Wickes - Stockton Anmeldelser 

Living nightmare , ordered our Wickes bathroom from the Stockton branch Durham and unfortunately our bathroom wasn't measured up right we are still in the fitting process and it has been delayed, issues were , 4 boxes short of tiles for one wall and the wall wasn't measured up right so the shower board past the shower tray there is a 45mm gap , I have raised the issues but basically they don't want to know about the gap , the bathroom fitter actually told the designer how he had miscalculated the quantity of tiles for the wall , so after more phone calls and emails than I can remember and a conversation with the installation manager who knows about the delays and the gap at the bottom of the shower board instead of the clean lines we were promised by the designer with the 3D brochure. So we are pensioners without a functioning bathroom having to lift heavy buckets of water to flush the loo which is difficult for my wife who has fibromyalgia and very often has pain in her hands and we feel abandoned as customers feeling pressured that we have to except a second rate bathroom because the calculations were so wrong , so I am stressed , disillusioned, disappointed and I think the phrase is never again and I thought Wickes were a trusted brand , our nightmare isn't over yet but I wanted to share my experience with you all and I will hopefully update this review at a later stage.Update , our bathroom fitter came up with a compromise for our bathroom to get rid of the gap , it isn't our first choice bathroom but to be honest we are both exhausted and totally fed up with the whole saga , so we go on a long haul holiday on the 11th November and our bathroom still won't be finished or functional for us to use and today just to add to our horrendous experience the siphon on the new toilet would not seal so water was leaking into the bowl , so I rang the Stockton store and my message was coveyed to the bathroom design team that we needed a new part for the toilet and I was promised they would let me know what's going on I didn't receive any call back the customer service is appalling.

We have had excellent help and advice on the re-design of our 17 year old bathroom by Zoe Airey Collier at the Stockton branch. Zoe listened to our plans and helped us chose tiles, white goods, taps etc. She was very knowledgeable & professional throughout the process. We would recommend Zoe as very capable Design Consultant.

Took back some flooring to replace for new pack and buy more.

Eleanor was very helpful and friendly the return was straightforward and no problems

Went with an idea in mind of what I wanted for my kitchen and was given great advice by Rob, I’ve ended up getting an amazing kitchen with top appliances at a great price, I felt I was listened to, a great experience from start to finish 😀

Another great experience from Craig who found me a top deal for a cordless angle grinder when I was about to head elsewhere to get it cheaper. Always happy to help the few times ive spoken with him.

Craig helped us with an order which I had cocked up, he refunded the incorrect items I’d mistakenly ordered and took us to the aisle with the correct items and helped us to buy the right items for the best price! He went out of his way to help us and was friendly and super courteous throughout our time with him! Excellent customer service skills a credit to the Portrack Wickes branch!!! 😊

The design consultant, David Staines from Wickes in Stockton Portrack Lane, did a great job measuring my kitchen, and the new kitchen installation all fits in nicely, just as I wanted it; he was very helpful in making sure everything was done the right way.

I met David today for a kitchen design appointment. He was incredibly helpful in designing and showing me a much better layout for my kitchen which makes better use of space and storage and much more aesthetically pleasing overall. Really nice friendly guy too, a credit to Wicks.

We are thrilled with our new kitchen our consultant David Staines made us feel confident in our choices .It’s 13years since we last planned a kitchen and being made aware of all new products was very exciting I particularly like my AEG Matt sapphire hob it’s so easy to use and clean! 😊

All was great from the start with Dave the designer at Stockton store, delivery guy’s to Kevin the fitter. The only problem we have is the hob one ring is marked under the glass on the large ring the first time using it. All rings have been used with the same pans. But only one marked underneath not on top .

Just bought a kitchen from wicks omg amazing lovely girl called zoe came out to my home measured chatted about what I wanted.she was very knowledgeable about everything.she designed my kitchen exactly how I wanted id had a rough few days before I met zoe as moving is so stressful zoe from wicks made me smile and when she showed me what she had done I honestly was overwhelmed thank you zoe for all your help your kindness and obvious your design for me if I could give 100 stars it wouldn't be enough thank you now let's get down for the bathroom one amazing lady credit to her job also id like to add the price was totally in my budget wasn't expensive as id imagined also zoe came to see me today re bathroom she bought me a lovely candle 😊

From the initial design through to delivery and the final build, Wickes delivered an excellent service. Everything ran to plan with no major issues, and the regular updates throughout made the process so much more convenient than managing it on my own.
The installation team at Piervale were also brilliant—their workmanship was top-notch, and they kept me loop-in on every decision during the fit. I couldn't be happier with the end result and wouldn't hesitate to use Wickes again.

I bought some tiles back in June this year. I needed to return 3 packs of them as i ordered too many. Since the 3rd July I have been trying to get them to come for them and give me a refund. Now today I've spoken with a lovely lady from customer service and she has said that the supplier will not come for them as its past my 30 days . I explained to her it is now but I've rang every other day to get these sent back and no one has done anything about it, its not my fault the 30 days have expired. So now I'm not entitled to a refund and its over 140 pounds. Im disabled and live on my own its ridiculous how they treat people. I've asked for a manager to ring me as im taking this further, but I know I won't get a call .so it will be legal advice I need. And to the person who reads this and asks for more information to get this sorted dont bother as im still waiting for your company to sort out my bathroom carry on.
