Hone has been going downhill
HoneCTRL was amazing. it was open source, lightweight, and had a good team that wanted to figure out more tweaks and share them with the world
however, new hone restricts you to only 10 tweaks before u have to pay up, which is sad, because they have been stripping features out to make more profit.
It also runs in the background. There is no reason for the app to do this. seems silly to me.

The new Hone has the same team behind it that is working extremely hard on delivering quality over quantity. As you know, finding optimizations that increase your system's performance are hard to find and take a lot of time. Therefore, we had to make a Paid plan for our app as it allows you to support our team so we can continue working hard on providing you the best optimizations available online.
Hone running in the background is important as some of the optimizations do not work efficiently without it.
