Don’t order a kitchen from here

We had a kitchen delivered in may. On delivery we noticed that the integrated microwave that was incorporated into the design (which was designed by their staff) with wickes did not fit into the cupboard. We contacted wickes that weekend and apparently everything was in motion and the microwave would be collected and we would be refunded. We are now in July, the microwave is still sat in my living room and no refund in my bank account. We have a gap in our kitchen which is where the microwave was supposed to go 3 months down the line. We have tried to contact our kitchen designer, the store directly and wickes with no response or action. We are currently at the point in our house renovation where we need the microwave out of our living room and we are ready to move in so ideally we need a microwave. I am utterly disappointed with the service we have received and have had no rectification of this matter. If you want a fully functional kitchen I would not recommend wickes to anybody

Great store & management

Super helpful staff, made a wonderful contribution to our community garden of a water butt & guttering so we can capture water from one of the buildings. Gurdeep the manager was lovely and very accommodating, and we had a lovely chat with another staff member about the area where our project is and how it has changed since she went to the school next door! Overall, wonderful service and contribution to community project. Thank you Wickes Dudley! :)

GREAT BRANCH....visited to get gravel

GREAT BRANCH....visited to get gravel, need help from a member of staff (Jake) he was more than happy to help me out. I was very impressesed with how professonal he was for such a young member of staff...Thanks Jake....overall the branch is clean and tidy ....loads of stock, the kitchen showroom area is lovely, highly recommended fot that new kitchen. I always use this branch for any DIY need

Excellent customer service

Today my wife and I went into Wickes Dudley to buy a new kitchen mixer tap. As it happened we needed the assistance of Gindy in the kitchen department. She ordered the tap for delivery to our address as it wasn't a stock item. Very pleased with her help today.

Fantastic Kitchen Designer

Gindy Stevens, our Kitchen Designer went above and beyond to help our kitchen design was exactly to our requirements. Fantastic service from this lovely lady at Dudley Wickes.
Unfortunately the back office systems and staff were not so helpful or accommodating so we ended up purchasing elsewhere on this occasion.

I ordered a new Kitchen all went well BUT!!!!!!!

PI ordered a new Kitchen all went well, but a week before it was due to be delivered we had a call to say that some of the cabinets were out of stock and due to be delivered 2 weeks later than planned, so I reorganised the fitting for that delivery date. To then be delivered the part kitchen and once all checked of discovered that 4 of the cabinets were white not as ordered in grey. It only gets worse from here I'm sorry to say. A week after the delivery I had another call to say that the 4 cabinets that were out of stock would not be available until a month later and they wouldn't be on the delivery, even though I had to explain that I had already had a call from them and the delivery of my incomplete kitchen, apparently there was no notes on my record!!! 2 emails later (no response from either) and as I write this, 25 minuets wating to speak to another muppet just hope I'm not charged for this call as it will be the last straw and it will all go back and ill take my business else ware, which may happen when or if I ever get answered. All went fine until the money changed hands should be on TV on the rouge traders programme. Won't be dealing with them again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Following on from the call no compensation offered or any apology for having to call off my kitchen fitter for 6 weeks before I can get the remaining cabinets I've never been treated like a cash cow before now I have I really don't like wickes costumer service I am absolutely DISCUSTED!!!!!!

More helpful and better value for money

Yet again I found what I needed and cheaper than Screwfix or B+Q. It’s so good to speak to helpful staff. Laura is always ready to help with a smile.

Christian & Sam - Great service

When i arrived at the store i had a print out of what i needed but no idea where to find them. i spoke to Christian Yardley and asked if it was possible to get some help as i was in a rush and didn't want to make a mistake. He was very eager to assist me and made sure i had everything i needed before leaving. His customer service skills were impeccable and he made me feel very welcomed. Sam Thurstfield also had a part to play in making sure i had the correct parts and was satisfied with my service.

Overall i am massively grateful for their help and service.

Friendly and welcoming

I went into Dudley store today just before lunch and it seemed very busy. There was a little bit of a queue but there was 2 ladies on the tills so wasn’t waiting to long. I just wanted to say even though it was busy in there all the staff was very friendly that I came across and the two ladies on the tills was very friendly and welcoming to say that it was busy. I will be using you guys again

Kitchen design

We had Petra from Wickes Dudley design a kitchen for us. The layout was totally different from what we already had. She was so helpful and knowledgeable answering any questions we asked. It's been a positive experience from start to finish. We used Wickes approved fitter Tallren who did a wonderful job of fitting our Kitchen. Paying attention to every detail. The team who organised delivery were really good too, sorting out any issues with any missing or damaged items promptly. The kitchen layout is so well thought out by the designer all cooking facilities and plating up area together. it flows so well so you're not walking from one end of the kitchen to the other to carry out food preparation. Thanks Petra for a fantastic design and team Wickes and Tallren . 🙂

Called in today 29.1.26 to buy paint

Called in today 29.1.26 to buy paint. Uday was very helpful and friendly . I struggled to carry the paint so he was very kind and carried it for me. Great customer service!!!

What are Wickes customer services…

What are Wickes customer services about. When things go wrong the store just cancels your order? Lack of communication, One Manger tells you one thing, the next time you phone in another person tells you something completely different. Left us totally confused and we have been promised a refund and a £75 voucher neither of which have appeared? This following a total mess up on Radiator supply. I am fed up with having to explain our predicament, what do your staff not understand about your advertised radiator called Balterley is not replaceable by a radiator called Slone.
The Balterley is rated at 2500 BTUs and the Slone is rated at 2000BTUs ‘This is some 1000 BTUs short.I suspect the Slone is a lot cheaper and your buyers have seen an opportunity to sell an inferior product at your advertised price of £140 / radiator. Remember having been told the radiators would arrive on the Thursday 22nd Jan we booked the Plumber for Today 26th he charged us a £75 call out as we cancelled.
We were also told by Craig,who we understood to be a Manager in Customer Services, He informed us that the Wickes own advertisement was incorrect and that the Balterley did not meet the 2500 specification. I suggest you get your web site changed ASAP as you could be faced by investigations by Trading Standards.
My wife rang and spoke with Stephany to advise only one had turned up and that it was not only incorrect but that only one not two had been delivered on the 22nd of Jan, and after several phone calls we thought it had been resolved, we where under the impression that 2x Slone Double radiators where being despatched which would have met our BTU rating requirements and the single would be collected. Today the one radiator was collected but no delivery of the two doubles, can anyone explain what is going on. Please feel free to contact me ASAP as I do not know if I should order from somewhere else or wait to see what you are doing?
