From initial enquiry through all meetings, dealing with Joanne, the Sales Executive at Towerburn View, has been a pleasure.
She has answered all of our questions, fully and precisely. If there has been a question where she has not known the answer straight away she has contacted head office, site manager etc, found out and come back to us promptly.

This is my first move in 36 years. I have just purchased one of the houses at Towerburn View in Shilbottle and moved in just over a week ago.
Throughout the whole process Joanne helped me with choosing the colours for my kitchen, bathrooms, flooring and carpets, communicating with me on a regular basis and keeping me updated with everything.
The service I’ve received from Joanne has been fantastic her professionalism, patience and support has been outstanding.

We'd been looking for a property in Northumberland for about 2 years and came across Wynyard by accident, when heading home from another unsuccessful visit to a new development.
We found the location and quality of Wynyard homes much better than many other places we visited, and despite downsizing from a 4bed to a 3bed, we have more space in our bedrooms than we had before.
The customer experience we received at Wynyard was outstanding. From initial contact and throughout, Joanne at Towerburn, went above and beyond and the way she explained everything fully, made the entire process with Wynyard stress free. Both the quality of the homes and customer experience we received from Joanne, influenced our decision to buy a Wynyard home.

We are currently buying one of the Glen houses at Towerburn View in Shilbottle. This is a big move for us from Kent. We are bringing my mum back home after many years in the south. So far the service we have recieved from Joanne has been fantastic and is one of the reasons we are buying at Towerburn. Travelling up constantly to view different developments was very tiring. Joanne's time, patience and professionalism so far has helped make the process so much less stressful than it could be. We are really looking forward to our move knowing we are in good hands.

This is my first move in 25 years. So, wanting to downsize but still wanting to live in the village which has been my base for 25 years so when Wynard chose to build a development @ Shilbottle (Towerburn View) Joanne was my first point of call. Joanne’s patience and understanding and support was so welcome when deciding to make that final move I knew I was in safe hands. Joanne kept me informed of what to do with my estate agent and solicitor ensuring I was able to secure my plot. Throughout the whole process choosing kitchen, bathrooms, and flooring she seemed to read my mind and knew what was suitable to the lifestyle that I lead. We Are About To Move into our New 4Bed House here In Shilbottle 🙏! We Came Here back in August 2025. To View The 3Bed Show House ? & we met Joanne at The Sales Office Who Was More Than Helpful To Assist Us With Our Viewing! & She Also Asked if We Would Like A Drink? & actually Made Us A Lovely Cup of Tea. (How Lovely) This 3Bed show House is Absolutely Beautiful. But Not Available To Buy Until End Of 2026? …. So We Drove to the nearest Beech At Alnmouth for A Little Stroll . After About a hour? Joanne Phoned Me And ask Us if we Would pop Back to View A 4 Bed Tweed? Which was Ready to Buy? With Carpets & Lawn All done! So She Went Above and Beyond to show us plot 4? Which We Are Now very close & excited To Move into our New? We Have Just Returned To Shilbottle To Do A House Demo on 1st/2nd November. & again Met By Lovely Joanne & Alex? The site Site Manager. who Also Went Above and Beyond To Show us Around The House Again and Explained Absolutely everything we Need To Know ! He Is Also Very Knowledgeable & pointed out Where The Heating pipes Are Running Through The House! So I’m Not Likely To Damage Them?if Im Drilling or putting Fittings up? I Can’t Fault Our Experience With This Company. & Now Hopefully Soon Be Moving Into Our Lovely New Home 🏠

We are really pleased with our new home and the service to date, Kerry at the Steadings office is so friendly, approachable has made our experience from the minute she took over brilliant!
Steve the site manager has been amazing, there are always snags etc with new builds but Steve has no excuses, he goes the extra mile to get everything sorted promptly and has a great way of making you feel really comfortable. Within a day of emailing Steve the snagging list he had contractors booked in, and the couple of issues we needed fixed asap, sorted the next day. He promised when we completed to look after us and he really is.

After being in a year the support from the team at Rennington Meadow has been brilliant. Nothing has been too much trouble for Mark or Jan, little things that I discovered like the patio door dropping, was quickly readjusted as soon as I mentioned it.

Joanne at the sales office was absoloutley brilliant through the whole process and couldn’t have made things easier for us. The house is lovely and Alex the site manager is very friendly and approachable and very willing to help with anything at all.

We bought at Towerburn View Shilbottle and have just moved in. Joanne in the sales office has been fantastic from first contact. On moving in we were given the site managers contact details for any issues or snags which i was quite surprised at because I've bought new build houses before and have had to go through a customer care department but Alex has been brilliant, great communication and gets things organised quickly.
We downsized and was a bit concerned about size but loving the layout of my new home, lovely big spacious dining kitchen, bedrooms really generous and doesn't feel like we have downsized at all. Location is perfect for us good links to the A1 and great pub and lovely restaurant in the village

Our experience of buying from Wynyard has not at all been pleasurable, I wouldn’t recommend buying from this builder at all , absolute zero customer service , like it has been echoed in other people’s experiences once they have your money no interest in their customers at all ,
I wish I’d researched before buying , as we wouldn’t have gone ahead !!
There are many amazing builders to buy houses from , stay clear of wynard and take your custom else where ( I wish we had )
we have bought from a builder previously and our experience with them was amazing so thought all builders had the same values..how wrong we were

We have been moved into our new property on Rennington Meadow since the end of March and couldn't fault any stage of our experience so far. Jan from the day we first viewed the estate has been brilliant and so welcoming even when we viewed the showroom 10 or 12 times! From day one of moving in Tosh our site manager ('the Boss') has been looking after us and has been great and any issue we need sorting he's on it or is updating us or giving us a knock to let us know progress. Buying a home is always stressful but the Team at Rennington Meadow make everything easier. Would highly recommend Rennington Meadow and Wynyard Homes.

Giving one star is been very generous in my opinion absolutely appalling builders. No customer service builds are cheaply done. They have destroyed our drive and front garden. THEY DONT CARE, Site manger assaulted my partner. These are the type of people you are dealing with. Please avoid buying, it's taken them years to sell these houses on Coniscliffe rise. PLEASE ASK WHY. Please ask any of the residents the experiences they have had. None have been pleasurable they will promise you the world, take your money no snagging lots wrong with houses.

Bought our first home together on the Rennington Meadow estate. After seeing the quality of workmanship and materials, no other show home could compare in the immediate area. Liaised with Joanne and site manager Tosh throughout the whole process. I couldn’t thank Tosh enough for how efficient he has been to have some imperfections/snags corrected. He’s a very approachable site manager who always makes himself available even if it’s just for some advice. Thanks again for making it a pleasant experience. Would recommend.

The staff on Rennington Meadows site in East Rainton have been excellent and have made a stressful and drawn out move from South to North easy and straight forward. The Sales Team, Joanne and Jan are friendly and approachable and have even been a shoulder to cry on when our house sale in the South was proving really difficult. They have a wealth of experience in the housing sector between them and their guidance has been helpful and much appreciated. Every member of staff that we have come into contact with on site has been friendly and courteous. In particular Tosh the Site Manager, very customer facing, polite and courteous with a good sense of humour. No problem big or small is too much trouble for him. Any issue is attended to promptly, tradespeople are accompanied by him to ensure issues are dealt with to his high standards and your satisfaction. Considering that we are living on a building site there is minimal disruption, site vehicles are moved immediately to allow you entry and exit from site and never any building debris left to obstruct roads or pathways. A very clean site, down to good site management by Tosh. We are enjoying living here and don't regret our decision to purchase a property on Rennington Meadows.

Moving from Cambridgeshire back to the North East and found the Rennington Meadow site at very early stages of the build. On every visit Joanne, Janet, Mark & Tosh were there to support and advise on all the detail of our first home purchase, they could not have been more helpful and we are thrilled with the plot we chose and the fixtures and finishes.

On moving in Tosh the Site Manager could not have been more helpful, checking in on us a few times a week to ensure all the snagging we needed was getting done, and to a high standard. All the extras and changes we asked for were completed as requested. I have worked as an Estate Agent selling new builds in the past and I know what to look for when it comes to build quality, and would highly recommend this developer and team to anyone looking to buy a new home.

Janet and Tosh made our move run as smoothly as possible. The move was a difficult one because we were relocating from Lancashire. Tosh is there at the drop of an hat to deal with any minor issues and nothing is too much trouble. He called in ever few days after the move to make sure everything is ok.
