Min veninde og jeg havde bestilt en rejse til Grækenland på Hotel på Evia Stefania Beach Resort m/All Inclusive. 4 •••• hotel
Vi tog afsted den 27. 9. 2025 til den 4. 10. 2025.
Det viste sig, vi var det sidste hold gæster inden de lukkede ned.
Aldrig har jeg være på så dårlig sted. Det var IKKE et 4 **** hotel vær.
Vi ankom til et gammelt slidt hotel.
Toilettet i stueetagen var der lagt en flise på risten i gulvet så vi ikke fik våde sko når vi vaskede hænder. Ligeledes var midtervægen imellem vores 2 toiletter så rådne. Pudset var faldet af på ydersiden og inder siden af skil vægen.
Hotellet bar præg af vi var sidste hold gæster.
Maden var ensformig og kold. Der duftede aldrig af mad. Smagte ikke af noget.Ingen tzatziki før vi selv spurgte efter det.
Når der ikke var nok mad kom der fiskepinde, små forårsruller og blæksprutter ringe ind. Salaten var tør og gammel.(Vi tog billeder af alt)
Vi ankom lørdag,
Onsdag blev alle solsengen ryddet fra stranden, men senere på dagen kom der 9 strandstole tilbage til stranden på trods af vi var mange flere på hotellet.
Strandstolene ved poolen var elendige og brækket i ryggen, revnet - lappet sammen med tape eller skruer.
Poole var ikke åbnet hver dag, selvom der var børn der gerne ville bade.
Jeg vil ALDRIG anbefale dette hotel til andre, og der var blandt danskerne stor enighed om det var IKKE pengene vær.

No credibility anymore
I completely agree with other reviews regarding censorship by Trip Advisor. I've recently tried leaving an honest but very negative review about Cesar Thalasos hotel in Djerba, but after 3 attempted amendments to my review and an appeal they refuse to say why they won't publish it. I no longer trust them to be impartial and therefore will stop using the site. Btw don't bother visiting the hotel I mentioned earlier, awful staff
Charlton House Hotel & Spa
We would like to personally thank Imran and Beni at Charlton House Hotel & Spa in Shepton Mallet for their outstanding customer service. Following a previous negative experience under different management, they more than made up for it when we returned for a sentimental Anniversary visit.
The whole experience was nothing but magical and we can't thank them enough.
We will definitely be returning and will always remember what they have done for us on such a special weekend.

they stopped my review claiming i broke their guidelines without saying how and where in my review. so i rewrote my review with the same pictures then blocked my review because they claimed my photos that was blocked the 1st time was duplicates already posted to their site. on top of this they discriminate against the british by not allowing them to appeal against their poor decision because although we have the same laws as the EU only the people from the EU can appeal. as they are my photos and it was my experience i feel very strongly that they are a bad company and should be totally banned here in the UK for stopping freedom of speech and discrimination against the british people

On the first visit i ordered and the staff member just went on to answer a phone
on the Second visit today i ordered and the staff member forgot to give my Orange Juice I had to ask for it then it took a while to get my breakfast order then when it came to the condiment there are no condiments on the table i had to ask for Salt and Pepper and the staff members were speaking in their own language ???

I used to be a regular contributor to TA, but no more. I've just had one review after a bad experience, that TA have removed. I contacted them about it, but have heard nothing. The Hotel in question only seems to have Good Reviews, so I'm in no doubt they are paying TA to keep it that way. What's the point? It just makes their whole set up a farce. I'm not bothering again and I certainly won't trust their Reviews. Very disappointed!

Undeliverable touring information
On trying to log in to hotmailworld7 with google several times my message was rejected each time. Google state that the recipient’s mailbox is full but that cannot be true.
Vinted
I have an account with Vinted online and I have been buying and selling stuff and also my wife has an account. We have only one bank account and that is a joint account. I have tried to get my money back from Vinted and they said I cannot get my money out Because it’s the same account as my wife’s. I explained it’s a joint account. I don’t have another account I said to them. and they have come back and said there is nothing they can do so I have lost my money. Be careful if you use Vinted online they don’t have a customer service. They have someone with not very much experience and sadly to say intelligence.

Tour Cancelled at the last moment
We booked a tour with this company (Forbidden City Beijing) in June 25, the tour was due to leave in Sept 25, however 10 days before the tour Trip Advisor cancelled the booking giving no explanation. Due to the popularity of the tour all of the other providers have sold out, now we are left on the other side of the world with no way of visiting the Forbidden city.

Beware fake or biased reviews
When assessing the legitimacy of reviews, it's necessary to watch out for 5-star or 1-star reviews written by people who have only written one or two reviews. All too often, they are fake or biased. I don't trust any reviewer who has written fewer than 10 reviews.

We travelled to Rickmansworth for a family party from Shropshire and had booked a table for 11 family members at Ember inns, The Gate in Northwood as this had been recommended to us. Well after ordering and paying for 11 mains, one sharing starter and 7 deserts we had a wait of 45 minutes. What arrived can only be described as poor standard food, one of us ordered haddock chips and mushy peas,haddock was overdone and burnt with no more than a spoonful of mushy peas, one of us had scampi chips and peas she had a huge portion of chips all 8 of them, my maple glazed belly pork with crackling mashed potato and veg came with processed instant mash that tasted synthetic no crackling to be seen on the plate and very salty gravy and cold raw cabbage. Other meals were no better, halfway through a surely young waitress came to the table said they had forgotten to do the started and was it still wanted we said yes please, we were told it would be no longer than 15 minutes, half an hour later it still didn’t arrive. We waited patiently after the same waitress cleared the table for our already paid for deserts, we waited and waited and waited we eventually enquired as to their location only for the manageress to say they had not been done and we could have a refund. The refund was for 6 out of the 7 deserts and not including the non existent starter. They saw we were adding the refund up and quickly came over refunding the 7th desert still no refund for the starter or even a civil apology. But it gets better 2 of us had well how do I put it profuse diarrhoea the following morning which affected the next day and the family party we had travelled down for. I gave a 1 star but should be a big fat ZERO,

Used to be my go-to site to check out hotels etc. Now totally unusable. When you search for hotels you can't put in dates as you used to. Trying to research hotels at an airport, I tried to do it as a trip to enter dates, but then it doesn't seem to recognise the location. I just did a search for hostels in Holland Park and got hostels in Tibet. The search function seems to be broken. Honestly, don't they actually check what they changes they make are doing?
Underhand company, pointless website
Very selective about the reviews they choose to publish. I wrote a review about a venues incredibly poor booking system and subsequent customer service which led me to losing £80. I was trying to share my experience. TripAdvisor refused to publish on the grounds that I didn't actually visit the venue. I didn't visit the venue because the booking experience was so poor that it led to the organisation taking £80 from me which I was unable to get back, and my booking ultimately not accepted.
I would say that's an experience worth sharing, no?
TripAdvisor is NOT impartial. I encourage anyone to take the reviews with a pinch of salt. The overall scores are largely meaningless and I can only assume companies pay for TripAdvisor reviews and TripAdvisor refuses to publish negative reviews so they don't risk their income stream.
I will never place any confidence on what TripAdvisor says about it's destinations.
What has happened to TripAdvisor?
Over 50 contributions to TripAdvisor and all of sudden my latest review is rejected with claims of AI involvement.. It wasn't used!
4 attempts to edit and resubmit and all were rejected. I give up. I'll simply use Google reviews in future.

Claims 24-hour refund policy. I was celebrating a milestone birthday and was notified bus would be on diversion from the route (not their fault). I needed tour service for 2 days. I requested to cancel on several occasions via email to no success.
I was given a response that it was being taken care of. 5 emails went back and forth.
No refund was received, and I received a final email stating that my case was resolved. What a messy confusion.
No apology received, and no refund. When things go wrong you know what companies are made of, not when things go right.
