Zeal has taken over our day2day finance business and the way GnosisPay is implementing is amazing. No issues so far and of course this is a real game changer to personal finance. Users need to be aware that this is a free service and there may be delays with customer support but nobody should complain as the team is really helping even free of charge.
Integration with Aave for Euro and even zCHF is a solid solution. Payments via Visa and Fiat transfer run flawlessly.
With Zeal and cold wallets like tangem we are really in the situation to be the real owner of our fund and Zeal is simply the perfect gateway to TradFi.

Die App und die Wallet sind wirklich sehr gut, aber ich brauche einen vernünftigen Kontoauszug, wo ich sehen kann, wem ich Geld gesendet habe und von wem ich Geld bekommen habe und wo ich auch den Verwendungszweck abrufen kann. Dass da in der Aktivitätenliste immer nur steht "Gesendet an Bank" oder "Gesendet von Bank", reicht mir leider nicht für eine langfristige Zusammenarbeit.

Außerdem kann ich meine Aktivitäten und mein Guthaben immer nur auf dem Gerät sehen, mit dem ich mich zuerst registriert habe. Ich benutze aber zwei Geräte, und auf dem anderen Gerät werden mir weder die Aktivitäten noch das Guthaben dargestellt.

I left enquiry to customer twice , and almost two weeks, no reply. Every time it shows answer within 4 days. This is such a terrible team. Avoid this app!

Update:
Zeal has since confirmed that this was a known bug (“Aave Earn EUR → card flow”) and that it has now been fixed in a recent app version. I was eventually able to recover my funds, but only by manually accessing the Aave protocol myself, days before Zeal support replied.

While I appreciate that the issue was acknowledged and fixed, the support response came far too late and my in-app requests remained unanswered throughout. The product itself is solid, but customer support still needs major improvement. For that reason, I’m updating my rating to 3 stars, with the clear expectation that response times and communication improve significantly.

I’m writing this with a lot of frustration and honestly some sadness, because I genuinely trusted Zeal Wallet. I’ve been using it for about a year and everything worked fine, until it suddenly didn’t.

On January 16th, I made a deposit from AAVE to my Gnosis Card, something I had done many times before without any problems. This time, the funds never arrived. Instead, they were moved into a section of the app called “DeFi – Aave V3 Lending.” From there, I can’t do anything with them.

I can’t withdraw.
I can’t exchange.
I can’t move the funds anywhere.

They’re just… stuck.

What makes this experience really upsetting is the lack of communication. I contacted Zeal support right away. The only response I received was a short message saying that “the developers are working on it.” Since then - crickets. No update, no explanation, no timeframe, despite several reminders.

When you use a wallet that talks about self-custody, you expect to at least have access to your own money, or at the very least clear communication when something goes wrong. Having your funds blocked with no visibility and no support is stressful and unsettling.

I didn’t expect perfection, but I did expect transparency and basic customer care. Unfortunately, this experience has seriously damaged my trust in Zeal. I hope they improve their support and take situations like this more seriously, because no user should feel powerless over their own funds.

I started using it recently. So far I enjoy its cashback percentage and how comfortable and intuitive the app is.
