Watch Philosophy Anmeldelser

Ordered a watch and was quoted 3-5 weeks. This passed and was continually told there were no updates and to wait until the following week. This continued until I lost confidence. Replies to my communication were ok, but genuine and meaningful updates were lacking and the whole experience for me ended up being poor. Maybe it was the availability of the particular watch I was after, but the price clearly was too good to be true for me on this occasion.

I recently bought a Breitling and overall, I'm happy with the purchase — hence the 4 stars — but the experience wasn't completely straightforward.

The biggest positive is the price. They were able to offer the watch at a very competitive price compared with UK retail, and their European dealer network clearly gives them access to watches and pricing that can be difficult to find elsewhere.

The downside was that the watch wasn't physically in stock with them when I ordered it, so there was a wait while it was sourced and delivered. More importantly, communication from Maxim was quite sporadic during this period. There were times when I wasn't really sure what was happening or when I could expect the watch, which is understandably unsettling when you've paid a substantial amount of money for a watch.

That said, Dan stepped in towards the end and really came through. Once he got involved, things became much more straightforward and the watch was eventually delivered exactly as described — brand new, with the paperwork and warranty as expected.

A great experience with watch philosophy.
My new Breitling Watch was delivered in great time and for a great price. Great communication from Dan to keep me updated.
I would be very happy to use this company again.

Great communication, watch delivered on time. Would definitely recommend this provider

The transaction was smooth and straightforward. Dan was very helpful and responsive throughout, and the watch arrived a full week earlier than the estimated delivery date. Everything was exactly as discussed and promised.

I would happily recommend them.

First time buying a luxury watch, and with such a great price for my new Omega I was uncertain if the deal was too good to be true. The watch arrived today, exactly as Dan had confirmed, and the watch is immaculate. I cannot thank Dan enough for dealing with my multiple messages and I will be back for my next watch.

Great customer service, regular and clear communications and keen pricing all add up to a fantastic and assured outcome. Thanks to Dan in particular who was on the case throughout. Highly recommended and will doubtless buy again in the future. Thank you.

First time buying a luxury watch so was a little apprehensive, especially when the price was so good for a new watch. Thankfully it wasn’t too good to be true. Communication was great and felt reassured I was in safe hands. I won’t be going anywhere else for future watch purchases.

Great service! Quality watch!

Very happy with my new Longines Conquest 38. There was a small delay from the manufacturer, no fault of Watch Philosophy, and Maxim kept me updated throughout the process. I was able to pick the watch up from Dan straight away after they received the watch. It came with full AD box & documents untouched by WP. Will definitely consider them for my next watch purchase. Thanks!

Terrible. Absolutely abysmal customer care. Complete lack of communication. No updates even when requested. Deposit payed and almost 3 months after still no watch or any idea of the ETA. Truly disappointing.

A nightmare, awful customer service. Took forever for a wedding gift and still got nothing. Took forever to cancel the order as the wedding has happened already. Honestly the whole company is odd, feels like they deal with illegal stuff.

Just purchased a silver dial Aqua Terra. I paid considerably under mrsp so I'm very happy. Delivery took a little longer than I expected but I have found out my model is in high demand at the moment so I can forgive them that. My initial concern was that it was a deal too good to be true but they are a safe company to deal with. Relax ...it's all fine. Would I recommend them? Absolutely. If I were to buy another watch I would look firstly to Watch Philosophy. I doubt that you can do better.

Bought a Omega Seamaster for my sons 21st and Dan and all the team at Watch Philosophy were brilliant and managed to get it delivered to me in time for his birthday celebrations. A great watch at a great price. Well Done,I will certainly buy again.

It has been an awful experience with this company. I have enquired about a watch and had to wait weeks for a reply from WhatsApp. I’ve emailed, and there was not a single reply. Had one WhatsApp conversation with someone named Tim, then someone named Maxim which I honestly believe is the same person. After buying the watch comes delivery which was another nightmare. He ghosted me for over a month and finally I’ve regretted why I bought the watch in the first place. A disgrace and honestly very shady business.

…great price and service. I was looking for a limited availability Hublot that Watches of Switzerland was unable to source direct. WP showed availability and was able to deliver in 3 days. I was also able to validate via Chrono24, and arranged to collect so I could check the watch before making full payment.

Bought an Omega watch from Watch Philosophy and couldn’t be happier! The team was super profesional, answered all my questions quick, and the watch arived exactly as described. Great service and smooth transaction. Highly recomend!

Excellent online shopping experience, Dan was great. My son is very happy with his 18th birthday present. Will definitely use again

This is edited with no pressure from WP following the resolution of a long standing issue. They conceded that communication was lacking and apologised on a number of occasions. More importantly Tim has resolved the issue. Subsequently I think it’s only right to give a more favourable review as it was a good initial experience and price for my watch.

Very good, knowledgeable and professional service throughout with helpful, timely communication which deliverd a genuine assurance that my order and my business was being proactively managed. Would highly recommend and will continue to transact with Watch Philosophy. Thanks Dan, the new watch is a beautiful thing! 👍🏻
