Despite having checked all my items when I placed them in the box, the most expensive item was mysteriously "not received" and therefore not paid out. I seriously mistrust this company, and have no intention of using them again.

Had 50 assorted books to sell
Only 7 accepted for £3.48 in total.
The rest all received the rejection message 'currently we are not purchasing xxxx'
Waste of time and prices they offer are ridiculous anyway

Rejected the most expensive books and the rest were "thrown away". All books were in excellent condition. Won't be using them again. Scammers

A perfect copy of a book was rejected with claims of mould being present on the book. This is completely false and I have photographic evidence to prove it.
Avoid dealing with Ziffit.

I used Ziffit to sell some items recently. I spent ages sorting through books, CDs and DVDs, scanning items and packaging those which Ziffit accepted and sent them off. Apparently they did not receive many of these items, usually those items that Ziffit had valued the most! They also do not return those items which they reject! How convenient. I filed a crime report with the local constabulary, I wished I'd read the reviews on here before engaging with them. A large number of reviews report items mysteriously disappearing on receipt! Make of that what you want. I will avoid this company in future, as I would advise anybody considering using Ziffit to do likewise. I wished I'd given the items to charity instead. Notably, Ziffit do not respond to reviews, and they do not respond when you attempt to contact them, which you can only do by email. If I could give no stars it would still be too much credit for Ziffit.

Thought I'd have a look at this to compare prices,I was more than shocked,the prices they offer for items I've seen selling for way more are quite incredible to say the least,maybe I should of reviewed the site before, each to there own I expect.

Never received the payment from them yet they show as paid on the app.
Contacted them via email and they replied fairly quickly to say they would look into it
Since then I have chased for an update several times and get no reply.
Very disappointed would be an understatement. Wish I hadn't used them and like others, wish I had read the reviews first.

Just received my email to say some of the books were not received and 3 were water damaged- which they were not and funny enough- the most expensive ones. Not using again. Was only doing it as charity shops were refusing donations and I didn’t want to throw them away.

My kid sold his books on this site. Either this or the carbooth. He was excited about a £9 cheque coming his way. Bit this company rejected about 80% of books (everything above 20p) because of condition. The condition on all books was used of course. I find it rather pathetic to have this as a strategy.

Ripped me off completely! I had a code that added 20% on to the value of the books that I sent which I didn't get, plus they paid me over a third less than was listed when I scanned the items. So in total, they've paid me less than half of what I should have received. Several of the books were brand new, so they don't even have an excuse that they were used or damaged. I sent an email and just got the standard b*lsh*t response that my books were damaged which as I say, most were brand new and unread. I've looked over the good reviews and they're clearly fake. Pretty disgusted, will never use again.

Where do they sort these books, in a massive warehouse perhaps where whoever is checking them doesn’t do so properly and they are just chucked about?

I have used them before but very disappointed with them this time.

I have sent Ziffit an email today so let’s see if I receive a reply! If they do I will amend this review to reflect it.

Basically paid me a pittance for selling 18 books for the grand total of £6.63!

Only to be emailed today to be told one book wasn’t in the box which it most definitely was, one had no spine, funny that as it was in perfect condition when it left here so they weren’t paying me for either!

I had inadvertently scanned one book twice (I thought they didn’t accept multiples!) one was valued at 40 pence one at 70pence for some random reason for the same book! Needless to say they paid me the lower rate so basically have short changed me a total of £1.10!

Having read the other reviews unless I get a response from them I certainly won’t be using them again!

They weren't buying most of the books I scanned...pointless

All went well till I tried to send a box via Collect+. Instructions said print out label but there was no label accessible on the Ziffit app on my phone.
Be warned. The system worked on the Ziffit site on my laptop but not on the app on my phone.

I have traded the last 2 years and been good but last few times Ziffit say items damaged or not received in parcel.. won't use again.

Stayed home 3 separate times for a collection that never came. I don't know how these people make any money.

Sent two trades and both times when any book or dvd or game is of value they seem to not receive it or say it is damaged when I know for a fact they are not damaged and I personally packed the box. They conned me out of money twice and I'm hoping to warn others of this scam of a company.

Do not trust the prices this app gives for your books. I scanned a few of the books I was thinking of selling. The low prices were a little disappointing but I shrugged my shoulders thinking times move on. Then I scanned a copy of my own book. It returned a price of £15 but seemed to suggest someone would buy it for 60p. I may have made a mistake with the 60p so the £15 valuation appears good. It isn't.
Here's why. The book has been discontinued because the rights were returned to me after a dispute with the publisher - I objected to the high RRP of £80. The last time it was available on Amazon as a second hand copy the asking price was over £150 (I have seen copies listed on Amazon for over £250).
The point is, whatever method the app uses to establish a value it is flawed and should not be trusted. If you are thinking of selling books of value, do your research. If they have little value - take them to a charity shop. Any charity shop using this app is likely to be losing money!

I should have read the reviews first!

I sent Ziffit several CD's (about £15 worth) and nearly all of them were rejected claiming the discs were damaged. They only paid me £2.80! They were fine to me but they didn't elaborate any further so I have no idea what was wrong with them. I've sold to other companies like MusicMagpie and Webuybooks and they have only rejected a couple per batch. I almost sent Ziffit a new batch worth over £60 but thankfully I found out what this company was like before sending it.

I strongly recommend either avoiding them completely or sending a small batch first to see if their payment satisfies you.

I downloaded the app and scanned away and was amazed that I was actually getting offered some decent prices for a few of the books! Then caution happened and I read the reviews! I've now deleted the trade and deleted the app. Would rather give books to charity.
I want these people to see that bad reviews will damage their so called business and what goes round, comes round. Thank you ALL those people who have warned against using this company. They ALL can't be wrong!

I trade frequently with Ziffit. In the past few months, more often than not Ziffit tell me that my several of my items have not been received, when I very clearly remember packing them in the box. So either the problem is in their recording processes and/or they have an internal theft problem in the warehouse.
