I can say definitively that everyone giving one star is absolutely clueless on how the app and exchanging actually works. One person is complaining about how the app is just gamified and the coding doesn’t work and there’s no value. They’re clueless no matter how much they think they breath coding. Google doesn’t give you free maps that used to cost hundreds to update because they don’t make money. In fact they bring in about $4.3 billion a year so they don’t understand the value of data. Another person is claiming they should have cashed out $140,000 but got way less… the app gives out $5 per 10,000 coin based on a rolling average on the last 7 days of the value of the XYO token. So no, you should not have gotten $140,000, you should have cashed out to XYO earlier. The lack of competence of these one stars hurts.

Been using for years. Had 88k total. Redeemed 10k, 1st time withdrawn. It took a week. Opened my wallet to see $4 in XYO. WTH?

I see the bad reviews. Please read the reviews. Poor rating because they feel it's a waste of time. Do you think you're going to get rich? Have realistic expectations and this app is great.

Don’t be fooled, the exchange rate for in app coins to real XYO is insane and keeps going down. About 3 months ago roughly 20 in app coins where worth 1 token now you need 100 and it is still growing daily!

I've been mining non stop on my phone for most of 2 years. Early on when I withdrew my coin to xyo the exchange was 1 to 1. Yesterday I found d out that my 2.8 million coins ( which should have ad a value of $140,000.00 is only now converting for roughly 1 to 100 which essentially makes my account value less then $1,400.00 completely bogus

Let me be clear: I made $2000 off this “project” but it is indeed a scam

I have been following this since basically the beginning. I mined using an old phone off and on, and made what at the time would be about $50 worth. Within about 4 months the coin had gone way, way up and I immediately sold. It’s dipped back and forth since.

My issue: I am a DevOps Engineer. I live and breathe Linux, technical documentation, application installation and code quite a lot.
I COULD NOT implement a single thing one of their SDKs
There’s a note on their website that still says “Next Release Q1 2020”
Their GitHub is dead. 2 years since last release.
I believe people like me would be the backbone of the network, we know the technical details and are capable of expanding it. But we aren’t the target, the target is gamifying the app, adding subscription services (that never pay off) and selling more and more ad space in the app.

And perhaps the biggest issue: their Core Features were supposed to be based on Bluetooth LE, and having location authentication happen when two bluetooth devices handshake and log that to be later uploaded as a proof of contact.
Yet
They no longer sell Bluetooth sentinels, but NFC cards which cannot passively handshake with other devices. Worse still, not a single answer on how this changes the project, or what the new cards add to the “network”

I believe the original “sentinels” were a failed Tile competitor, and they found a way to implement them into their game. In fact, when you got the old bluetooth sentinels you had to update them for it to work with the app. Then they sold out of them, so they found the cheapest thing (NFC Cards) and starter selling those for another ridiculous markup.
This is all speculation, but pretty well supported speculation.

XYO is a scam and not worth your time or money.

from 27 Nov 2020 until 10 Jun 2021 i collected 53000 coins that were exchanged to 3917 XYO worth about 24$. i have active referral sometimes 2 (5 in total) and i bought sentinel that boost rewards x10. The phone is mining 24/7 with above boost for all this time. Probably just about paying for elecricity it uses... I can imagine without 10x boost and no refferals You CAN'T reach withdraw treshold for over a year, and even then You recieve 25$ cose that's what 53k of tokens is worth now.... Waste of time and energy.

Total scam. Save yourself some time.

TERRIBLE I completed a survey for 10000 coins and never received, I pay 34 something a month. Fock them. I am out.

I've been trying to get an answer for over a week I will get a human saying that they're human through messenger but whenever I ask this damn question a chatbot replies without an answer or no one replies on fb on there post 🙄 Im a pro user, I'm asking if the video reward you earn is 10-18 coins if I was to get the sentinelx ble or the sentinel NFC does that mean I'll be getting 120-216 coins for the video rewards, does that go for geomining aswell or can anyone with a NFC or ble confirm this

Been using this for a few years and have made good money with it, only small technical issues as with every app

Almost 3 months later and still haven’t received my sentinel I paid $28 for. They keep sending me the same generic response and won’t refund me. Shipping hasn’t updated since 2 days after it was supposedly shipped. Fake company, stole my money! Stay away

Good project with interesting and useful products. Big enough community all over the world. Constant development. Nice support. The price is getting well day by day. What can I say more? I like XYO, so I’m in.

I love what XYO is trying to accomplish and want to be there when they get there. Their products are great, BUT, anyone try to contact XYO about order issues? Can't call them cause they don't answer incoming calls. CUSTOMER SUPPORT NEEDS WORK! They do however have an on line support site that helps with technical issues, but nothing that address product order issues. I think the company is great with the one exception of lack of good customer support. When XYO starts taking calls to support customers needs, then I will give them 5 STARS.

This company, more specifically the crypto is more amazing everyday. I am beyond excited for what the future holds for XYO!!!
