That is my fault for not seeing the new rules. Tried all the suggested solutions with the domes,etc and still a bad product. They will just become e-waste.

My hearing is so bad that I can hardly hear anything with these hearing aids. I bought a pair of $99 Audien hearing aids that are better. I assumed I could return them for a refund but I can't - I wasted $250. If anyone would like to buy them for $100 just contact me!

I am Robert M. McAdams.I liked the abilty to adjust the hearing aids through my phone but I never could get the background noise adjusted satisfactoryly in resturants and areas that have a lot of background noise. Also,I have had the hearing aids for several months but the right hear one is not funcational as well as the left one. I tried cleaning and changing the ear domes on them both but still did not get the right one to funcion properly.

I had these replaced twice and they were good while they lasted but both times stopped working, I disputed the charge because they won't give you a refund, so I'm out the money and I have a product that's horrible, save your money

THREE ATTEMPTS were made

THREE ATTEMPTS were made, 2 with the small ear buds and the last 1 with the over the ear style. When received, I thought it was a mistake, so small in size that I thought this was meant for a 5 year old child. To fit the hearing ear speaker into my ear canal, the hearing aid would flop off my ear. I sent a photo of my ear with the hearing aid over my ear showing how ridiculously small this hearing aid is. I received condescending advise from Marty on to how install. NO offer of a solution and not receptive to refunding the $106 up-charge for this aid and my request to return the hearing aid. Overall $400 out the window. DO NOT BUY THIS HEARING AID IS MY ADVISE. PATHETIC

Many customers prefer this because they don’t want bulky or noticeable devices, but we understand that fit can vary depending on ear shape and canal size. In most cases, fit issues can be resolved through proper positioning, dome selection, and guided setup, which is why we offer extended phone and email support.

Our support team spent a significant amount of time assisting you and walking through fitting and setup options. I’m truly sorry if any of that guidance came across as condescending. That was never the intention. The goal was always to help you get the hearing aids working comfortably and correctly for you.

Regarding the return and refund request, your order was placed during a final sale promotion, which is why refunds were not available. This policy is shown on our website before checkout. Even so, we still made efforts to help find a workable solution within our policy, including offering continued troubleshooting support and alternative options.

I understand that this was not the outcome you were hoping for, and I’m genuinely sorry that we couldn’t meet your expectations in this case. We appreciate you taking the time to share your experience, as feedback like this helps us continue improving how we communicate and support our customers.

Perseverance is a necessity!

I didn’t realize I was becoming hard of hearing. I thought people mumbled and my tv sound was going bad. I bought these hearing aids a year ago and tried them, I hated them and didn’t give them the time and patience it takes to get fitted and comfortable with them. My hearing got so bad that my friends and coworkers started getting annoyed with me, so I broke out the hearing aids and tried again. The instructions that came with them were so precise and detailed how important it is to follow them, and when you do give it the time and patience you need to be able to wear them, it is so worth it! Take the instructions seriously! And you will be able to hear again! I couldn’t even hear my alarm clock in the morning or watch tv to fall asleep without the volume being all the way up to 100 (sorry neighbors). Now the volume is down to 25-30. I can even sleep in them! Which helps with hearing my alarm clock. I usually use just one ear piece in my dominant ear. I use the second ear bud when I need to switch because the battery went low or dead. And the batter charge does last a very long time! My ear can’t hardly feel the bud in it, it’s like it became a natural part of me. I am grateful for these hearing aids now. I’m still working with the volume in certain areas like at my job or outside and driving. These hearing aids pick up every sound. Too much sometimes. Still learning and still grateful. I couldn’t afford $3000 or more, so the price of these hearing aids are more than worth it and affordable. Great job to “The Hearing Co.!”

We’ve been in touch with you several times over the past week to help troubleshoot and to explain why the hearing aids didn’t work for your level of hearing loss. Our models are designed for mild to moderate hearing loss only, and we shared this with you privately as well. Since you mentioned having profound hearing loss, the devices unfortunately cannot provide the amplification you need — which is why they didn’t help, even at maximum settings.

Regarding refunds or exchanges, our policy is final sale and is stated clearly on our website before checkout. We also allow exchanges within 7 days of delivery, and your order was delivered on November 7, which is why we weren’t able to process the exchange request that came in several days after the window closed.

I understand you’re upset, and I’m truly sorry the product wasn’t the right fit for your needs. But I do want to clarify that we have been responding to you promptly, explaining the limitations of the device, and offering guidance on alternatives better suited for profound hearing loss.

BEWARE

The aids simply fall out of my ears

The aids simply fall out of my ears, no matter what dome I use. No setup helps that. All that money for aids that are completely unusable.

Ships from US is a lie. Its actually Direct from China

States in writing on the website, "Ships from US in one day." This is totally false; shipping is from China, and tracking is from YANWEN. Got the link for shipping; it just stated waiting for the carrier to pick up the package. After over 2 weeks, I requested a refund. They claim it has been processed, but nothing yet. and nothing has changed on tracking the package since day 10/7/25. Giving 2 stars for promptly answering emails, usually in a couple hours

When I first went to see Matt at the…Good Experience

When I first went to see Matt at the Swanage branch, I was sceptical as I didn't want to admit my hearing wasn't as clear as it was. Matt was very professional, patient and took time to explain. I now have hearing aids I'm very happy with.
I would recommend this company for hearing problems.

Superb customer service ... I'd be lost without these aids.

After a bit of a mix-up on the type of hearing aids they had sent me, their team jumped straight into action, and I had a replacement inside a week. Fabulous customer service, and I can't fault them at all. After an incident recently, the trauma affected my hearing; I'd be absolutely lost without these aids. Incredible clarity (sometimes too good!). Would definitely recommend.

They are pure junk!!! they are at best amplifiers. There is NO refund policy. Says you can't open package or you can't get refund and since they are 80% off they will replace them one time in a year. That is all they say they will do.

Disappointing start

We initially had problems with the hearing aids whistling, but got that sorted via trial and error. The Hearing Company responded promptly when they heard of our difficulties.

They are not hearing aids

They are not hearing aids. They can't be programmed as advertised. All you get is feedback noise, even on the lowest volume setting.

The model you ordered is a hearing aid, but it works differently than prescription devices you may have seen at an audiologist. Instead of being “programmed” by a specialist, it can be adjusted through the app and physical controls to better match your hearing needs.

The feedback noise you’re experiencing is usually caused by either the ear domes not fitting properly, the volume being set too high before inserting them, or the microphone and speaker being too close to your ear canal walls. These are all common issues that can be fixed with the right setup.

Select the correct dome size for a snug fit

Insert the devices in the proper order

Adjust the app settings to reduce background noise and avoid feedback

Since the models you ordered are Bluetooth hearing aids, they can sometimes be a little tricky to set up, especially if you’re not very tech-savvy. That said, once they’re properly adjusted, most customers do notice a big improvement.

An first class company to deal with.

I have now had 3 sets of CIC hearing aids from this company, the 3rd being a warranty replacement that were sent without a quibble.
I have issues with my ear canals that make it almost impossible to find a perfect CIC aid, however, the CIC Digital Clarity Pros offer the best compromise of fit and performance I've achieved to date.
The customer service and backup from The Hearing Co is second to none.

Disappointing Experience – Returns Not as Promised, Unexpected Costs

I wanted to support a small business, so I ordered wireless hearing aids from The Hearing Co. After placing my order, I noticed it was taking longer than expected and discovered the product was being shipped from China (not mentioned at checkout). I emailed the company, and the owner replied, explaining they are a small, family-owned business. He reassured me that returns would be to a UK address.
Unfortunately, the hearing aids didn’t work for me, even after following all the setup instructions. I reached out for help and was told the feedback issues were likely because the earbuds weren’t small enough for my ear canal. The owner agreed to a return, but then gave me a return address in Arizona, USA—not the UK as previously promised. When I questioned this, I was told they don’t have a UK return address “yet.”
I had to pay £57.39 to return the small box to the USA with insurance, as the company’s terms and conditions state they are not responsible for return postage costs. I later found out the company is based in Canada, ships from China, and requires returns to the USA—none of which was clear at the time of purchase.
I’m all for supporting small businesses, but buyers should be aware of the hidden international logistics and unexpected return costs. Buyer beware.I did recieve my refund as promised. I feel the need to reply to your response. I have email proof from you and you clearly state and I quote: “Yes, we do offer a 14 day money-back guarantee for customers in the UK. If you’re not happy with the product, you can return it to our UK- based return address - not to China” end quote from your email to myself…23rd June 2025

These are all available on our website before purchase, including the fact that our return address is based in the U.S. While we ship to the UK, US, EU, Australia, and New Zealand, we’ve never advertised having a UK-based return location.
