Kevin from Christchurch did a wonderful kitchen installation a couple of years ago. We have been so happy with this that we having Wickes design and install our new bathroom.

We had been to a few other kitchen showrooms first. One was very attentive and the second didn't seem overly bothered about assisting us with a design and potential purchase of a kitchen. Our last port of call for the day was Wickes (Christchurch). We asked if we could book an appointment for a design and although there wasn't much time left in the day, a very friendly lady (Charmaine) offered to help there and then. Charmaine was very attentive and listened to what we wanted and designed accordingly. She was not pushy at all and showed us all options from cheaper to more expensive without any motive of trying to make more from us. We left happy with a design and approximate price. Later in the week Charmaine came to our property to check the measurements we provided and was happy that the design would work, which it did with a few tweaks. We then returned on the 9th to finalise and make any last minute adjustments. After going through the payment options we picked the one that felt right to us and purchased the kitchen. Throughout the entire process Charmaine was friendly, professional and not at all pushy and we would not hesitate to refer Wickes Christchurch/Charmaine to anyone looking for a new kitchen.

When organising a new kitchen we visited three well known firms for ideas. Wickes were head and shoulders above the others in both quality of service and cost. Louise Ingram, at Christchurch, was enthusiastic and knowledgeable, and she really listened to what we wanted. She incorporated our ideas but improved them with suggestions made from experience, and oversaw the whole process, always available if we needed any extra information or help. Nigel, the fitter we were allocated, was also excellent. Our kitchen is large and needed some bespoke adjustments so there was a lot to do, yet the process was faster, cleaner and far less stressful than we had anticipated and the work was carried out extremely professionally. The cupboards, drawers and worksurfaces (oak and Dekton) supplied by Wickes are of excellent quality and the finished kitchen not only looks stunning, but also works perfectly. We are delighted with it and would thoroughly recommend the design process, the fitting and the kitchen supplied.

Laura has made choosing a new bathroom so easy and she worked really hard to get everything I wanted to fit! I am so pleased and she was a pleasure to deal with. Thank you so much

I just had my kitchen and bathroom installed. Over the moon, loads of choice when designing and had exactly what I wanted.

I am very unhappy with the design for the kitchen in wicks christchurch Bournemouth store. They do the big mistakes on the corner cupboard. Waste the space about 30cm ,and the customer service very bad. And waste my money and time.i will give 0 stars .

Wickes Christchurch are dreadful. We have just had a terrible experience with their kitchen design and installation team. The design was highly inaccurate from Katrina (for example the sink and integrated bins did not fit under the selected worktop), the timescales they promise are never met (we were four months late), the manager Chris tries to fob you off with sub-standard solutions to the problems they have created, and they took an inordinate amount of time to properly finish the project. Further there are hidden costs such as the installation (£1,400) that they did not make us aware of. And they are not good value compared to local kitchen contractors. The new kitchen was for an AirBnB and we missed the whole of the summer season for lettings. As compensation for the four month delay they offered £300. When I asked how they calculated this they referred to industry standards but after repeated requests they were unable to provide any detail. I would seriously recommend NOT using Wickes.

Last year, we went to the Christchurch branch and we were lucky enough to find Katrina available to design a kitchen for us. She did an amazing job, making meaningful and personal suggestions. She also made sure she kept an eye on the cost and told us about possible deals we could apply. We did shop around but Katrina's plan was by far the best we got. Things like making sure the crockery drawers are arranged so it's really easy to unload the dishwasher into them, the bins are positioned right under the counter where we make crumbs from toast/sandwiches and can sweep them straight in the bin. She also guided us to have fewer cabinets than we planned and she was right. It's made for a more spacious feeling kitchen and we still have plenty of storage (plus it saved us some money).

During the build, she (and her team) were super helpful as we had a couple of damaged items that needed replacing, which was done without a fuss.

We were so pleased, we went back just recently to ask Katrina to help us design our downstairs bathroom and again, she came up with a configuration we hadn't even considered but means we can have a larger shower than we thought we could and better storage solutions.

On a mission to revamp and extend our kitchen, we were very fortunate to meet Louise Ingram at wicks Christchurch. She immediately identified and related to our somewhat complex plan and with her professional excellence, knowledge of a product, sense of style, design and practicality, Louise produced the perfect design. Her ability to relate and listen to the customer is outstanding and every problem, Louise found the solution. Her customer care and interpersonal skills filled us with confidence and she is simply inspirational and lovely to work with. Our grateful thanks Louise and also to Wickes. Had an appointment in the Christchurch branch to discuss designs. Products in the showroom looked good quality, the design service was not good quality. The agent seemed to rush and didn't fully listen to the items I wanted on the design, just adding bits and telling me she liked it. At the end of the appointment she said she would print the design but then changed her mind and said she would email it instead. The email still hasn't arrived weeks later! I went back to the shop to discuss this and ask for the design. The agent I spoke to advised they couldn't do anything or a new design, they emailed the original agent and asked her to send it through urgently, and we still don't have it. Such a shame the service is awful, as the products looked good. We have gone to other providers now who provided designs within hours of the appointment.
