VERBATIM lehnt jedoch auch jegliche Kulanzleistung ab! Nie wieder Produkte von diesem Hersteller! Gibt genügend andere SSD-Hersteller die längere Garantie bzw. Kulanz gewähren!

This company is trash. They offer BD-RE DL optical media which is blue ray rewritable disks with a capacity of 50Gb and charge a small fortune for them! What are we in the dark ages? Rewriteable optical media is critical for computer data backups. The ability to wipe disks or rewrite them for this purpose is critical for backing up personal private data. The market for rewritable high capacity optical media is held back by companies like this. Rewritable CDs, DVDs, and BD (blue ray) have been around for ages and we still have to pay an arm and leg for it. I'd like to see the market improve with lower cost high capacity rewritable optical media. Today's only real option for backing up personal data to prevent computer disasters is hard drives and hard drives love to fail, the whole reason for backups!
Verbatim's Warranty Is a Joke – No Support, No Response
I purchased an SSD that stopped working after just a few months. As it was still under warranty, I contacted Verbatim to request a repair or replacement. However, after two weeks, they haven't responded to my emails, and the phone number listed on their website is inactive.
Such poor customer service is always unacceptable, but in this case, it also prevents customers from exercising their right to a replacement for a defective product—which is illegal. At this point, it feels more like a scam than a legitimate company.

El número de teléfono del soporte es falso y me responde un contestador de otra compañía. El formulario para mandar un correo a soporte tampoco funciona. Un desastre.

SSD nach 3 Monaten kaputt
Habe mir vor 3 Monaten eine Verbatim vi550 S3 SSD gekauft. Die ersten 2 Monate lief sie gut dann fing sie an immer wieder mal auf 100% auslastung zu gehen nun nach 3 Monaten geht sie fast nur noch auf 100% und ist kaum noch zu benutzen. Ich erwarte nicht viel für 50 Euro aber 3 Monate ist definitiv zu wenig! Daher werde ich keine Artikel von Verbatim mehr kaufen. Lieber einmal mehr Geld ausgeben als alle 3 Monate 50 Euro eine Frechheit!

They should stick to producing blank optical media. I tried to do the right thing and reported a recurring problem with an optical drive in the hope of helping them make it better. Since encountering the issue, I read a lot of reviews complaining of the same thing, so it's a problem with the whole model and not just my unit. Other companies in the past have usually been very grateful for a detailed bug report. Instead, Verbatim customer service repeatedly insulted my intelligence and question my competence. (By the way, I work in tech, so I think I understand computers pretty well.) Their representative used very patronising language in all their replies and included either blatant lies or instances of serious lack of knowledge (probably the latter) such as not knowing the difference between BIOS and UEFI, believing that VLC can't play Blu-ray discs, and getting different versions of Windows mixed up. This kind of behaviour is so unprofessional that from now on I will only ever buy blank media from them (since I've never had any issues with them), but I wouldn't buy any other product from Verbatim even if they were the last company in the world.
