stores with the receipt for a refund or replacement.

Worst customer service of any store

Worst customer service of any store i use. I used the Bromsgrove branch, but the Kings Norton one is nearly as bad.

Click and collect orders are never picked before you arrive, so it takes FOREVER to get served. They often call me up pretending a part is ready to collect, only to arrive and be told it will be in tomorrow. They never apologise, just give you blank stare. Why bloody phone me telling me its in when it isn't? for a laugh? Even when there is no queue there is never anyone at the front desk, you can be there 10 minutes waiting for staff to show up.

Then there is the stupid pricing policy with the silly endless codes, which means when they get it wrong (They often do) You cant change your order unless you are willing to pay double the RRP. Staff even advise you to go order online and then return. BUT IM ALREADY HERE! What is this nonsense???? I cant stand this company. I vow never to use them again, ive wasted countless hours being messed about.

Misleading stock level

Misleading stock levels. This has happened to me 10 times in last year. You request same day collection at a local, instead you get an email stating they have ordered one in for delivery to the store at a future date. Dont accept my order if you dont have the item. Or at least contact me apologising and ask what id like to do.

No doubt they will blame covid. Covid has been a thing for over a year now. Thers no excuse to show 20 items in stock when there are 0.

Predatory autorenewal and huge price increases for existing customers.

Auto renew is on by default, and they make you contact support to opt out. Very predatory.

They have also emailed me raising the price just before renewal to £63.44 a year. So they would have attempted to take £126.88 for 2 years, whereas before it was £38.16 for two years. Shocking behaviour!!!

As to the below response. Its by design. I notice you have a "turn on auto renewal option" If fact i get a pop up begging me to opt back in every time i open surfshark. They are indeed sharks.

2 weeks and counting for a refund.

Ordered an item in error on 18th March for collection at Birmingham branch. Contacted 18th March via email asking for a refund. Its now 31st, still no reply. Contacted by phone on 26th told they would refund. Still waiting. Live chat doesn't work. How do i get a refund?

No stock & no refunds!!!!

They have lied and have stolen my money. The online stock numbers are incorrect. They only had half the items i had paid for. I was told to contact support for a refund as the store couldn't do it. So I did, the live chat guy Richard seemed to not know what to do, but said it would sort this for me and email me. I got nothing. A first it reflected on there website i had only taken 2 of the 4 items. The next morning it was updated to say i collected all 4 items!!! I contacted Neil at live support, after pretending to try help he admitted live support cant process refunds. Proving i was lied to the day before. Im really hoping Paypal resolution centre will help.

I love this company

I love this company. HUGE selection, plenty of stock, and their free delivery is amazing. I honestly dont know how they manage to deliver things so fast half them time, Even on Saturdays. Thank you RS!

Same as before poor packaged

Same as before poor packaged, arrived damaged will they ever learn?

Bought a £270 graphics card from them.

Came in no box and just wrapped in bubble wrap. Once unwrapped, i released no anti static bag had been used. Put it in my pc and visual artifacts even on boot fgs. Do they even test them?

CEX please for the love of god sort you packaging procedure out. Things never arrived adequately wrapped. Ive had laptops arrived smashed because again they just arrived in bubble wrap.

Anyway, took it to my local store, had to wait around as they wouldnt take my word for it and wanted to test it. 20 minutes later full refund.

To top it off, Now there is no sodding stock left, ive no PC for a while.

Useless, collection date doesnt work

I selected the collection for a date 3 days in the future, but the courier turned up to collect the next day! The Online web control panel confirms the collection date is 3 days in the future, but the label also has the incorrect date on it. Useless. No obvious way to contact them anywhere on the website either. Never again!

STOP BLOODY RINGING ME

I was very pleased with the service until the phone calls started. Several times yesterday, and 3 times i a row just now, i hung up each time but they kept calling over and over. Really angry. I have reported the number as have 33 other truecall users. Seems im not the only one having issues with AO trying to hard sell insurance.

Poorly packaged, Poor email support, Good in-store support.

Online order Item came from Clydebank branch.
Laptop arrived in a only a jiffy bag, surprise surprise it arrived damaged.

Like the last time i had a problem with a cex order, i got no response to my email which was sent on 2nd September. So today I took it to the Redditch branch. They were very helpful and refunded me in full.

We always ensure all items are checked before dispatch and as items are sent in post, we package them securely, to avoid any damage while in transit but we are really sorry as these were missed out with your order.
