My experience with ReSI Homes has been…
My experience with ReSI Homes has been nothing short of exhausting.
What began as defects within my home has developed into an almost 20-month ordeal involving repeated delays, poor communication, missed commitments and a continual lack of ownership.
ReSI Homes has accepted responsibility for significant flooring defects and my family has been required to move out of our home for major remedial works. Unfortunately, even during those works I have found myself raising further concerns regarding the repair methodology, workmanship, protection of my property and communication. Rather than feeling reassured, I have been left monitoring the works and identifying issues myself.
The complaint process has been equally disappointing. Despite an ongoing Stage 2 complaint and repeated assurances that the works would be closely monitored, substantive responses have often required repeated chasing, and concerns raised during the live works have gone unanswered.
The impact has extended far beyond the defects themselves. It has caused significant disruption to my family, affected my mental wellbeing and consumed countless hours of my personal time trying to manage issues that I believe should have been managed by ReSI Homes.
To be fair, temporary accommodation was eventually provided and my accommodation costs were reimbursed in full, which I appreciate. However, this does not undo the prolonged stress, uncertainty and failures in communication that have characterised this experience.
I can only review my own experience, and based on that experience I cannot recommend ReSI Homes.
