Good docent who provided interesting stories.
it would be helpful if they quote gave ideas for interesting pictures - such as in the Sistine. Chapel - "lay on the floor to take a picture ", but did not. Di highlight views of the dome in the morning. Good job of telling the story of salvation on the ceiling of the Sistine chapel, wish it was a big longer - or less time in the museum, and more time in the Sistine chapel to just take it all in.

A great beginning
While I was able to begin the tour, I became ill and was unable to finish it. However, the amount of information that our tour guide provided us with while I was still participating was incredible. He wasn’t reading off of a sheet. He wasn’t looking things up. He just knew everything as we progressed through. And I was very thankful that he knew how to navigate and communicate with the security on the property so that I would not be sick IN the Sistine Chapel. I hope to return someday to finish the tour.

I can see you are scheduled for Feb 2026.
We do not use an app, so apologies if you have been informed this. You may have rung when the EU team were out of office and the US side do use an app for other brands
Our process is easy, you do not need tickets. All you need to do is meet the guide 15 mins prior to the start with your booking ref number and name.
They have the tickets and everything required for the tour.
We hope you enjoy when you take your tour in February.

Our tour guide was excellent
Our tour guide was excellent; we had Cristina and would 100% recommend. Walks Tours was more expensive than other tours, and I hoped that would translate to a higher value tour. Moving through the crowded Vatican, I felt sure we had made the right choice, as Cristina was kind, knowledgeable, and fun.

Great introduction to Italy
We did 2 Walks of Italy food tours. One in Venice the other in Rome. They were both fabulous .. well organised and with engaging guides. The Rome tour in particular took us to the Travastere area of the city which we came back to several time during our stay, to revisit the bars and restaurants we were introduced to. I highly recommend Walks of Italy and will use them again the next time I am lucky enough to be back in Italy

Our guide was absolutely fantastic!
Our guide was absolutely fantastic. He knew so much about the Vatican Museums and St Peter's Basilica. It would not have been possible to understand what the rooms and pieces were without his guide. He kept us going at a great pace, showing us the major pieces, but also some hidden gems. Getting into the museum with the group was very good, and very easy. His depth of knowledge was excellent, and I appreciated the way he explained the pieces and artworks. The shortcut between the Sistine Chapel and the Basilica was very good, not only beautiful and an insight into something a little bit hidden, but an excellent way to skip security to enter St Peter's. All around, absolutely fantastic, would do again!

The tour guide was really friendly and knowledgeable. Would be good in the info section to include where the tour will end as we did not realize it did not end back at the meeting point. We likely would have parked differently.

Unfortunately, we have avoided listing a fixed end point in the past because we occasionally have to change the order of the itinerary due to site crowds or logistics. However, we see how helpful this would be for our guests, and we will certainly look into how we may be able to apply this information in the future.

Great VIP David & Duomo tour with Angelo
My wife and I did the VIP David & Duomo Tour with Angelo as our guide. He was fantastic. Shared a ton of information and kept it entertaining the entire time. Rooftop tour was awesome. We really enjoyed the tour and are very happy with Walks of Italy. Highly recommended.

The tour guide was born, raised and still lives in Venice so we were given an in depth knowledgeable tour. At the end of the tour she also gave us a great out of the way non touristy restaurant recommendation. We had a fantastic final night dinner in Venice with friends.
