Watch Lab Southampton- West Quay - fantastic service. We have a “special” watch. Not especially valuable in itself but of sentimental value. Had a problem with the bracelet clasp. They fixed it free of charge whilst we waited. I asked if there was a charge. “No sir, have a great day was the response”. Fantastic service is harder to find these days. Have been using them for years on and off but it is nice to feel valued.

I am a regular here had 3 watch now service with watch lab and I have to say another fantastic experience had my Rolex serviced and the communication all the way through has being excellent and customer service has being 10/10 grant has kept me updated on the watch all the way from start to finish and went to pick it up and needed a small adjustment on the bracelet so it fit me perfectly a chap called Nathan helped me out and did a fantastic job getting the fit right for me brilliant team at the watch lab looking forward for doing more business with you guys 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Quoted a ridiculous price for changing a watch battery.
Like many other people I have read about and spoken to, I went to a proper jeweller and had a battery replaced for a fraction of the price that the Watch Lab were wanting to charge me.
This was a dress watch that didn’t require sealing for water resistance.

Very happy with the service I received today battery replaced in my omega sea master,20mins later received notification watch was ready to be collected.thank you

I took my father’s watch to be repaired it required 2 numbers replaced on the dial, a
service, a new battery I received a text to say that it was ready for collection on the 11 01 25 on the 18th January I went to collect it and it was not ready!!!
I wasn’t really surprised because when I took it to the shop the lady behind the counter was quite surly and disinterested in what I was asking to be done she obviously had not submitted my detail request
I am in my 80s disabled and to be told it wasn’t ready was disappointing and inconvenient however the young man today was totally the opposite he was extremely helpful I went away for about 20 minutes to the watch being ready when I returned
I suggest that the young lady is given a pep talk and to work on her contact with customers or given apersonality pill !! Because it doesn’t help the company to have staff like her

Antonio was fabulous! Very polite and respectful. I was panicking as I thought I damaged my watch and I am very happy it was just the battery. Antonio is a credit to the business. As a person who works in retail I understand the job! What a great service. Thank you ☺️

Amazing customer service. Was rushing last minute and Antonio was happy to help and got a watch battery when short on time. He explained the price and was very reassuring my watch was in good hands. The strap on my Rotary watch had broken and I thought I might have to get a whole new strap.
I went to the Watch Lab at Cribbs Causeway and showed my watch to Tom. He was a pleasure to talk to and immediately knew that he could effect a repair.
Once he had fitted the fiddly pieces in the right place, my watch was as good as new.
When I asked him how much I owed , he said that it was such a quick fix with a tiny component that it was free! I was gobsmacked!
I will recommend the Watch Lab at Cribbs to friends and family for lovely service and very reasonable prices!!

Took a relatively expensive watch into store because the date kept falling behind. The lady behind the desk, Maya, served me straight away. She was so polite, friendly and helpful. She fixed my watch and as it only took a small amount of time they never charged me. It’s little things such as this whereby I will bring by business back and all future watch services moving forward will be done through you.

I can't speak highly enough of the service that Pete (Exeter) provided. I left two watches to be repaired. One required a new movement which was fitted in very quick time, and for a very reasonable price. The other needed a bit of fiddling, for which Pete charged absolutely nothing! Highly recommended.

I entrusted a deeply sentimental pendant to In Time jewellers for repair, and the experience has been nothing short of disastrous. Despite repeatedly emphasizing the importance of the piece and seeking reassurances that the job could be done within the two-day timeframe they promised, they lost the delicate stone from my pendant.

To make matters worse, when I arrived to collect the item, not only was I informed of the loss, but the employee responsible didn’t even offer an apology. This level of carelessness and unprofessionalism is absolutely unacceptable, especially for an item of such sentimental value.

The store has shown little urgency in resolving the matter. While they’ve offered to replace the stone, they have yet to locate the original or provide a satisfactory resolution for the emotional distress caused by their incompetence. I had to demand further compensation and insist that they cover the cost if I need to arrange repairs elsewhere.

I cannot trust In Time jewellers to handle valuable or meaningful pieces with care, and I would strongly advise others to think twice before bringing anything precious to them. This experience has left me deeply upset and disappointed.

My recent experience with this company has been a rollercoaster of emotions. While my overall ordeal has been riddled with mismanagement, lack of communication, and considerable distress, I feel compelled to highlight the stark difference in service I received when dealing with the manager, Diar. His professionalism, attention to detail, and genuine effort to address my concerns were a breath of fresh air and far exceeded the lackluster service I endured previously.

This situation arose from the mishandling of a deeply sentimental piece of jewelry. My pendant, featuring a carefully selected and irreplaceable diamond, was mishandled, resulting in the loss of the original stone. From the outset, the process to rectify this has been fraught with delays, poor communication, and repeated failures to address my concerns. However, during my visit to the branch today, the service I received was completely different.

Diar took the time to listen to me, acknowledged the unfinished prong that I had repeatedly pointed out in emails, and assured me that it could be polished—a solution that should have been addressed earlier during the repair process. His professionalism stood out as an example of how this matter could and should have been handled from the beginning.

That said, I am still far from satisfied with the overall experience. Despite assurances that the replacement diamond is identical, I can see visible differences. The certificate provided is insufficient, and I am left with no detailed breakdown of the repair process, as I repeatedly requested. It is also worth noting that the store’s tidier appearance today—compared to the day my stone was lost—suggests that improved management could have prevented this ordeal in the first place.

I am acting on legal advice to ensure that this matter is resolved appropriately. While I am hopeful it can be handled internally, the company must recognize the level of distress this has caused and take immediate steps to rectify their negligence.

This experience has been deeply frustrating, and while Diar deserves recognition for his efforts, it is clear that the company’s processes and overall customer care require significant improvement. I hope my feedback prompts them to take corrective action to prevent other customers from facing similar situations.
