Prompt delivery, the contents were in excellent condition. Love the use of sheep’s wool as an insulator and the reusable ice packs are very useful in indeed. The cheese is gorgeous too.

Excellent service and prompt delivery. As usual delicious cheese’s. I highly recommend you try all their products, they are amazing. My dad was extremely impressed with his Father’s Day gift.

We sell superb artisan cheeses from Wales' best independent cheesemakers. We specialise in gift boxes, hampers and carefully curated cheeseboards. We stock over 60 of the very best Welsh cheeses, and work with 15 fantastic producers. Established in 2017, the business has gone from strength to strength, but we've never strayed from our core purpose, which is to champion Welsh cheese to our customers all over the UK.

Ordered cheese for our wedding - disappointed

Ordered cheese for our wedding, but there was confusion over the use-by date due to unclear printing. Although it was confirmed to be in date, it caused unnecessary stress at an important time.
Customer service also felt quite dismissive, which added to the frustration. Overall, I’m disappointed with how the situation was handled.

Hi Laurie,
I’m sorry to hear that you felt disappointed with how your concerns were handled after the many emails we exchanged over the past couple of weeks. Having reviewed everything carefully, I’m genuinely unsure what more we could reasonably have done.
Your Little Celebration Cake order was delivered as scheduled on 21.05.26, in time for your wedding the following day. After receiving it, you contacted us regarding the best before date label on the 500g Blue Wenallt cheese included in the cake. While the cheese was dated 27.06.26, there was a slight imperfection in the printing of the “06”, and you queried whether the label might instead read 27.05.26.
We responded within 30 minutes to reassure you that the label read '06' and immediately offered a replacement if there had been any error. To provide further reassurance, we also sent photographs of labels from the same batch and comparison images showing the printed numbers more clearly.
When this still did not reassure you, we arranged for Hannah from Brookes Dairy, who makes and labels the cheese herself, to phone you personally and confirm that there was no issue. All of this took place on the same day your order arrived, which is why I’m disappointed that our response has been described as dismissive, as we worked hard to address your concerns as quickly and thoroughly as possible.
As you mention in your review, we confirmed there was no issue with the date. Even had the cheese been dated 27.05.26, as first suggested, it would still have been within its best before date for your wedding on 22.05.26.
Despite the extensive steps we took to reassure you, we also issued a refund exceeding the value of the cheese in an effort to resolve the matter.
We are always keen to learn and improve, and while we are certainly not perfect, we care deeply about customer service. If there is something specific you feel we should have done differently, I would genuinely welcome that feedback.

Ever so tasty

Ever so tasty - service was excellent. Bought for our wedding arrived well packed and cooled.We will replace our mature welsh cheddar with yours going forward

5* Customer Service

The delivery company (DHL) delayed the delivery and the 1st order of cheese arrived in not an edible condition. However, I reached out to The Welsh Cheese Company who's customer service was 5*. They immediately arranged for a replacement order to be sent, which arrived still chilled. It is so pleasing to receive such good customer service and a special thanks to Pax, who dealt with this so quickly and professionally.

My Mother had her 101st birthday last…

My Mother had her 101st birthday last week (in Swansea).She loves your cheeses and also a) shares with family and b) has them them last her for a few months. Sending cheeses from you to (Welsh) family and (English and other) Friends is my go to for special occasions and Christmas. Thank you.

Have been ordering regularly for…

Have been ordering regularly for special occasions or as a gift for the last 3 years. Excellent selection of cheese for all tastes. Personal favourites are Cenarth Brie, Perl Las and Truffle Trove. Helpful to be able to specify the delivery date. Securely packaged and well insulated. A query relating to one delivery was dealt with immediately. Definitely recommend.

Amazing Company!

Cheese is absolutely amazing, delivered in perfect condition and presented professionally in their boxes. The staff are so helpful over the phone as well. I've ordered from them 3 times now and I'll definitely be ordering in the future. Thanks Team!
