Ordered parts two weeks ago and haven't heard back since, despite calling and emailing multiple times. Will be cancelling with PayPal soon and will update this review if I hear back.

AVOID. Frustrating useless company, never answered any calls, emails or WhatsApps messages. AVOID.

I ordered a part from this company and was told that it will reach me within 3 weeks. I just received it, 2 months later!! I called and email so many times. Very poor response from the company as they do not pick up the call and never respond to emails. The few times, they answered the call, they were very reluctant to give a straightforward answer and all deadlines they tried to give were not true! They even lied saying that the part is 'manufactured specifically for me in Japan' and that the Golden Week delayed the delivery. Well for someone who lived in Japan many years and dealt with Toyota for many years, I can easily say that this is a lie! When the part arrived, it arrived in an old box, poorly wrapped (which confirms that it is not done by Japanese) and most importantly it shows that it is manufactured in the UK NOT in Japan as they claimed. Simply, AVOID these ones and go directly to a main dealer, slightly more expensive but certainly better quality and far better service.

Was looking for what I thought was a simple adjusting bolt for a tensioner pulley that was unique to my wife's toyota camper and quickly found out that it had to be imported. Ordered from Yam6 and quickly had an email from Jason who noticed that the part I ordered may have been the wrong one. After confirming it was the one I needed he quickly proceeded to order it in from their supplier. Only 8 days later and it had actually arrived! Was expecting at least a few weeks at minimum, great service and due diligence from Jason at Yam6 and will definitely use again if/when I need more parts.

Invaluable! So happy with this company.

Firstly, I see many questioning the safety of this site, are they a legit company, etc - It's a genuine (UK) company that supplies Toyota parts.

Anyone who is unhappy with some delivery times doesn't realise what they are getting here - this company can source impossible to get anywhere else parts (for example on my 30 year old car) direct from Japan at reasonable prices. To some extent they are unique in the UK for some of the genuine parts they can get for you.

Ordered parts 26th Jan, was told 3 weeks for delivery. Now 27th Feb and no updates, no responses to emails sent 19th Feb, or 23rd Feb, no calls answered and generic automated response from the dedicated WhatsApp number.
Disappointing and frustrating

Update 6th March - Parts delivered after being reordered internally by Yam6 - Yam6 covered any additional costs related to express delivery. The lack of communication, delays (stopping a car from going to NCT), original delivery charges and VAT costs have made the experience less than ideal.

Top class service! got me some parts for my Toyota landcruiser that I was finding hard to get anywhere because it is a japanese import

It’s the first time I used Yam6, I was trying to source parts for a 24 year old car, they delivered the exact parts for my Toyota Yaris that fitted perfectly. The quality parts and communication was fantastic.
I would certainly recommend using them.

Ordered some parts on 5 December and was quoted 3 weeks for delivery. Parts still nog arrived and order showing as 'processing'. I appreciate that we have had Xmas and New Year but despite 2 requests for an update I have heard nothing.

Needed a part for my dad's Lexus and Jason was super helpful in checking to ensure that the part I was looking to purchase was suitable for the car, kept me up to date on the delivery and helped my retired dad save quite a bit of money.

It's hard to find parts for my car. A 1978 car with a 1980 rear axle and various other oddities. Jason patiently helps me identify the correct parts and then supplies them, at a very competitive price. Yam6 operate at a level of customer care that is now pretty much extinct.

I ordered part.I was informed immediately that it was not suitable for my car. Cancelled and got refund right away. My mistake and great service.

Really helpful on the phone, had the part I needed and confirmed compatibility and delivery times but my local Nissan dealer had one on the shelf so sourced locally, great service would recommend and use for future parts.

Enquired about some seals for my yaris rocker cover yam 6 were very good replied had to bye a new rocker cover as seals are part of cover got a toyota branded rocker cover from japan beautifully packed and saved 230 pounds over main dealer price fitted ot myself so saved430 overall

Jason was very helpful, I ordered some parts and he did warn me about the lead time which I was happy about. HODL :-)

Terrible service, emailed across the details of the part I needed on July 8th, 2 weeks went by with no response. Called the team as the issue was becoming more urgent, another week went by with still no response. Called again at the end of the 3rd week with still no response. Not sure what counts for urgency with this company but it's well below expectations.

Needed a part spoke with the Team there and they couldnt have been anymore helpful, talked me through what i needed and kept me informed of the delivery timings etc. Even went into the warehouse to confirm they had the part on the shelf waiting to be picked up before i paid, Superb thanks ever so much !!!

Fantastic service, helpful throughout buying and delivery. Went above and beyond as we needed our purchase asap. Thanks 😊

I can’t commend Yam6 Car Parts enough and in particular Jason .
Jason was very understanding of my predicament and was very helpful with questions I had for him. The new straps for my fuel tank arrived in super quick time and were a lot cheaper than local garages had quoted for in both cost and the time to get my van back in the road for work !
I will 100% be using Yam6 again and can confidently recommend anyone looking for GENUINE Toyota parts to use Yam6 !!

I was having trouble locating parts phoned yam6 person on phone was brilliant very helpful parts ordered in 10 minutes delivered in 3 days fitted now. Brilliant service from star to finish. Definitely use again and would reccomend
