Wickes - Havant Anmeldelser 

I was returning kiln-dried sand (originally bought far too much) and in exchange buying hi-grade compost. The staff unloaded the heavy bags of sand (I have a badly torn shoulder tendon...), then effected the refund, then loaded my car with the compost... and whilst chatting (about the old steam train that used to run from Havant across the water to Hayling Island) told me about a local film club showing footage next Saturday about that very (now long-gone) steam train, and I bagged the last 2 tickets! OK, a bit niche there, but they have allways been kind and courteous and knowledgable.

Needed tin of paint 510 Sunbeam. Not on shelf but I asked the man on the checkout (sorry I don't have his name) and he said delivery not arrived but he then double checked for me and there was one in stock which hadn't yet been put in the shelf so he got it for me. He went the extra mile. This was at 18.30 24/07/25

We had terrible difficulty dealing with Customer Service, i spent a long time on the phone resulting in nothing!! So we decided to ask WICKES HAVANT to help us? Within two days our problems were sorted out, between Gary, Duty Manager, Adam Johnson and a young lady called Jo jo, we were able to make positive headway!!! I cannot thank Wickes Havant enough, nothing was too much trouble for them, Jo jo even took the time to help me to send photos of our “damaged units “ on my iphone, to Customer Service!! She went beyond being helpful, I was almost in tears, so grateful for the staff helping us. I am a pensioner,so often technology gets the better of me. Wickes Havant is my absolute favourite store, 5*****

I had an outstanding experience at Wickes Havant thanks to Bailey. From start to finish, he was patient, friendly, and incredibly helpful. What really stood out was how personable and approachable he was—not just with me, but also with my autistic son. Bailey took the time to ask questions, engage in conversation, and made us both feel comfortable and respected throughout. It's rare to come across such genuine, thoughtful service, and it made a big difference to our visit. I would recommend Wickes Havant solely based on the excellent service Bailey provided. We've recently had our kitchen designed by John at Wickes Havant. He helped us out with his ideas and experience, he suggested multiple options to match our budget. John was always available to respond to our enquiries even when the delivery of the kitchen was a little delayed.
Also hats off to Jess from the customer service team, she helped us with re-delivering and treated our order as a matter of urgency

Working through tile combinations when I needed a woman's opinion, queue Liz who not only gave me her honest opinion but also a lot of insight into grout colours and ultimately a better choice of product through her extensive knowledge and experience. Very happy customer 😊

Very happy with our new (mostly) Wickes kitchen. Becky from the Havant store was great to work with in helping us bring our rudimentary kitchen design to fruition. She was also really helpful in sorting out a refund when one of the 3m worktops turned out to be too short. Wickes were also very happy to replace things that were missing, although the one end panel that was damaged did take a while to arrive, especially after they initially sent the wrong colour! The kitchen fitter was pleasant and overall did a very good job. As our building work was completed earlier than planned, he came over to start things off a week before our scheduled install was due to begin, although this was mainly because his other job had been held up. The negative consequence of this was that he was then back and forth between the two jobs for over 3 weeks which was not ideal. Some days we'd see lots of progress and then nothing for a few days. Things that were not so good, and why this is a 4-star review, were the niggles between the store and the fitter when the worktop didn't fit, and having to return the worktops ourselves (which thankfully our builder helped us with). However we recognise that no project ever goes completely to plan and despite the delays the store did their best to help us get the kitchen we wanted. On the whole we had a positive experience and are very, very happy with the quality of the kitchen units and the look and finish of the kitchen that we're now enjoying every day!

Kevin at Wickes in Havant was a very helpful man, we had an issue regarding some tiles, he sorted everything out for us efficiently, we are now happy with our purchase.

Liz and Becky in the Havant store were excellent helping me with questions on paint choice and also kitchen design. Thank you to both for their time and interest.

Our original bathroom planner had moved stores so John Rogers took it over.He was efficient & helpful with a friendly manner.He spent time ensuring the items were suited to the en suite -even coming out to check our measurements.
When he realised that Wickes did not sell a non slip shower tray in the size we needed he found one from an online bathroom company...that's what I call really good service!
He also replied promptly to emails and was happy to spend time answering queries.
The delivery team were really good too and helped us with a really heavy item from our order that had arrived via a "Doorstep delivery" the day before so they offered to take it upstairs for us...again this is really good service!

Unfortunately we needed a replacement filler panel for under the sink.John contacted the relevant department & forwarded us a copy of the email.It turned up a day later free of charge....this made a hat trick of great customer service from John & the Wickes team!!

I’d give a nil rating if I could. After having two new bathrooms fitted and spending a considerable amount of money £20,000 to be exact. We are now left with a malfunctioning en-suite toilet, a shower tray that doesn’t drain, the shower niche that floods making it useless to store our shower gels and shampoo bottles in. Support from customer service is dilatory and incompetent so we are left calling out an independent plumber to sort matters out and stop the constant flow of water rushing through the toilet. As the Wickes fitter failed to fit accessible cut off points to all the sanitary ware we are now funding Portsmouth Water and Southern Water with a flow of water into their systems that we can’t cut off. We had a plumber from Wickes a couple of months back with instructions to replace the cistern, instead he played about with a screwdriver said it was fixed and left taking the replacement fitting away. That fix lasted a couple of weeks and hence now the toilet is unusable. Thank you Wickes for your lack of support. I can’t thank you enough.

I would 110% recommend John Rogers to customers! John was extremely helpful, kind and supportive with resolving an issue I was experiencing with my kitchen doors.

Fantastic service from Becky Carter! I was in the middle of a new home purchase where both the bathroom and kitchen needed replacing, it was a particularly stressful time. My first time using Wickes and the service, advice, attention to detail, fun, smiles and patience for me from Tina means that I will never use any of your competitors again. I do hope the upper echelons of Wickes management do get to see this review as you have one terrific employee there in Havant. PS I don't normally give reviews however in this instance it was well warranted.

Visited Havant Wicks twice yesterday. What could have been difficult visits with heavy awkward purchases ….Was made into a very smooth experience due to a lovely young man called Bailey. He did all the heavy lifting and took the stuff to my car .. A big thankyou for that Havant.

Very happy with the service Joseph at Havant has provided from start to finish. He is very knowledgeable on Wickes procedures & products. The overall experience has been extremely positive.

Jojo was very helpful whilst I was trying to navigate the paint section.
