York lenses ships from Hong Kong. Expect more than two weeks for delivery. Otherwise, service, response to questions, care (lens was well protected) were all excellent!

If you want to spend thousands of dollars and still have to constantly follow up just to find out when your order will ship, then you can try this website.

The shipping timeframe shown on their website is not accurate and feels like bait to get customers to place an order. Do not expect your order to ship within the advertised 0–2 business days. Based on my experience, you're realistically looking at around 7–9 days just for them to ship the order out.

For an expensive product, this level of service is simply unacceptable. Even when shipping internationally from Hong Kong or China, there is no reasonable excuse for taking this long just to dispatch an widely in stock item in Asian market.

I ended up buying the same product directly online from Chin and my order was shipped within less than 5 hours.

If you're spending thousands of dollars, I would strongly recommend buying elsewhere.

Best price I could find but you pay for the price difference with time.
I was skeptical at some point so I decided to ask someone else who purchased from them. His got delivered in 3 weeks, but mine took exactly 4 weeks to arrive.

Customer service was responsive. They reply within an hour or two but didn't always have accurate information as regards the delivery time.

I was able to get a camera set and extra lens for about the same price as other stores were offering just the camera set.

Late delivery, no proactive communication. Shipping label was issued a week before pickup to show progress. Innovative timelines given. Product itself arrived in perfect condition.

Shipping took longer than advertised.

Order was made on July 22 but delivery has been made by FedEx this afternoon. This would be over 3 weeks to get delivery from Cambridge to Richmond Hill. I do not understand how you can survive as an on-line store!!

Well functioning, new product, prices that are $2-300 below other companies and great customer service. Just be aware that items get shipped from HK, mine took around 3 weeks to arrive.

Good price, product arrived in 2 weeks approx. Worth the wait.

All legitimate and cheap! BUT, very slow shipment times. My A7V took nearly a full month to ship but it came and was perfect and new. The support is also very friendly and helpful. I would buy from them again but if you're on a tight schedule you may need to look elsewhere.

Well the price is unbeatable. The time it took to receive my camera was 3 weeks which I would have been fine with considering the dollar savings if York Lenses was upfront about it but I suppose they would lose customers if they were truthful with delivery expectations.

Your prices are lower than others. Your communications with the customer are rapid and precise. The only irritant is the delay to get the merchandise. I thought your were a store located in Canada and I had the impression that I would receive my parcel within a week. But I realise the camera was sent from Hong Konk and I received it 24 days after I bought it. Foreign products have to go through customs,,,

The good: Pricewise York Lenses is unbeatable and the lens I got is in top condition. The free shipping service by FedEx was also fast, reliable and easy to track.
The less interesting:
I ordered my lens on June 24 and just received it 19 days later. My first order has been cancelled because of a glitch in their confirmation process. I got a refund and ordered again on June 26. That is when I realised that the lens was actually in Hong Kong while I tought that it was in stock in Canada since the e-store is advertised as Canadian. I honestly think that this information should be disclosed more clearly and not buried in the FAQ section. I had a deadline and nearly missed the opportunity to use this lens for the event. It took nearly two weeks before the parcel was actually given to FedEx which explains the long shipping delay. As soon as Fedex got the parcel, everything rolled very fast.
I appreciated the fast answer from Greg of the customer service but some corrections about what I mentionned above would be welcomed.

When I ordered the Canon R6ii, it did not say it was grey market.
I was told the order was being shipped, yet FedEx still shows that only the label was created. It has been an over two weeks, and I still do not have the camera.
I would like a refund, as I am not paying for a product I cannot get delivered. I literally live 20 minutes from your Winnipeg address.

Product is great - arrived from HK. But works perfectly and at a very reasonable price vs other retailers. I took 1-star away because it took much longer to ship than I expected - almost 3 weeks after ordering. So keep those expectations in mind when ordering, it will come - you just need to be patient.

Accurately and customer service is not bad at all, you need to wait the product I think this is a dropshipping but so far everything was good!!

Although i experienced some very minor delays in shipping, I received active communication from the vendor when making enquiries about the status. Everything went well, goods were received and items are just as expected.

It did come in a few days from honk gong tho. I think if your supplier was on the ball, I would have had the lens in time before I had left on my trip.

Excellent price and excellent delivery. It does take a while to clear customs and arrive, but the product was well packaged and worked well. Purchased Powershot V1.
