I rarely review software online because I believe people may have different experiences with software based on multiple factors that are not really the fault of the software developer.
However, I want to review the Chameleon Dating software provided by Websplosion main for two reasons:
1. When I was searching and comparing dating scripts, I came across a review on Trust Pilot which almost turned me away from exploring Chameleon. Thank goodness before reading that review I had taken much time to explore how Chameleon works. I an now say with confidence that the reviewer's negative comments are very far from what I am currently experiencing. That brings me to the second reason for making this review.

2. Before stumbling on Chameleon, I had explored several dating scripts and even bought one from Codecanyon. It was a huge disappointment. I even hired a developer from Fiverr and things still didn't work how I wanted. So I continued searching and finally I found Chameleon. The presentation of features on their website is excellent and that is where I fell in love with the rich suite of features. Then because of the so many bad experiences I had had with other dating scripts, I didn't buy the script. I hesitated for another 2weeks, reading around and then one day I tried their demo. They provide a demo whereby you can choose to try as admin or user. It lets you in to explore how features work. That's when I made my decision. I had finally found the script I wanted.

Key strengths:
1. Great presentation of features for a new user to see what is available
2. Great demo feature to make you see and try what is in the package
3. The cost of the software is comparatively the best looking at the package of features available.
4. Free installation of the software on your server after purchase (This is something many non-IT savvy users like me struggle with).
5. Their support style is neatly organized and they make sure each question is handled separately.
6. In addition to the prompt support they provide, there is a rich knowledge base where most questions a new user may have in mind are already answered.
7. In terms of features that come with the script, there are so many that you will prefer to disable some and yes there is the ability to enable and disable features.
8. The ability to customize is given on almost everything.

Weaknesses:
1. I think Websplosion hasn't done a good job in advertising this software because when you search Dating Script on Google, they don't show up on the first page of search results. I had to search many other dating keywords before I found Chameleon.
2. Video tutorials in the knowledge base would be a great addition so users don't have to scroll and read endlessly.
3. When buying the software, they don't provide many payment options. I used PayPal to buy after a hard struggle because PayPal is not very popular in many countries and there are many more modern and more popular payment options like Alipay used by billions of people in Asia.

I purchased the dating software in 2019 and websplosion.com installed it for me at a hosting company on a server I rented.
When I purchased the software, I also ordered 1,000 fake profiles so that whoever comes to register will not find that the site is empty.
After installation, I found to my delight that websplosion.com had installed 2,000 profiles.
I soon discovered that even 2000 profiles are not enough, especially if the site is aimed at the whole world.
After about a year, a problem arose with the hosting company (my partner did not pay them), and the software with all the profiles registered up to that time were deleted.
I went back and turned to websplosion.com and asked them to install the software again. They charged me $100 for that.
Since then, for several years the software has been working perfectly without any glitches.
Recently, I wanted to switch hosting and again I contacted websplosion.com to make the switch, but they directed me to an external body where I am supposed to indicate how much I am willing to pay for the work.
I registered with the external body and offered between $30 and $2000, assuming that I could always bargain. But no one got back to me.
Therefore, for the purpose of transferring hosting, I hired the service of someone from Fiverr who was not really successful with transferring the software, so I constantly have problems with the emails on the site.
Now that I've switched hosting, I wanted to update the PHP and the websplosion.com service informed me that I only get updates for 3 years.

In short, the software works really well and I had no problems, but its service is really bad because they give half answers and are really unwilling to provide service except through the external body.

Very good service, There is video chat and games now recently they have updated that you can have live chat as well but many more functions like blog and so on. I have had that program for several years now and I think it is the best dating software and I strongly recommend it. This program is also quick and easy to install on your server. Hella, the installation process is automatic, you just need to upload all the files and then enter the license, then it installs everything itself, so it's not difficult to install and there are a lot of functions in the script

A small introduction to my situation :)

I moved my Social Sex Network TheoryOfSex.club from shared hosting to a dedicated server. I'm not a programmer and don't understand anything about how to integrate my club into a new server.
Since I'm just launching my business and I don't have a sponsor, I bought a user responsible server. It means that all questions I must solve myself.
Also right now I can't pay for custom work on my Social Sex Network.

So, let's come to the point :)

I had 6 questions that I needed help with.
Currently, I use the template "Oryx", which is absolutely AMAZING! It contains a lot of options (I use almost all of them in my club).

So, my issues:

1) Main menu
I was not able to find how to change the title for a specific menu title. I researched the knowledge base of Chameleon, which is pretty good, found an answer, but can't find a specific line in the language list. Albert Belkin was so kind that he made a screenshot of a specific line, draw arrows and it solved my issue with ease :)

2) Change titles and links for a small top menu
I have basic knowledge of HTML language. It allowed me to understand HTML code a bit. I changed titles for desired and gave them links. But it was not working. The problem was that I need to add new words to the language list first, only after that these words will be visible on site. Albert Belkin kindly provided me with the link to the topic in Chameleon's knowledge base.

3) Incorrect displaying of usernames in comments replies
After moving to the dedicated server usernames started to be displayed as inner code in {}. Albert Belkin kindly provided me with a new update of the Chameleon engine from version 5.3 to 5.4 + fixed file for wall posts. Usernames started to display properly.

4) IM messages
I faced a problem with IM messages - they were disappearing. I made settings in the admin panel to save 1000 IMs, but they were disappearing after re-login. Albert Belkin asked me to provide him with access to the account with an issue and FTP access. I don't know what he made, but it started to work properly :)

5) Video views count
In my club, I publish for members videos. And of course, I want to see how many times each video was watched.
After uploading a video I always check how it works. After 3 videos I noticed that video views are not counting.
Albert Belkin kindly explained to me that:
1) counting not video views, but video page visits.
2) "Views are counted only when other users visit your video page". So, my question was answered.

6) Error converting video
It was my BIGGEST problem! Small-size videos (around 50Mb) are uploading fine, but files around 800GB are giving an "Error converting video" when in converting process.
I made a setting in the admin panel in the section "uploading limits" for videos and pictures.
In the same section, the engine informed me about file size limitations from my hosting. I changed these limitations on the server. But video converting still gives the same error.
Then I made a screenshot from the PHP settings on the server. I was requested to change max_execution_time to 3600 and follow simple instructions about adding ffmpeg.txt file in a specific folder. I made everything, but it didn't give positive results.
Then I was requested to "ask hosting support about ability to use FFMPEG on your hosting account". It took some time, because I had to do it myself and my hosting support just gave me instruction (which is very helpful).
Looks like everything is made, but big video is not converting!
Then I was requested to "Please ask hosting support activate PHP function "exec"." It was done on the hosting support side. But the video started to hang in an endless converting process. Ahhhh….
Albert Belkin asked to provide FTP access. After checking he said: "It looks like your hosting blocks slow requests that waiting data from site - please ask hosting support check this test page that should return result after 100 seconds:…"
I had to beg hosting support to find a problem on the server side. The problem was found - Apache timeout! It was only 300 seconds. After changing to 3600 seconds big videos finally started to upload and convert properly! Hooray!!!

It was an unforgettable experience! :)

Удачно сделан подход к шаблонам сайта - налету можно сменить дизайн без особых настроек.
Есть места для рекламных блоков, а это уже большой +
Мне очень важно, чтобы вы все знали, что пока я осваивал этот "скрипт сайта" поддержка в течение последних нескольких лет очень мне помогла.
Да нужно отметить что база помощи, (статьи базы знаний) очень полезны, практически все ответы можно найти самостоятельно.
Могу сказать что сменить доммен или создать файл для плэй маркета не проблема, просто пишем в поддержку оставляем тикет и все в течении небольшого времени ответ готов, или файл .apk , пошагово помогли обновить версию Chameleon просто доходчиво и понятно. И причем это все бесплатно т.к. входит в стоимость лицензии на сайт.
Я из России, поддержка пишет мне на моем языке все доходчиво ,откровенно я не думал что будет ответ на моем языке, предпологал что нужен будет перевод в браузере, но нет все отлично.
Все, что я могу сказать, это функционально, оригинально и современно.
Есть нюансы некоторые функции требуют доработки. Нужна помощь платных програмистов, Но с учетом возможностей движка это почти незаметно.
Относительно недорогая (разумная) цена на покупку этого скрипта, если расматривать рынок конкурентов то этот превосходит всех. Поддерка на высоте 24/7 всегда на связи, ответ в течении нескольких часов иногда сразу.
Я очень доволен Вашим скриптом сайта.

I bought the Chameleon software about ten days ago.
Even if I master a lot of things in using the internet, there were some points for which I needed help.
Being French and the software in English, I didn't always understand how to install and operate the different functions of this very powerful tool.
So I often had to call the support for questions that were sometimes basic but needed precise explanations.
So I opened a lot of support tickets.
The answers were always very quick, precise and well argued.
I even had the impression sometimes that I could annoy them, but they were always very reactive, precise and provided me with clear and argued explanations.
The answers usually arrived within an hour, sometimes less.
I can't count the number of tickets I had to send to familiarize myself with the tool, but now, thanks to their precious help, I'm starting to master it well.
Nevertheless, the tool being very complete with many features, I still have some grey areas to make it work properly.
My support tickets are more and more spaced out but despite everything, they answer me each time with the same professionalism.
They have even put together a very useful knowledge base that I sometimes refer to to verify or confirm a point.
But I know that if I get stuck on a technical aspect they are always there to help me.
Being French, it is really precious to have a support that can explain to me concretely what I can't always decipher with the technical terms in English.
I do not regret my purchase at all, especially for the efficiency of the support.
