Bought a PS 2 game which was supposed to be in good condition.
Looked like someone had taken a brillo pad to it and it would not load at all.
So much for being in good working and tested order.
This is the first and the last time I will be using this company.

I recently ordered a CD from them on Rakuten. They sell on Amazon and eBay too. The cd was £3.15.
Two days later they cancelled the order as 'cannot ship', then 24 hours later re-advertised the same cd at £8.25 on the same website.
I asked them why, only to be given some excuses of not having it in stock then magically having it there again.
Sorry, but I'm not that gullible.
Very sharp practice and dishonest.
I will now always AVOID!

Whenever I want secondhand music I use Zoverstocks. Most of the disks work, at their prices you cant really complain

I read a few of the other reviews regarding this company and thought I might help with a little perspective. If you want old and cheap DVD and CD's, which is what I use them for, then they are fine! I always go to them first on Amazon for second hand stock because they have never let me down. One item went missing on transit and not replaceable so instant refund once they responded to my email (within 24 hours) and that was four years ago.

Others mentioned an increase in p&p which I haven't noticed?! My guess is that this isn't to keep up head to head with the greed of other companies but a sign of the times?! Other than it's getting more expensive and competitive, staff have to be paid etc etc. unrelated, I note that I hadn't received anything from "Sh1tty Link " from Amazon long before their collapse! An example where companies are having to go elsewhere and pay more due to unscrupulous, deceitful and poorly run companies offering cheaper rates. There will then follow the knock on effect!

Used Zoverstocks many times from Rakuten(play.com) and Amazon, delivery time is usually between 7-10 days which they inform you of anyway. When i've needed to contact them about an order they have been very responsive and helpful too!

I, too, don't understand the poor reviews. I've bought about 30 2nd hand CDs and had only 2 minor disappointments. One disc described as 'very good' had a serious scratch on it (which actually didn't affect playback so I kept it). My most recent purchase was a two disc set (also 'very good') which came without its accompanying booklet/libretto. I wrote to them and they replied within 12 hours to apologize, offering me either a full refund upon return or a £1 partial refund and I keep the discs (which had cost me only £6 anyway). I went with the latter.

I've bought many CDs and DVDs from Zoverstocks over the past couple of years and I have to say that I don't understand the number of negative reviews they've received on Trustpilot. The condition of the discs has always matched the description in the advertisement and, with one exception, they have always arrived promptly - the exception turned up after nine days, seemingly delayed by the courier. It's worth noting that the satisfaction rating Zoverstocks achieves on Amazon, based on over 4.8 million sales, is 97%.

I ordered three DVDs from Zoverstocks. One was the wrong title. I requested a return and exchange for the title I ordered but they refused this saying I could only have a refund. The item I ordered is still in stock (two copies) but the price has increased by £3 ...

Any retailer should have a process for dealing with exchanges. Enforcing refunds is very poor customer service.Their replies were also cut and paste text and largely irrelevant to my complaint,

Have often used this company as an alternative to amazon's usual tricks of inflated delivery thresholds. However it appears this company are also cut from the same cloth. What one does the other does. You should have set an example and made a stand not flock like sheep to the sheppard who commands you. Delivery times are also painfuly inacurate. An alternative now has to be sought, shame.

I ordered a number of Blu-rays from Zoverstock U.K. and these were expensive by USA standards but they were unattainable in my own country so I ordered from Zoverstocks due to an excellent price.
My main gripe with Zoverstocks is their shipping FAQ which states 2 weeks to receive shipment to U.S. but after I received my shipping notice via email from Zoverstocks it was almost 2 months before my items arrived.
Now, I live outside a major city on the East Coast of the U.S. which means it should have not taken this long to receive my items but I am pretty sure my shipment was shipped via cargo ship due to the amount of time the item took to be delivered.
JUST GIVING MY FELLOW COUNTRYMEN A HEADS UP!.. Zoverstocks comes at a price & that price is speed..at a snails pace..
Base.com (BASECH) shipped my items from the U.K. and I received my shipment on the 8th day after shipping notice, not almost 2 months later as with Zoverstocks.
DISREGARD ZOVERSTOCKS FAQ IF YOU LIVE IN NORTH AMERICA IT IS A UTTER LIE!

Zoverstocks have only once made a mistake with any order of mine and that was many years ago now, this small problem was resolved with a replacement and a full refund.
If you are looking to upgrade your collection from DVD to Blu Ray then Zoverstocks is one of the best ways to do this without spending a small fortune on RRP, if you are looking to increase your DVD collection you will find prices on DVD's have dropped to a all time low and from this retailer popular titles are often only a few pence plus delivery!
I have now increased my Blu Ray collection with the help of Zoverstocks and completely pimped my DVD's!
Please note that since Play.com closed recently most of my purchased are made on Amazon after I search a few times to find the Zoverstocks listing.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SELLER. After three weeks of waiting unabatedly for an iPhone 5 to be delivered that I had purchased from zoverstocks I decided to contact the seller to ensure that they had received the correct information from me and/or if there was a problem with the dispatched item. I was ensured that the item had arrived at my address and had been signed for as it was a recorded delivery, I live in shared flats so went about hunting down my iPhone, questioning my flat mates as well as people that lived in other apartments. When I asked zoverstocks for the name of the person that had signed for my package I was then informed that the package had been lost en route and I would be receiving a refund 'sorry for any inconvenience'. So not only had the delivery company lost the package and failed to notify ANYBODY, and then zoverstocks flat out lied to me that it had been delivered and signed for when obviously it hadn't, I had been without a phone for three weeks, which is a HUGE inconvenience. If I had not have chased up this item with zoverstocks I would be down nearly £200 and still have no phone (they eventually gave me a refund nearly a month later). I never normally leave bad reviews, then again I normally have no need to. I appreciate that things get lost, that's why I needed a new phone but zoverstocks have been totally unprofessional in the fact that they lied to me and took their time in doing so.

Before I write this I want to say from the outset that I have no affiliation with Zoverstocks whatsoever.....

I`m sorry, I`m reading here about others being dissatisfied with merchandise sold by this company, whereas after many years of using Zoverstocks and ordering literally dozens and dozens of dvd`s from them I must completely disagree with their opinions! Zoverstocks merchandise is top notch and 99% of the time my second hand dvd`s received from them have looked totally brand new!

Ok every now and again and on rare occasions a dvd might be faulty, although looking at the disc itself there are no apparent defects, meaning if I can`t see a fault how the hell can Zoverstocks see it either??!! And on the occasions there has been a fault, I emailed them and a replacement was sent out straight away. So those here complaining about bad service and the like perhaps are other sellers with a big case of being green with envy and putting the boot in so to speak at their competition being so much better.

How the hell Zoverstocks make a profit selling films so cheap in an almost new condition beats me, but as a customer I would tell anyone and everyone to buy from this company.

Purchased item. 5 days later they email me telling me its to damaged to send. And i have to request a cancellation & refund?! They should have automatically refunded my money. I shouldn't have to request it. DONT BUY FROM THEM!!!

My complaint email as below pretty self explanatory
You have described this item as very good which is completely at odds with the item which I have in front of me, the box set cover is extensively ripped and damaged there is a large rip running right accross the front cover the box is dented at the corners, in no way could this be described as very good condition, one of the dvd cases is all cracked and there is a large hole in the side of the dvd case volume three, in short the condition of this item is completely unacceptable, please can you advise what you intend to do to rectify this matter, I have taken photos which I am happy to forward to you if required

Funnily enough not surprised this company are part of Music Magpie it definitely figures with their lack of customer service

They are the best seller I know on Amazon, if there's a problem, they'll fix it asap.

Ordered dvds box set from zoversteals (zoverstocks) realized immediately after placing the order, that the movies i had ordered would not be able to be viewed in the U.S. regon 2. Attempted to cancel the order IMMEDIATELY after placing this order, to NO avail. Eventually it arrived, i cant believe this so-called company sent out this order KNOWING as the customer i wanted to cancel this order, yet they ignored my MANY requests to cancel, not to receive sonething I CANT WATCH!!!! Are you peole THAT money hungry? Obviously when you're sending out orders that were attempted several times to cancel!!!! Order finally arrived i refused the order at delivery, it now has been a month since their merchandise was returned to them, unopened, unwanted!!! Yet here i sit without a refund, no merchandise. NOTHING!!! Thats okay zoversteal ill be calling my credit card company in the am, and dispute youre charge for merchandise returned!!! Do NOT order from these people

They take your money and have not even got the item to send . then fob you off . asked for refund keep getting told to wait . they just don't want to give refund . i will keep trying i have reported them to Amazon they are unable to do job.they have now told me not to contact them that's their way of trying to get out of a refund now told to wait untill the 26/11/14. I surpose i will have to wait untill the 26th . Then take them to County Court.
