i love Wickes - but i sent a review in to their own site at their request on 3 July. The product was Forest Garden Premium Fence Panels. These panels were a shabby construction. Not a fault of Wickes but i thought they may feedback to me

From our first visit to Wickes to look at kitchens Mandeep Kaur proved very helpful. She took time to make us aware of our choices and explain things clearly to us. She visited our home to make the design and listened to our ideas and offered her own. We then made 2 or 3 visits to Mandeep to discuss changes to the design and she was always very helpful and patient and willing to give time us time to think things over. During the installation Mandeep was always on hand to help us with queries and quickly solved any issues we had. Thank you Mandeep.

My new kitchen from Wickes has been a good experience from start to finish. Mandeep Kaur, the designer, understood exactly what I required very quickly and created a great design. She was so friendly and helpful, I can't speak highly enough of her.
The kitchen was fitted by Michael Powell and, once again, a very experienced and skilful worker, he never stopped .. fantastic! Overall the Wickes experience, with their continuous communications from the outset has been really good.

Bought laminate flooring came back to get some more packs and in less than a week the price had gone up from £22 to £27:75 a pack it was still the same stock so it wasn’t if they had renewed the stock not happy

The kitchen designer Mandeep Kaur, created a very beautiful and functional kitchen. She gave sound advice and nothing was too much trouble. Mandeep has very good personal skills and makes sure you are fully conversant with the process of fitting in a new kitchen.
The kitchen fitter was Richard Sutherland who was very skilled at his job. Nothing was too much trouble and he overcame a series of challenges to create a wonderful kitchen.
He is both a grafter and a perfectionist, hence I have a wonderful kitchen and utility room.

The following review was posted in January 2026, Trustpilot sent me a link to provide additional information which I did. The post was then removed from the Trustpilot site. Since then no one has tried to to contact me, I still have the problem.

In 2023 I purchased a kitchen from Wickes, around 6 months ago I started to notice distortion on a panel next to the extractor hood. Sometime after that I started to see a rippling along the bottom edge of some of the cabinet doors. Whilst still covered by the warranty I contacted Wickes and received a call from Wickes customer services and explained the problem in more depth. As a result of that call I supplied pictures of the problems as requested. 2 Weeks later I was asked to supply more pictures which I did these were for the kitchen manufacturer to view. Shivani then E mailed me with the following;-
This issue appears to have been caused by moisture ingress whereby water from spillages, cleaning or steam has dripped down the unit and gathered at the bottom of the fascias, penetrated the surface and causing the core material to expand and the laminate to bubble and peel. This is not a manufacturer fault and is not covered by the guarantee. I contacted Shivani to express my concern that I had been sold a kitchen that was not fit for purpose, every kitchen generates steam and has spillages so I would expect the materials used to be able to stand up to the environment. Her response was that their decision is final and the case is closed. If I have to accept that the kitchen I have purchased from Wickes should not be exposed to steam or spillages it does not resolve the distorted panel (now split) next to the cooker hood (not rippling ) I have tried to continue the conversation with Shivani but I am informed that "The Ticket" is closed. Can someone help?

Recently enquired about a new bathroom through Eva, was completely clueless as to what I wanted. She designed a lovely looking bathroom which I would never have thought of. Highly recommend!

Engaged with Wickes, Hereford during of a process of obtaining kitchen design advice and quotes. I sought designs and quotes from 5 companies.

Whilst ultimately I did not place an order with Wickes, I wanted to place on record the excellent quality of service I received from the store's kitchen planner, Mandeep Kaur. Mandeep could not have been more professional, efficient & effective. Her design advice was spot on with reference to the brief. I would add that the choice and quality of units and colours was also excellent. Ultimately, it was the flat pack delivery rather than ready assembled units that counted against Wickes, and a keener price for similar units sourced from a competitor.

We were very impressed with the service we received from Wickes. Design Consultant Eva-Marie Mullen produced an excellent installation plan for our replacement bathroom, she was very helpful and knowledgeable throughout. We would have no hesitation in recommending this company.

Eva was amazing. She designed our room quickly and the result was incredible. Eva has so much knowledge and made the whole design and order process so easy. Thank you Eva

I was in the Hereford store today, having to buy six 10x1m rolls of roofing felt. I am now in my 70’s and my lifting strength is no longer as good as it used to be. A young sales assistant named Theo came to my rescue, I found him to be friendly and polite. Not only did he load my trolly with these heavy rolls, he also came outside in the rain and helped to load them into my car. I am so very grateful Theo because in all honesty I would not have been able to do it alone. Thankyou Wickes, I have always found your staff to very friendly and helpful, and you have an excellent budding young member of staff in Theo. Barrie Collins

After visiting your shop today I’d just like to say a thank you to Tony in your Hereford shop for his customer service. I’d just been in after having an awful experience with a college in the local B&Q store which I walked out feeling I wasn’t taken serious because I was a ‘female customer who hasn’t got a clue’. Tony listened to my request and advised how to work out the levels of laminate I needed. Thank you.

Very helpful in ordering an item not in stock for home delivery. Very friendly staff.
