The process was seamless, the portal intuitive and easy to follow and upload items and documents. Regular updates received so I was constantly updated on where we were at in the process giving reassurance and peace of mind. My conveyancer in particular was a lady called Stacy Walsh. She was exceptional. Regular personal comms via email and calls when necessary. A total breath of fresh air and it made what can be a stressful situation quite easy and pleasant in the end. I would definitely recommend. 5 starts all round. Well done.

I am dissatisfied with how my mortgage application was handled. I completed my part of the process on 09/03, promptly providing all requested documents on the same day. It was clearly stated from the outset that the mortgage needed to commence on 01/04/2026.

On 1 April, I noticed that my previous bank had taken the monthly payment instead of the new lender, Bank of Ireland. I contacted Your Conveyancer and was informed that my case had not been completed. I was then told that, due to the Easter break, completion would not take place until 10 April.

As a direct result of this delay, I incurred an additional cost of £421.92 to cover the period from 1 April to 10 April. This cost arose due to failures in progressing my application, despite me meeting all requirements on time and clearly communicating the required start date.

I also found the subsequent communication unsatisfactory, as I received unclear and unconvincing explanations that did not adequately address the issue or take responsibility.

I am concerned that, had I not proactively followed up, the process may have been delayed even further.

I dealt with Nicola who was brilliant throughout. I know the solicitors are representing the mortgage company, but they were absolutely brilliant in replying to my questions (I've not done this before) and were great at communicating with me throught the process.
