Lost a customer for life over greedy refund policy
I had a yearly subscription that was auto-renewed. Three days after renewal I requested a refund as I don't use the service anymore.
They said they don't offer refunds and I'll have my subscription for another year, even though I won't be using it at all.
Very greedy and short-sighted policy. I hope the $238 was worth it, they lost a customer for life.
Avoid Zapier, use Claude or anything else.

My non-profit organization has been trying to simply cancel our account for 3 months! We have contacted Zapier multiple times, provided any and all information they claim to need to find our account...and they still can not locate it. Thier billing support is absolute trash. We had to go to our banking facility and file a complaint with them to get the charges to stop.
For future people using Zapier...think twice or even three times before considering them.
Also, I reported them to the BBB

This is an excellent service, far more customisable than IFTTT. It links with all the major apps and makes life a lot easier performing a few critical functions that run my personal productivity ecosystem.
When we ran our own business I have to say it was also brilliant.

Refused to talk on the phone to someone post surgery that had the use of only 1 hand until they vetted we would spend 50k per year. Forced into chat and then miraculously they could not only call but call at 9pm on Saturday. Unbelievable gready pigs who discriminate against the handicap!!
Paid for 1 month premium membership
Paid for 1 month premium membership, the zap would not send me notifications, support would not help except asking me to prove it (which I could) and then saying "all sales are final". Absolutely ridiculous, literally had money stolen from me. No refunds even though you set up a faulty product with no support.

They charged me 1 year in advance for a subscription I never used. I tried to get my almost $400 back, but They have a No Refund policy. ZERO customer support. No phone # to call. No help.

Read all the fine print you can find before trying this company. They offer free services and free trials to lure you in but any filters you need require a subscription. They don’t tell you this until after setting up a zap withAI for an hour. Customer service is horrible. Multiple people chiming in to “help” offering conflicting solutions, only to have AI suggest something else. Oh and you only get so many “tasks” which get wasted with every failed zap. No customer training, no phone numbers. They think sending links to fix it yourself is helpful. I finally gave up and asked to cancel only to find out they won’t refund your money. Our little non profit with a tight budget will just have to take the hit. I regret signing up with them. Better off entering data manually.

I faced the same problems as everyone else: macros didn’t work as intended, customer service was unhelpful, and overall, we regret spending so much time trying to figure out how to use the service.
ZERO stars isn’t low enough
ZERO stars isn’t low enough. This company flat‑out LIED about a ‘free 14‑day trial.’ The AI Agent Assistant — the ONLY reason I signed up — is NOT included unless you upgrade. So I upgraded and paid $29.99, and guess what? Still NO AI agent. Instead, they dumped some useless AI‑Zapier tool on me that has nothing to do with what they advertised.
I wasted FIVE HOURS fighting with their ridiculous, overly complicated setup just to sort emails. Total nightmare. I finally cancelled the SAME DAY, and they still refused to refund the money for a service they NEVER provided.
And of course, there’s NO phone number, just a dead‑end chat that goes nowhere. Huge red flag. This whole thing feels like a scam. Don’t waste your time, your money, or your sanity

Tripled the price on my renewal without notice
We paid $427 last January for the Pro plan. They just charged me $1,068 for the same plan on a renewal with no notice of a price increase. Let alone that price increase is insane.
I've emailed them but I bet I'll need to get a dispute going on this one. What the hell is up with this company? Who raises their prices that much?
Built an integration for a client
Built an integration for a client, and it went pretty smoothly the CLI was good, and the way it makes an MCP for you bey default is kinda cool. The process to get the integration verified and published was not great, but it there now, and the prompt to workflow thing is really cool.
Contact us form is so bad
We are on a paid plan and it is impossible to load screenshots in the contact us form. One cannot understand if you can upload one or multiple screenshots. It is ridicolous.
No refund even though I only used it for a couple days?
I upgraded to the paid version to handle some integrations among Zapier, PayPal, and GetResponse--it was quite cumbersome and never worked properly. I only used it for a couple days, but Zapier refuses to issue a refund. I found a much better solution for my needs and I would recommend that you stay away from Zapier if at all possible.
