Shannon was assigned the task of liaising with Smartest Energy to ascertain why we were informed that our supply could not be moved to another provider; due to us having re-signed a contract which we did not do. Shannon persisted with the issue & kept me informed at regular intervals, the process took several weeks, but I was assured that she would find a solution. Smartest admitted that it was an error on their part & allowed our contract to be terminated & moved to Yu Energy. Shannon provided great service & is the ideal person to have at your side during a dispute as she doesn't give up or fail to provide information even when progress is slow. Excellent service throughout, thank you :)

I was wary about using another consultancy after being ripped off by the last one, left us in a huge mess. As soon as Sonnie Terry visited us it was completely different she explained what had happened to prices the last few years, made it so easy for us to understand and got us a wonderful quote saved us on both gas and electric, constantly at the other end of the phone for us, very helpful. She Went through everything in detail and will now be managing the account for us which is a huge benefit knowing I don’t have to speak to a supplier again I was wasting more time on the phone to different departments that I spent running my business!! Definitely Would recommend

It was such a great help, I had already spent over a month, calling / emailing YGP on a weekly basis, each time speaking to a different member of the team and never moving forward with our query, which was to regain access to our online portal, which we had been removed from.

I wrote these guys a 5 star review back in 2025 but changed my mind about them when things went wrong with the contract changeovers. However, to be fair to them they have given us some money back to make up for what we lost as a result of their actions and seemed keen to make amends and improve their service going forward. I have had to re-do one of the contracts myself, but will give them the benefit of the doubt and see how we get on in future.

Troocost are our energy brokers. I have found them fantastic to deal with. They always respond in a timely and professional manner. They have also being dealing with a CCL claim. The claim resulted in the energy company making an error and issuing a £4k bill which was incredibly stressful. I cannot praise Shannon Middleton highly enough. I'd entered panic zone but Shannon took complete control and dealt directly with the company and resolved the issue speedily. I have been dealing with Shannon for some time now and she is the most amazing person to deal with. Whatever she says she'll do she does it promptly and efficiently and keeps you informed. Life would be so much easier if all organisations had a Shannon. I really hope she gets the recognition that she deserves

We have used Troo Ltd via CLA Energy several times to review our electricity contracts and consistently secure competitive deals that suit our business. The process is quick, easy, and saves significant time and effort.
The last five contracts arranged through Troo were moved to Smartest Energy, which led to serious billing issues due to incorrect initial meter readings. Despite demands for excessive payments and threats of court action, the Troo team supported us throughout the six-month resolution process, handling all communication with the supplier on our behalf.
Matthew O’Neil was our main contact and provided excellent support—responding promptly, resolving issues efficiently, and keeping us fully informed. Without Troo’s help, dealing with this situation would have been extremely time-consuming, costly, and stressful.
I would highly recommend Troo not only for finding the right energy contracts, but also for their outstanding support when things go wrong. They truly fight your corner.

The Troocost team have solved both water and electricity contract retenders and supplier billing conundrums with ease and efficiency. My dealings in the last 6 months with Matthew O'Neil and Adam Holt have provided me with a light at the end of the dark corridor of utility contracts and their efforts have undoubtedly left our utility contracts in a much better shape then ever before. How they follow through all that small print is a mystery to me! They are absolute superstars!

I hesitated between 3 and 4 stars because after using Troocost to switch from Business Stream to an honest water billing company I continued to suffer stress as BS repeatedly ignored their obligation to refund the credit amount I was owed. Finally, however, Shannon Middleton stepped in and applied the necessary pressure to extract the money, which arrived on the last possible date (31 March), after almost four months' delay.
