Ordered their Black Friday 2024 apparel. Unbelievable value, really cool and my friends have all been on already to order for themselves. It arrived incredibly quickly too!

Following my review below I was contacted by George. He was extremely polite and very helpful. Really keen to get feedback and resolved my issue fully. Occasionally orders don't quite go to plan but how a company deals with it when it happens says a lot - the way George at Y1 has dealt with it has been superb. So I'm more than happy to re-adjust my star rating....many other companies could learn from this company.

Delivery times NOT as advertised. Waited over 3 weeks for an order. Unfortunately had to order from here as this is where a club has decided to use. Order has taken over 3 weeks to get to us and item missing when it arrived and completely missed off the packing label too. Thought I'd contact company - no phone number. No actual address, other that returns address given on website there's a ridiculous 'contact us' form on the website but which only allows you to go through a series of pop-up questions...most of which a irrelevant. The registered company address is in Cheshire, returns address is in Bristol....LinkedIn says they are London.....and one part of our, as yet incomplete, order came via airmail from Latvia! The stuff that arrived did look good, but I do think expensive for what it is. If your club or organisation haven't decided to go with this company, I'd advise them not to (judging by other comments so would others) and I won't be buying from them again. If as a company your processes aren't up to it then regardless of you products you are not going to hold customers.

Poor customer service. Bought a £180 stock with stain marks on the front. Customer service had no interest in helping with a refund or replacement. Very disappointed considering how much time they are spending promoting to become a market leader. Customers and word of main is the main point to concentrate on guys. Will go back to the bigger manufactures in the future.

Club commissioned them over 2 seasons ago and they have so far been pretty horrendous! Got the shirt colours wrong initially (meaning no shirts for a full season while they went back to suppliers), the sizing guides (as mentioned in other reviews) bear absolutely no resemblance to actual sizing, stock control is the worst I have ever experienced in over 30 years of playing/ordering kit, customer service is slow, unresponsive and absolutely no ownership taken, and there is no contact number to seek urgent assistance when orders go wrong - which they do frequently judging by these reviews, my own experiences so far and those of my fellow club members.

Then, when they choose to use the undisputed worst courier in the history of mankind (DHLecommerce...check their reviews out!), Y1's customer service just pretends to be doing something about the 4 missed delivery days and the (so far) 4x last-minute, on-the-day rearrangements...while actually doing nothing! Apparently they were "urgently" checking DHL had the correct address and why they kept rearranging 3 days ago...but I find out tonight that they still haven't contacted them. So I'm sat here hoping it's 5th time lucky tomorrow because Y1 just flat out refuse to do anything about it.

Not sure what the rest of their branded merchandise is like (I refuse to try when the rest of the service is so appalling), but I would strongly encourage all clubs to stay very clear of this business if consdering clubwear.

Bought a £275 stick 8 months ago. Cracked on the inside. Contacted their customer service department- not interested. Stay well away from sticks by this manufacturer.

Terrible customer service. There’s no contact telephone number and they don’t respond to emails unless totally bombarded. I ordered a stick on 27th (18 days ago) as a Christmas gift for my 10yr old son. (Order #40146). I’ve asked repeatedly when we will receive it but still no stick. So ignore the timeline given!! No one informs u of anything it’s only because I’ve tried every avenue possible that I eventually got a response from someone sensible (thank you Jodie) 😡. I’m told I might get it by Weds next week

We urgently needed an invoice for customs as the scanned copy the courier company sent was unclear. Abu on the online chat answered immediately and we had the invoice within minutes ! Impressed !!

Ordered a backpack. Wrong colour delivered. Abu at Y1 Customer Services has been excellent. Refunded my return postage cost 2 minutes after I sent the proof of postage.
Replacement backpack not delivered yet but I've received all emails re the new shipment.

Definitely recommend!! The sticks are amazing quality with a variety of different designs and ranges percentages of carbon. It really involves power into my play. They help you find the right stick with the way you play with detailed descriptions and a stick quiz found on their page. Great quality but also great customer service - fast delivery. Definitely worth checking out!!!

Have always enjoyed using their sticks too. Would recommend.

Avoid where possible - There is a massive size discrepancy between what is described on the website and what they actually deliver. I ordered a 2XL goalie top for my 12 year old child based upon the description on the web site only to find it was too small.

One has to question whether it is an actual goalie smock or just a random XL sports top as it does not fit over any of the goalie armour.

There is no telephone number on their website and so far customer services are non existent.

Frustratingly slow - NOT RECOMMENDED

Order placed 5 October and no sign of it being dispatched yet (16 November) despite the order status saying it’s been ready for at least a couple of weeks.

Received this by email from them today;

“To give you an update on your order, I am afraid that the logistics of bulk shipping orders and the required customs documents is causing us and our warehouse some issues and so this is taking some time to sort out. Please rest assured that we are working hard to resolve this as soon as possible. We cannot give an ETA as such at the moment as we aren't entirely sure why the consignment isn't being released but we are sending daily requests for updates on the situation so hopefully we will get this consignment released in the next week.”

There is no phone number anywhere for the company and it looks like their logistics is a shambles.

DO NOT BUY FROM HERE!! After receiving a faulty stick, Nicky Connell from Customer Services told us to return the damaged stick and they would pay for postage and packaging - £32! I have chased and chased and they have still not refunded me this and the new hockey stick is the poorest quality we have ever seen. Be warned!!! 5 emails later -still no response!

Ordered 23/10/21. After a hiccup with DPD returning the package to them after two weeks they eventually admitted to having lost it in their warehouse and a new order would be sent. It still hasn’t arrived and I have not had a response to my last two emails in the last week after it was estimated to arrive before Monday 6/12. Tracking shows Royal Mail are still awaiting receipt of the package they sent over 2 weeks ago.

Shan’t ever be ordering from them again.

Product was good but was completely ripped off for postage. I was charged £6.95 for express postage, however the posting method used was not express. There was no tracking and if I was to send a similar item it would’ve cost £3.68.

Even on Black Friday, super fast delivery - ordered it at 5pm on a Thu, arrived at 9am on the Sat. Really high quality profucts
