Mark Sheward came and designed our new kitchen.We came to the store to look at the design.Mark is very confident in his ability and has a wealth of experience.He listens and is more than happy to make changes if required.He designed a beautiful kitchen,I am excited to see the end result.

We had excellent customer service from Mark Sheward from the Tunstall store he guided us through the process from design to choosing and was never pushy he gave us the time we needed to decide he gave us excellent ideas of things we hadn't thought of overall we were really pleased our kitchen is due to be fitted on 12th January Mark has helped with the changes that we have made and it was absolutely no problem I would definitely recommend him if you need a good designer

Mark Sheward was knowledgeable and explained everything throughly, nothing was too much trouble. His design was just what we wanted and needed for our small bathroom. If we need anything designing again we will be back to see Mark in a flash!

Placed C&C order and when I got to the store my order was ready and waiting on a trolley,I was in the store for less than 5 minutes and the lady on the till who I think is named Rosie was very efficient and polite.

We came and purchased 13 fence panels off yourselves. We had a few issues with the sizing et cetera and were helped massively by the store manager Karl, because half the panels which were £700 worth had been the wrong size,
He helped us out immensely. Thank you very much. 

We have just ordered a kitchen with the help of Mark from the Tunstall branch. Obviously the kitchen is not installed and fitted yet but we have had fantastic service from Mark who has made everything simple and easy for us as well as being friendly and approachable.

The person I was booked to see was ill, so it got cancelled.

I paid £9k for ceramic worktops and upstands.

Once fitted it became very apparent that the measurements had been taken incorrectly - the gap on the upstand being a couple of mm at one end and over a cm at the other end - they have then filled with mastic.

I complained and initially they stated It was the wall; however we’ve had a level on the wall and it’s completely straight.

I complained on several occasions but they refused to acknowledge my complaint and will not come and view/see the job.

I asked the local store for the contact details/legal company details so I could see if I could raise a formal complaint/claim and they refused to give me the information.

Very poor after sales service; take your money and run attitude.

Staff are really helpful and knowledgeable in this store, great service, will definitely be back

We decided to have our first new kitchen in 46 years of being married, we went into Wickes Tunstall to have a look at their offerings, we were spoilt for choice and needed some advice, just then Mark Sheward made contact with us and after plenty of good ideas and advice we arranged for Mark to come and visit us, since then we have placed our order for a new kitchen, Mark's help and advice proved vital, he was very knowledgeable and professional, he talked us through every process from ordering the kitchen to installation and completion, a great guy and a pleasure to do business with.

Amazing experience designing and buying our kitchen thanks to Mark Sheward. He made us feel welcome and at ease throughout the process. Highly recommend Mark and will be back in the future for him to design our bathroom.

Got to my appointment 10 mins early and was surprised when the guy just kept looking at my piece of paper with measurements. I asked if he could help me, to which he replied "potentially"!!!
To chivvy him on a bit, and frankly to try and evoke a little interest I showed him photos of the bathroom i was updating. But he just kept looking at them too!!!! I was little surprised at his lack of enthusiasm so I went a little further and asked if he was going to transfer my paper measurements onto his computer?? His response, "oh no, it doesn't work like that, this is not a design appointment, just a consultation!!" Apparently he'd not got time in the hour slot I'd booked!
Neither him or his colleague looked as if they had just finished with another potential buyer, nor anyone else loitering in the "design" area, plus the fact I'd arrived early, I walked out!
The moral of the story is remember to book a 2 hour appointment if you'd like some help with design!

I popped in to pick up some wood stain and paintbrushes but wasn’t too sure what I actually needed for the job. The staff were all really friendly and took the time to explain the different options, helping me choose the right products. It made the whole experience easy and stress-free, and I left feeling confident about what I’d bought. Great service and a well-stocked store.

Mark Sheward was absolutely brilliant. The project started with a measure up and brief conversation about some of the design ideas I had. We then had several reviews to go through each and every detail - There were no hard-sells, no pushing me towards one option over the other, instead we looked at all the options and tried out the combinations in store. I made some last minute alterations and Mark was incredibly accommodating. It was a great experience whether talking kitchens or hobbies or anything in between, it felt like a joint up and really personal plan for my kitchen which I was thrilled with. If I was ever unsure or said "I want to do something like this but I don't know how best" Mark would always have a great range of examples and options to choose from. 10/10!
