Neil Jacob was really helpful

I contacted The Mortgage Works today upon completion of our new mortgage.

I spoke to an advisor called Andreas. Thé service I received was first class. Andreas was professional, approachable and helpful. Nothing was too much for him and it came through very clearly, throughout the conversation, that he wanted to help. The way he handled the call made me feel valued as a new customer. He was truly a credit to the company.

Awful mortgage provider! Only positive is there BTL calculator to give false pretences but a huge waste of time when you submit application! I am an existing customer of there’s yet they will not let me remortgage another property to them as I do not meet their lending requirements due to having a 3rd party financial association!! lol I have never missed a payment and have really good credit yet as I have a joint current account with the Mrs they refused as she has missed a payment but the application is in my sole name! Get a grip and look at the individuals circumstance before you penalise them for having a partner who has missed a payment yet they are not on the application

Super friendly, knowledgeable and helpful!

We managed to speak to someone about our mortgage requirements and then get an appointment with a mortgage advisor within 24 hours. Communication was clear and so far so good with the progress of our application.

Agent did not clarify that the property will be valued at standard property not HMO has it was running at the moment - required additional borrowing - waste of time for all

We were lucky to be assigned to a mortgage consultant called Neil Jacobs who could not have been more helpful. Right from the outset Neil explained the process, what our options would be and what he could and couldn’t advise on. The whole journey has been straightforward, supportive and efficient and we are very grateful to Neil for his help and expertise.

Had an hour long call with Daniel Morris yesterday. He was extremely helpful and I felt he really went above and beyond and stayed late to finish our convo. Thanks very much

Amanda from the Switching Team was so patient and kind on the phone with me today helping me to switch by to let Mortgages over she is such an asset to the team and deserves the recognition for this. I had had a conversation with someone in the same department literally five minutes before and it was a completely different experience.. as a customer with severe disabilities and impairments he did not do anything to work around the issues of his facing. He knew nothing about section 20 of the Equality at 2010 where we are entitled to reasonable adjustments and just kept saying everyone get treated the same . Sadly, I didn’t get his name, but I do know if it was close to 9 o’clock this morning.. luckily Amanda we still had my faith in the Mortgage Works when I thought I’ll just give it a go and try again as despite what he said I was having no look online and through her patience and commitment she took me through every single stage and the whole process was done within 15 minutes. Amanda literally bought your stars up from 1 to a 5 today within 30 minutes
