The t shirts came, one was missing a letter, then after a wash the tops shrank so cant even wear them now. They were only the lucky dip ones, but i wouldnt purchase again and has put me off buying any more clothes from the brand. I went in to the lucky dip box to get a gauge of the quality to buy more, but i wont be purchasing again

A place a order 5 days ago still not shipped it I had to cancel don't order from this company I had to give it one star because just was messing about

Terrible company to deal with! I placed two orders because I actually don't mind the clothing given its price point; it's cheaply made, but the cost is low and it's acceptable for the gym. However, their customer service is appalling! They got my order wrong on both occasions. For the first order, I requested a navy hoodie, but they sent a black one instead. In my second order, I included several items, including a mystery box labeled as a hoodie, but they sent me a dreadful sweatshirt. A sweatshirt is NOT a hoodie, so this is an incorrect item. I've seen other reviews here where others have faced similar issues. Their response is that they label it as 'various,' which is nonsense! If you label an item as something, that’s what you should deliver. Moreover, stating that it's non-returnable violates long-distance selling laws. My advice is to avoid this business. I certainly won't be purchasing from them again.

Great clothing, love everything I've bought from them. Sadly 4 starts just due to delivery timings. A few of my orders I've waited over a week to receive. When it states within 48 hours dispatch on the website, it's a bit frustrating. Will still order from them in the future as the quality of clothing is great, just be prepared that your order might not come on time.

It’s all good as long as you don’t want to return something, then no response from customer support at all.

The clothes fit like crap. Loose waist and tight shoulders. Not made for athletes. They sent the wrong stuff and wouldn’t return it due to some hidden info in the item description so they have just conned me. I bought a mystery box HOODIE and got sent a sweatshirt (which was crap) when I complained they said they won’t return it as it has ‘various’ next to it meaning it could NOT BE A HOODIE!! Who on earth would know that! It’s an excuse to clear out sweatshirts as nobody would want them.
After wearing the T-shirt and sweatshirt I am extremely disappointed and won’t be buying anything ever from here and will be advising everyone I know to do the same.
They even turn insta comments off because they know people will publicly complain clearly.

Good fit comfortable and good quality. Will definitely shop again and will also recommend to others.

Honestly blown away by this £5 mystery box. Didn’t expect much for the price but it completely exceeded expectations – the quality is unreal and you can tell a lot of care goes into their gear.

Delivery was super quick too, which is always a bonus. Big shoutout as well to the team for how hard they were working at the Arnold Expo at the NEC Birmingham recently – you could see the effort and energy they were putting in all weekend.

Have been told that their website and small-print states alternatives such as 'sweatshirts' may be sent to a customer.

I dont wear them and it is not what was advertised as to what I was paying for.

Deceiving, dishonest and disgusting.

Will never order from again, and will be advising others not to.

Bought a hoodie lucky dip. Wasn't fussed about what I got just wanted to try out some new gear for the gym. Ordered the hoodie lucky dip because I wanted a hoodie...however when it arrived it wasn't a hoodie just a sweatshirt. I don't wear sweatshirts because I don't like them. Contacted customer services and got the response "lucky dip items state various, which means you may get a different style or type to the one you have ordered". I mean I get when it says various you might get different styles of hoodies but a completely different style of clothing...not really. You'd think one prerequisite of a hoodie lucky dip would be the item would have a hood. Apparently not according to this company.

Ordered a HOODY mystery box, and received sweatshirts instead. On reporting this to their customer services, we were told, no refunds or exchanges on lucky dip products, and the term “various“ in the description of the contents of the hoody boxes obviously means sweatshirts too.

The hoody’s and sweatshirts are listed separately on the website for a starters. This is very misleading and the email response was condescending at best.

The product I ordered is nice, but the site small.
The negative side I can not reach them for exchange or anything. Tryed customer service, social media, nothing seem to working!! So make sure you don't want to send item back.....

Bought some joggers from explosive ape and material is cheap and thin and was sent the wrong colour Im not gonna use this company again and gonna look for another

Purchased some items for a birthday present on the 6th March. Got no notifications or confirmation. Waited til the 16th to email and ask where my order was. Got one email back saying that it was 4-5 day shipping after ordering. Still nothing days later so I emailed again to be told there had been a stock shortage and my order would be sent out. Finally got my order. I ordered a ladies joggers ans matching hoody. When I looked inside for the label it had been cut out in both items. Like they had purchase cheap items and re branded with their own logo. The joggers were different lengths and the tops I had also purchased were huge. I went back to their website and it’s not very clear how to return. No portal to make it easy to return. You have to email them and then you get sent an address to return. I’m am still waiting for acknowledgment a week later that they have recieved my return.
As a buyer I want to know I’m buying good quality clothing and that I’m buying from a company that cares. I feel Xplosive ape is a mess. No real customer service and making it not very clear how to return. I will not be ordering anymore from here. Communication is key and xplosive ape seem to have lost theirs

Affordable and very comfortable well made clothing.
Ive ordered a few bits now and the bundles are great value.

My 1st impression from them was good.
Ordered £40 worth of gym tshirts, low quality but ideal for the gym.
I then decided to order a mystery box of a hoodie and tshirt.
Tshirt was fine, size was correct, but the hoodie came very small.
Ordered a XXL, but according to their size guide it shows as a small XL at best.
Contacted them about the issue, to be then fobbed off with plenty of excuses and I was told their sizes are not as described and no return on a mystery box.
When you check their sizes, you would assume that is what you would get.
Not the case with them.
Im now left with a hoodie that doesn't fit and a company that has stopped replying to my emails.
In future I would recommend spending a little bit more, with a better company who wants repeat customers.

Ordered about 9 diffetent T-shirts and hoody

PROS:
-good selection ,
-variety of styles ,
- materials seem good quality and thickness etc unlike some other sites /brand that skimp on material make it thin or poor quality.
- replys and fixing issues when emailed was prompt
-price, good price and deals for what you get.
-hoody fits great, comfy,warm

CONS:
- Order / delivery time. Supposed 48 hours, took over 3 weeks
Says it was dispatched after a few days, tracking showed it had been sent to a distribution hub, sat there for a week, i got in touch with company , they said they would chase it up, if package was lost refund or replacement, told them replacement . Several more days go by new enail been dispatched, sent to same delivery hub, sat there for a bit before being sent to a delelivery depot then few more days delivered to me. ALL IN ALL 3 and bit weeks from ordering to receiving items.

-SIZE , 9 different tshirts all different sizes . Im 6ft 5 , ordered 3XL (usual orders elsewhere are mix of 2XL/3XL)
They are all wide enough very similar on width, but length wise none are long enough for gym work if doing any lifting/pressing movements if you dont want it lifting up and showing midrift / stomach. Treadmill,bike, flat bench movements prob fine. Anything that raises your arms above head/lat raises/pull downs or deadlifts etc where your stretching its going to lift up.
Compare to my 2XL and 3XL cheap mountain warehouse tshirts and they are all about 6-8 inch shorter in length.
(Where as hoody is massive and fits great)
-think if i had went 4XL they might be sightly longer but would be like a tent
-website when veiwing products on mobile phone.

THINGS TO DO DIFFERENT/IMPROVE
-website was a big issue when browsing in my phone, click tshirts and it lists every single tshirt and page starts to crash after loading up so many items when browsing and your not even half way through. E.G - 500 products/styles of tshirt that have 10 colour varietys each instead of just having the 500 displayed and you click on one of the products which opens up a bigger detailed page with the option of 10 colours you can click through in the oen page where the image changes to the colour.INSTEAD it will have all varietys of those 10 colours on the main tshirt result page as you scroll down. That turns the result page from 500 possible tshirts rsults on the page to 5000. Which it can display about 30 at a time before click load more at the bottom page . After several clicks the page statts to slow because its now trying to display over 700 pics of tshirts and crashes, so you cant even see all the styles . Worse yet you click a tshirt you like the look of, it opens up the new page with more info on so you can better look, when you click back to go to the results again, its back at the start not where you left off and have to keep scrolling to the bottom and clicking load more hoping the page doesnt become unresponsive.

Other suggetsion would be some tshirts or hoodys with smaller icon or where the logo was smaller and matched in with the colour of the top so its more discrete . Just as an option . Have a label /tag on the side or at waist band so it can be more casualy worn out
