It was quick and simple to book the measurement appointment. Coming in, the kitchen design was ready for my viewing and it looked great.

I was sent down Wickes by my husband, but when I got there unclear of what option to buy of bonding, plus was too heavy to carry. Ty was extremely helpful, pulled my trolley round the store, help me get the correct item as husband was then not answering. Plus assisted me to the car with the heavy goods. Excellent customer service, of which made a very frustrating experience of not knowing what to but pleasurable.

We had an appointment with Miaran Dil. We walked in to the appointment not sure on the level of work we wanted done and were working with vague figures of how much it would cost us at each level. We left knowing exactly what we would want to do, and everything feeling achievable and knowing our options. A plus was Miaran being such an approachable and nice guy, making the process super easy

Would give no stars but not possible to do so. Had a design appointment booked with one of the designers of the Hanworth branch for midday on Saturday 27th September.

On Thursday (25th September), she called to try to forcefully reschedule the appointment saying that Wickes don't normally do Saturday appointments even though we had been able to book this online a week prior. On the call, she kept trying to say the kitchen would be too expensive so that we ought to cancel. I explained that we were researching with various suppliers so a quote is useful for us to have. She ended the call saying she will let us consider further if we want to cancel and call tomorrow (Friday) to confirm the appointment.

Friday, no calls received so we still have the impression that the appointment is still going ahead on Saturday as I confirmed we were still interested on Thursday.

We received a call on Saturday 20 mins before the scheduled appointment and Ms Bhateja is asking if we still want the appointment to which I reply yes. She seemed a bit confused by this. It was clear that she was still angling for a cancellation. I reminded her that I said we still wanted this appt and that she never called on Friday as she said she would. She said she was super busy and then changed the topic swiftly.

When she attended, she literally spent less than 5 minutes (it should have been a 90-120 mins appointment with a full design and itemised quote as advertised by wickes) and effectively reeled off figures from the top of her head saying it would cost £15k-£20k (based on her extensive experience) and then left in under 5 minutes. We felt that our time was not respected and we were not provided with the promised service. It was completelt unprofessional.

We are appalled at the whole experience. If wickes have issue in offering free design appointments, then they shouldn't offer them but having liaised with various kitchen suppliers, it is the industry standard. Further, if employees do not wish to attend appointments on weekends, then perhaps, these shouldn't be offered as available times. Lastly, if a commitment has been made, then wickes and their employees should honour it with integrity. Its simply awful for an employee to work so hard to cancel or reschedule a booked design appointment & also at various points imply it will be too expensive without spending any time to understand our needs, budget etc.

We would definitely not recommend. In contrast, we had much more productive and effective appointments with B&Q, wren, howdens, magnet and ikea where staff were attentive and showed integrity and commitment to providing good service.

Worst experience ever. Bathroom Designer was clearly not interested in designing the bath room...one key word been repeated so many times was 'i dont have time', then my appointment was done in 5mins.

If there is no interest in designing bathroom and helping customers navigate through this quite complex provess, why even bother booking appointment for them? Such a waste of time, Very disappointed.

Needed help with paving slabs. Asked at the till if anyone could help and they called someone to meet me there. He loaded them onto my trolley and bought them out to my car without any fuss. I didn’t catch his name as he didn’t have a name badge on but he was a brilliant asset to your store.

Had a design appointment with Dil. I was hesitant at first but Dil put me at ease and made the whole process easy for me. Design was done to exactly what I was looking for and the finished kitchen looks great!

Came to Wickes hanworth with excess materials from a job, as busy as it was on a bank holiday Ben who assisted me made me feel valued and acted with professionalism, calmness and respect. He was a perfect example of who Wickes should have at front of house. Ben gets top marks from me and other employees should look at this type of behaviour and follow suit. Great experience, to make what is a headache situation into a smooth one

We have just bought and had fitted a new kitchen from Wickes in Hanworth. Annie Bhateja, the kitchen designer,and her team has been exceptional from start to finish. From our first meeting Annie was so helpful in helping us plan the kitchen in store. She then came to the house to measure and provide us with a detailed plan and images to help us visualise our dream kitchen. She has such expertise and knowledge and went the extra mile in helping us achieve our aims but within budget! This lady knows her stuff! Any queries were dealt with immediately and the fitters have been absolutely excellent also, a 5 star service from a top team, I would highly recommend if you need a new kitchen. Annie thanks a million, we love our kitchen! 🙏

Customer assistant yasin is a top lad always helps me carry my wood to the car no matter the length

My experience at Wickes was rather fantastic to be honest i didn’t quite understand how to find my items in this huge store luckily they had an amazing staff member who was present on the shop floor assisted me threw out my whole journey which i thought was pretty overwhelming ☺️. I would also like to add every time i enter the store i get greeted with such plight faces.

Andy is always a star. The guy always is happy to help me carry my heavy items to the car and even helps load them. He makes me want to buy more there as I get so much help and care. It's nice to have a person respect my disabilities.

Me and my family Came to store to see a kitchen in the showroom yesterday saw a gentleman call dil amazing service big smile answered a lot of questions very helpful indeed

I was left in a pickle by my wife after she tried to bleed the radiators and ended up flooding the kitchen and dropped the radiator key down the toilet. I went to Wickes to buy a new radiator key and some new vinyl flooring to replace the damaged ones. I encountered ammar who was very helpful in assisting me find the goods and advice on how to fit the flooring. Very friendly and knowledgeable in his field! Note to future self, do stuff yourself or ask ammar!

Brilliant experience when I walked into the store for the first time had a young man who helped me on the tiles he was very very helpful also would like to add whenever I do visit the store I’ve always showed respect by all the employees who currently work at hanworth Wickes massive shoutout to the staff

Since February 24 we have been trying to get issues resolved with Wickes on a new bathroom they installed, an impossible company to deal with, not once has any of their customer services personnel done what they have promised, and that's when and if you get lucky and someone actually answers the phone.

I suspect their disinterest and failure to respond to complaints is deliberate company policy, so consistent, with the hope you get fed up with their lies and their disingenuous attitude you give up and go away!

Whatever you do, PLEASE, take my advice seriously and think very carefully before committing to Wickes, they will promise you everything up until you part with your money!

Preferred solution: Resolve the issues and apologise for the irritation they have caused.

EXTRAORDINARY Wickes have a file at least 7 months old with everything in. Same old excuse and more investigations, for goodness sake Wickes stop playing about and take responsibility and stop adding to your failings.

As a loyal customer of the Wickes store in Hanworth, I regret to say that my experiences with Ammar have been consistently disappointing. This employee has an unfriendly and curt attitude toward customers, often treating them more as inconveniences than as people. I’ve repeatedly witnessed him speaking in an abrupt manner, as if he’s uninterested in actually helping, and more focused on quickly moving on to the next task.

On multiple occasions, while waiting in line, I’ve heard other customers share similar frustrations regarding the quality of his service. Rather than offering any personalized assistance, he monotonously repeats the same scripted greeting: “Hello, did you manage to find something you’re looking for?” It feels robotic and uninspired, lacking any genuine intent to assist.

I’d like to note that every other employee I’ve encountered at the Wickes store in Hanworth has been friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful.

Great customer service from the workers! Very helpful worker Ben assisted us with the power tools and was very knowledgeable.
