This company handled a third-party…

This company handled a third-party accident claim on my behalf, they have now invoiced me for £10,000, I now have to fight them to avoid paying for an accident that was not my fault, they try to sue the Insurance Company for £57,000 worth of car hire for just two months!!! they requested my personal bank statements and then asked personal questions about money. I’ve given to my 13 year-old daughter. I now have to take this company to the ombudsman. This company is sick and vile and avoid it all costs.

This company is shocking

This company is shocking, terrible customer services, the most stupid emails being sent asking questions that were already answered to Winn England, the two company's don't speak, first handler hadn't a clue, second one seems to be no better, daft questions on email, no phone calls to ask or updates, would not recommend at all.

We’re sorry to read your negative review.

We do want to confirm that Winn Solicitors Limited is a separate law firm to Winn Solicitors (Scotland) LLP. The Vehicle Damage case and Personal Injury case were handled concurrently.

Winn Solicitors (Scotland) LLP require to carry out their own client identity checks, in accordance with the Anti Money Laundering Regulations. As a result, this information was correctly requested by both firms.

Any other information in respect of the Vehicle Damage case was not shared with Winn Solicitors (Scotland) LLP until Winn Solicitors Limited confirmed that they were unable to settle the Vehicle Damage elements of your claim with the opposing insurer directly. They passed the Vehicle Damage case for litigation to Winn Solicitors (Scotland) LLP on 20 May 2026.

We note the relationship between the two law firms was explained, on two occasions, during telephone conversation with your Personal Injury clam handler in April 2026.

We're sorry to read your negative review. However, we note that a telephone conversation was had between yourself and your file handler on 27th January 2026 – your file handler advised you that unfortunately, we were unable to pursue a loss of earnings claim as your monthly pay slips did not show a loss.

We asked for the losses evidence from you to review and ensure that we were correctly advising you – after reviewing this evidence, we concluded that it was not a claim we could pursue and that your personal injury claim would progress without a losses claim running parallel.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused, however, it is our job as your instructed solicitors to act accordingly and to correctly advise you on what claim we can successfully put forward.

I note that your personal injury claim was then submitted into negotiations on 28th January 2026, and a settlement was reached on 22nd April 2026.

As payment was received by the other side and raised to you 30th April 2026, your file is in the process of being closed and a letter confirming this will be sent to you in due course.

If you wish to discuss this further, please don't hesitate to contact us.

Absolute sharks, claim they will return you to preloss Condition, dont update you, dont fight your corner, simply accept the lowest offer from the other insurer & force it on you.

Then take an extortion fee
