Ordered a conversion kit for a birthday present , on arrival the crank sensor was the wrong one , our fault for not knowing about bike parts , so we paid extra and ordered a hollowtech crank sensor from yose power uk as this would mean the we can get the part quicker and finally enjoy the bike , it still took over a week, on arrival part of the kit was missing , half of the magnets . Yose power stores managed to fail to package one of the four items ! It shouldn't be this hard to put a ebike conversion on a bike . I wish is looked in to other options now.

Sent a used item.

Bought a battery, they sent a used item and agreed to exchange it but then failed to arrange the collection. The SEEL delivery guarantee won’t cover it as I started the dispute with the seller, and now their 7 day window has passed. Don’t bother with paying the extra for this “guaranteed service” it’s worthless. Only use Yose power if you have no alternatives. The products are great, when they send the right items, but their customer service is very poor and incredibly slow to respond to emails. Pay by credit card and use the charge back system to avoid the headaches I’ve got.

I ordered a battery from this…

I ordered a battery from this company.Paid over £200. When it arrived it did not fit. I contacted the company and they advised that I send it back,which I did. It was sent back on the 16/2/26 nearly a month ago. I’ve tried contacting the company and they just ignore my emails and still no refund.Do not trust this company ever.

Best ebike kit

I have bought many yose power and other brands kits for my friends, customers and for myself for the last 7 years and can only say that it is the best value ebike conversion kit.
The only suggestion is to have more choice with wheels like disc or rim brake, silver or black spoke because it's nicer to match rear to the front wheel of the bike when converting. Very nice that they have MT200 hydraulic brake sensor I wish it could be available to choose instead of just cable brake sensor and usually square taper sensor fits all bikes but hollowtech needs improvement with size adjustment as not every crank spider is the same.
The battery is one of the best things of this kit, it's so long lasting if you charge and maintain it correctly and like no other brand it has integrated controller in the bracket which makes the bike look nice.
In my experience the controller is the only part that ever failed but that happened after 18k miles and that bike already done 30k miles with this kit and still going.
I wish the battery and bracket design could be more durable as after so many miles the tabs that hold the battery on the bracket can break and become loose and water could get in-between, that is something for the designers to solve as many other brands uses that type of battery bracket.
I only can't believe that there are so many negative reviews left in here.

Display clasp opending too small to fit handlebars

Having been let down by an ever lengthening delivery date from another well known ebike kit supplier, I turned to Yose.
I chose the A3 Pro kit, very similar to the other kit I had ordered and over £100 cheaper. The kit arrived within a week, very well packaged, came with some tools - another plus - and looked well made.
Fitting the kit, all seemed well. The rear wheel went on nicely. The battery bottle cage although not suitable for the down tube fitted fine on the seat tube and I managed to tuck away the cable to the motor tidily. It was when I came to fitting the display that I hit a major problem, the clasp opening is too small for my handlebars. It has an opening for 22.2 mm diameter bars. This size went out with chrome handlebars, modern alloy bars are fatter.
I reached out to Yose and had a good initial response but in the last few days they have gone quiet.
The kit is of no use to me without the display on the handlebars.

Yose did agree to a refund but I found my own solution - a handlebar extender. Not ideal but it did mean I could use the kit.
I'm happy with the kit in use. Although I would prefer less assistance on level 1 i.e. just enough to help me along without me realising I am getting that help. There are 4 higher levels to use if I need a real push but so far I have not used higher than level 1 even though it is fairly hilly where I live. Less assistance on level 1 would also extend the range. I managed to fit an 11 speed cassette which is good even though Yose state up to 10.

poor quality

I bought a battery that lost 30% of its charge in six months! These batteries are no better than ali3xpress, they're just junk!
They ignore all letters and inquiries. I do not recommend buying batteries from them. Poor quality and poor service are guaranteed!

Ein System läuft gut – beim zweiten (Accu nicht wasserdicht)scheitert der Service komplett

Wir besitzen zwei verschiedene Yose-Power-Systeme:

1. Hinterradset mit Rahmenakku (läuft seit 2023 problemlos)
Dieses System aus der Bestellung YOSE#16504 funktioniert bis heute einwandfrei. Damit waren wir sehr zufrieden.

2. Vorderradmotor mit Gepäckträgerakku (Akkuausfall nach ca. 100 Ladezyklen)
Bei diesem System trat nach rund drei Jahren ein Problem auf: Das E-Bike schaltete sich sofort wieder ab, obwohl der Akku laut Anzeige noch Ladung hatte.

Der Support wirkte zuerst sehr entgegenkommend und schrieb:
„Man kann den Akku zur Reparatur zurücksenden. In der Regel kostet er 40–80 EUR.“
Also haben wir den Akku eingeschickt, wie gewünscht mit Sendungsnummer.

Die spätere Rückmeldung lautete jedoch lediglich:
„Der Akku konnte nicht repariert werden, weil die Batterie nass geworden war.“

Auf unsere Nachfrage kam die Erklärung:
„Unsere Akku sind nicht 100 % wasserdicht. Wir raten davon ab, längere Zeit im Regen oder bei starkem Regen zu fahren.“

Für ein E-Bike-System, dessen Akku offen am Gepäckträger sitzt und im deutschen Alltag genutzt wird, ist diese Einschränkung schwer nachvollziehbar. Das Rad stand trocken, wurde nur selten im Regen gefahren — trotzdem soll der Akku „nass geworden sein“.

Wir baten anschließend um technische Daten oder ein Ersatzangebot.
Statt konkreter Unterstützung erhielten wir lediglich:
„Vielleicht kann man auf eBay oder Amazon wieder suchen.“

Wir haben daraufhin selbst recherchiert und konkrete Produktlinks geschickt, z. B. zu potenziell passenden Akkus — jedoch keine Rückmeldung erhalten, ob diese Modelle kompatibel sind oder nicht.
Nicht einmal die grundlegenden technischen Spezifikationen (Maße, Stecker, Leistung) wurden uns mitgeteilt.

Damit blieb der gesamte Prozess ohne Lösung, obwohl der Akku ein Yose-Produkt ist und wir transparent um Hilfe gebeten haben.

Fazit:
Unser erstes Yose-System funktioniert bis heute einwandfrei. Beim zweiten System jedoch zeigt sich, dass der Service bei Akkuproblemen sehr begrenzt ist: keine Reparatur, kein Ersatzangebot, keine technische Beratung und keine Rückmeldung zu von uns vorgeschlagenen möglichen Alternativen.

Gerade die Aussage, ein Fahrradakku am Gepäckträger solle möglichst nicht im Regen genutzt werden, wirkt im Alltag unrealistisch.

Gesamtbewertung: ⭐️⭐️☆☆☆ (2 von 5 Sternen)
– gutes erstes System,
– aber schwacher Support und fehlende Lösungsbereitschaft beim zweiten.

Expérience heureuse avec YosePowerAcheté le kit complet 36V/350W/batterie…

Acheté le kit complet 36V/350W/batterie 13Ah, moteur arrière, en juin et monté sur mon VTT. Changé le PAS car pas compatible, les cannelures de mon pédalier étaient nulles. Après 1500 km j'ai eu envie de plus d'autonomie et Yose m'a conseillé la batterie 18 Ah. Des sa mise en place j'ai constaté un gain décevant (10km de mieux). Yose m'a renvoyé une nouvelle batterie gracieusement sans demander le retour de la batterie défaillante. Je trouve cette société très sérieuse et vraiment a l'écoute de ses clients. Connu a travers le site bricolage c'est cool je suis ravi de mon expérience vélo électrique.

UK purchasers should be aware that the Yosepower.co.uk site is actually hosted in Canada and that Yosepower has no UK-registered legal entity: therefore, you cannot exercise any legal rights that you might think you have in respect of warranty or customer service, or even your personal data.

An enquiry made to the individual or legal entity trading in China as "Yosepower" was received but there was no response or even any acknowledgement.

Update: In its response, the trader does not answer the issue about its identity nor the lack of any presence in the UK, so potential customers are still warned that they have no warranty nor any legal redress if their purchase is defective, nor is there any meaningful commitment to not process UK customers' personal data lawfully (the trader hasn't even bothered to complete all of the "boilerplate" content in its Privacy Policy) and there is no UK ICO registration.

Delivery company made the mistake NOT yose power.Yose power have been great, especially joey who ive gotnothing but good things to sayabout . He Gets the job done. He's Reliable ,always willing to offer tips (even though it's annoying at times lol ,but he dosent know that so it's my fault ) when you think of the £ to what your buying costs are (could be anything they sell) there customer service is 2nd to none . Keep doing your thing guys . Oo I'm looking for a 500watt+ , hubs? (at least 500watt ) are use guys doing those kits ? . Massive thanks

Placed my order approximately 2 days ago and it arrived nice and early today, all packaging in perfect condition and double boxed.
I am always happy with a service that delivers your product well within the time specified, and kept updated from day one with details about the carrier service and so on.

Doesn't work. Really unhelpful customer service

The screen doesn't turn on. I emailed yosepower customer service who replied "Impossible" and then asked whether I had turned it on. This from an outfit who sent me a rear wheel kit when I ordered a front wheel kit. I have asked for a replacement screen which they've ignored. All they are doing is putting obstacles in my way without addressing the problem. Well yosepower it is possible for screens to fail because there is plenty of stuff on the internet showing this. Why don't you actually listen to your customers instead of being unhelpful.

I purcFaulty Battery & Poor Warranty Support – Be Carefulhased a battery from YOSE Power…

I purchased a battery from YOSE Power that was faulty from the very beginning. After multiple attempts to get it fixed, they replaced it once — but that replacement also failed within the warranty period. Now they’re trying to charge me £30–£80 to repair something that is still under their 18-month warranty.

Their website clearly states that battery cells are covered for 18 months, with no mention of any repair fees during that time. They also claim to follow a fair warranty policy — but in practice, they seem to limit support and try to pass off costs onto the customer.

To make matters worse, the company has ignored the fact that the product was never fully functional, which is a breach of both their own policy and UK consumer law (Consumer Rights Act 2015).

I’ve given them every chance to resolve this fairly and amicably, but unless they act in line with their published terms, I will be reporting them to Trading Standards and pursuing legal action.

Disappointed and would not recommend unless you’re prepared to fight for your rights.

Nach 5500km und 2 Jahre immer noch top. Musste nur einmal den Tretsensor tauschen. Hab den Kit 250W Heckmotor 36V. Der Kundenservice ist auch sehr gut.

kit fiable

Installé sur un Btwin 5, depuis 3 ans, seul le capteur de pedalage a été remplacé, par un modéle plus robuste, celui d'origine a fini par être endommagé.
L'autonomie est très bonne 60 à 100 kms suivant l'utilisation.
un bémol Le moteur est un peu bruyant.

Another review from me. Been using these kits now for a couple of years.

I don't understand why people say the customer service is bad, because I contacted customer service today with a general enquiry regarding my motor wire which was becoming damaged.

No questions asked they said we will just send you a new motor.

I've never had a problem with the customer service they are always very helpful and replace items with no fuss whatsoever.

I think they very much look after their loyal customers. You look after them they look after you.

Iv had two kits, 3 batteries and several accessories.

I will continue for many years to buy from this company. Outstanding!

Great experience with E-Bike conversion kit

I personally bought an E-bike conversion kit. It was great, fast delivery and arrived with everything in it. The only thing I wished to be different is that the description doesnt say, that all the tools are inclueded in the kit. There was a crank as well as a cassette removal tool included.
Other than that my experience was decent. It makes quite a noise but that doesnt matter to me. After 3 months of use, it works perfectly. (If something breaks, I'll change this review)
The support is also great. Although the support is located in china, they perfectly answered my question after a night.
