Wickes - Maldon Anmeldelser

Preordered my garden tools on line, super quick service and Linda was super friendly and helpful.

Lovely place to visit. Staff always friendly

I have using the Maldon store for 12 years now and always very helpful and never had any issues Definitely highly recommend.
Always loads of stock and click and collect is very good.👍

I would like to thank David Mathews and the team for helping us source all the items needed for our community project as well as supporting our cause. Much appreciated.

I spent my Friday night in Wickes (boy how my life has changed).. but what a fantastic experience. I’ll be honest, I do most of my shopping online, but due to the current sale they have on, I gave Wickes a go. Marky B was exceptional from the start, knowledgeable about where each product I needed was, as well as helping load everything I purchased into the car. I’m going back today to hopefully buy a kitchen. More people like Marky B please Wickes, you’ll be inundated with new customers just like me. 6/5 score if I could.

Had a very strange experience today in the Maldon store . At least 8 staff. 2 customers in the store so it really was very quite. . Approached the cashier as I had a quick question about a plumbing item. Was told that they there was no one available to help. I could clearly see staff chatting . I thought she was having a joke until she carried on sorting some paint pots out. I can’t remember the last time I complained but the customer service left me speechless. I understand there was a delivery but surely you have a store to run.i said I was happy to wait but got nothing back. Was very awkward. I left empty handed and used another store who were more than happy to help.

Emily has been a pleasure to work with and has provided a first class service.
She listened to my requirements when she visited and had great ideas on how to make the most out of the space available, keeping in mind the best look for my kitchen.
She has been available when I had questions and fully explained the whole buying/installation process.
I would definitely recommend Emily if you are considering having a kitchen fitted.

Such an easy process Emily came to our house and measured everything and we met up to tweak a few things
She was not pushy and that’s very rare
Everything was made really easy

David M at Wickes Maldon consistently provides a truly exceptional customer experience. He is incredibly knowledgeable, approachable, and takes time to ensure everything is exactly right. His personable manner makes my regular visits there easy and stress free, he is a real credit to the organisation and highly recommend Wickes as a result.

Thank you Sasha , Wickes Maldon for helping sort a kitchen delivery out for me

Can’t thank Dave M enough at the Maldon wickes he kindly donated a tool shed for our football club Maldon Saints YFC. Highly recommend.

Purchased a new blower heater yesterday 1/12 2025 got it home plugged it in and the thermostat is not working...Why whatever we buy never works and has to be returned...

Very pleasant staff as aways great service

Helpful friendly staff with Mark ,in charge of the building supplies department ,resolving a problem I had with one of the products without any drama , leaving me feeling I had been listened to and dealt with appropriately. Have been using the store regularly since moving to the area and will continue to do so.

Only went there for a can of fence paint but came out with 42 bags of topsoil instead, it was an absolute bargain. The fella working by the entrance (Marky B) couldn’t have been more helpful, going out of his way to put them through the till and load them into my car with me.

Helpful friendly staff. One staff member Markie. B helped me load up my car.

We have now had our kitchen installed for almost 5 months so wanted to now do a review.
We are first time buyers on a budget and also ‘DIYers’. My partner has a construction background so we are not complete amateurs.
After speaking to the kitchen team in maldon and having them come and measure we purchased a kitchen from their budget lifestyle range to keep costs down. With the actual kitchen units ect we are happy with them, they look smart and you wouldn’t necessarily know they are the cheaper range, that being said they do dink very easily, we have sandpaper and touch up colour paint at the ready as we have needed a few touch ups that just happen naturally whilst using a kitchen.

The reason for the 3 stars is solely based on my overall experience. I trusted the kitchen design team to work out what i needed, we spoke through lots of different options and worked out whats best for my small space. But we have been left with way too many plinths and cornice, which we paid for, and have been told the computer works out measurements so thats not possible, but there is genuinely no where for it to go, and unfortunately i have just been completely ignored. We had something else un delivered with the kitchen and that took 4 months to be refunded too. Every email i sent regarding the missing item i also asked about the return of materials that are just going to go to waste if we keep them, and i just get completely ignored on the subject. Its feels very much out of sight out of mind for them. I even offered to drop them off to the store and i dont want the refund just so they dont get wasted, and still nothing.

I now need other items for the kitchen (edging tape) but i dont even want to contact them as just feel they cant be bothered.
Overall i like my kitchen, but dissatisfied with customer service definitely.

Friendly and helpful service. special thanks to Mark for the help.

Mark and Matt in Wickes Maldon were very helpful.
Brilliant service!

Had a great experience in Maldon branch. Edith visited our property and designed a kitchen. We then visited the store twice to finalise the plans. Our surveyor is booked in and a start date has been arranged. Edith has been fantastic and really made us believe in the Wickes product. Thank you very much
